Sweetwater Band & Orchestra: what do users think?
Darren Barnes: . So a few days after getting settled in here, I realized my acoustic's 6 strings were sounding pretty faded and hopped on Google maps to search for "music store", "guitar shop", etc.Oh, Ft. Wayne has a Guitar Center? Okay, that'll probably work (although I generally prefer to find a local shop if one is available
Julie R.: Clean, great selection, staff can answer questions, and a cafe and cafeteria! Was able to find what I needed and get lunch too!
Byron Gillespie: *Edited*After writing my initial review I got a phone call from from someone very high in this company. He apologized and explained that I should not have had an issue with trying to return our unopened instrument. That was probably one of the most sincere conversations that I have had in a very long time after writing a review of my experience with a business. He took care of my request ASAP while we were on the phone and could tell that he really cares about taking very good care of his customers! Using Sweetwater Band Instrument Rentals can & will be a very good experience if you ever needed to use them. *edited*What a horrible company! We applied to rent a instrument, got it in the mail and have been trying for 2 days to return it! We haven’t even opened the box from the mail but we keep getting the runaround on the phone about sending the instrument back!! Don’t use this company even if your kids school says you should! It’s all a big scam and probably the schools are in on it!
MrJams321 Ingram: Sweetwater probably has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Especially Joey. Went above and beyond. Five Stars guys!!
Howard C Testerman: Great experience at the store. Very nice store and great people there to help you.
Tim Rowe: Very helpful and nice STAFF
Joe Barker: Friendly and knowledgeable
larry tinker: A Musical Wonderland.
Jeremy Hempel: Awesome place for kids and adults
Benjamin LaLonde: Amazing buying experience online
brendan ormsby: Mynett Music is great for those that play orchestral instruments. You will find brass, woodwind, and strings here, and a wide variety of necessities and accessories for them + lessons and repairs.
Michelle Hipskind: Very helpful and friendly. My daughter is renting a violin for lessons. Thanks Kevin for all your help.
Jaxon Tilbury: Love playing saxophone
Jeff Keim: Great place
DonutFriends Forever121: I play violin at a local middle School and they were such a great help with getting me started with doing my own violin
Joseph jdonner: Very helpful and attentive employees. Great inventory and clean organized store.
Anne Scofield: I'm sorry to have to leave such a low rating, but my questions after my cello was set up, went unanswered. As a result, I feel like I just threw $75 away in the trash. I picked up my cello and brought it home only to find that it was grossly out of tune. Every set up on instrumentation that I have received over decades has included tuning. I left a message to try to find out if there was trouble tuning the instrument or if they didn't try to tune it. The phone message went unanswered. I was trying to decide if it was a manufacturing defect or if the cello was just very difficult to tune. I finally figured out that it was a manufacturing defect, since the cello never reached a true pitch on any of the 4 strings. I would think you'd be able to determine this during setup, but I'll never know what their input or side of the story is. I returned the cello to the manufacturer.
Nicole: Very friendly
Patrick Nash: Great place!
Timothy Martin: Did a great job with my trumpet 👍
Erin Salyers: Not a good vibe. It felt like the lady working was annoyed that we came in to purchase something. Still made a purchase but will find a different store to buy from next time.

The Brass Rail: what do users think?
grant fisher: Amazing
Sean Foerst: Way too small of an establishment, people rave about this place but I really don't see why. Tight space with cover charge, unhappy bartenders (unless you are their friend) obnoxious garage bands that should stay in the garage. But to each their own.
Amanda Hirschy (Foodie with the booty): Very chill and the bartender was friendly. Recommend a visit
Ben Townsend: Walked in with aspirations. Walked out in dungarees.
TRAVIS OVERMYER: Great place for live music in Fort Fun!!!! Drinks were strong! I recommend checking out this spot you Knuckle head!
Chris Bryant: Dusty is the best!

Piere's Entertainment Center - Live Music and Entertainment: what do users think?
John Ginder: It was my first visit there. Drove up from indianapolis to see a show that I was really excited to see. When I got there , 1st of all the place looks cool, secondly that the stage is right there. no matter where you stand ,you're gonna be able to see fine. And I could get right up front even in the front row if I wanted to and it was great towards the visual the sound was good also.If you really want to see a band that you really enjoy and they go to this location. I think you would not be disappointed in your experience.I wish google would let me add more photos because I have a lot more and send that to not really good.
Thomas J: I don’t know who was in charge of this place but I was not impressed at all. I purchased VIP tickets for early entry and for Skid Row’s sound check. We were supposed to enter at noon for the sound check but had to wait outside for over half an hour in the cold before we were allowed in. Then we were supposed to be allowed inside at 6:30, early entry and it wasn’t until about 7:00 before we got in. Several people were asking what was going on and no one could give us any answers. I’ve also heard better sound systems as well. Will not go back to this venue, there are better ones in Fort Wayne!
teka abner: Favorite spot for love music
Edward Wilges: Love going over for the bands . Just have to say didn't like getting home and seeing I was charged 48.00 for a jack and coke along with a vok cranberry twice . When normally it's only 24.96 when I get my drinks
Matthew Hair: A concert I attended started 30 minutes before the advertised start time. I missed the entire set of the first band that played.
Keith Warnimont: What a great venue.. I really enjoyed myself there. The staff are remarkable people.
Joshua Beckley: Always a great local place to see some of my favorite artists!
Casey Warner: This is an outstanding venue to go see live music! I will keep going back again and again.
Twon Vanover: Great venue but way over priced drinks
Chelsey Chronister: Great venue
Karl Jones: It is all ages now and the place looks better.Drink prices are steep and they give you the smallest servings. The bar next door has great burgers.
Cosmo Borden: Racist barIf there are too many people of color in the Hip-hop lounge they give a thumbs up to the DJ to turn it to Techno until they clear out, The place is despicable
Vic Jackson: Went to 3 shows this new years weekend, staff was rude, drinks were pricey, and security was extremely pushy except the one security(bald head w/beard) was very helpful and professional. Employees there think you should worship the ground they walk on, try a different approach. Ive been going to Pieres for 17 years and have NEVER seen 5 cop cars with them all sitting in there vehicles.WAY obsessive police presence and sort of intimidating for all those police. 1 star for the good show that was put on
Huhthisisit: Bar is racist. If there are too many people of color in the pop music section, the bouncers will give a thumbs up to the dj. Who will then switch the music to techno until they leave.
Chris Burch: Piere's is a great place to see top notch live performances of your favorite musical acts. The new owners are great and have really done A LOT to help Piere's become an up to date, amazing venue once again. I would highly recommend stopping in and seeing some of your favorite acts take Piere's main stage! 🙂
Cody Campbell: Saw my good buddies perform here!!! Great service
A man on a mission Earthmover: Very clean and professional place
Shawn Wilde: Rocked on
Robert Lusco: It was a little confusing at first because the separate areas, but all in all, an awesome music venue. Not too large, and everyone was friendly and nice. The Stans room bartenders were way nicer and helpful, making sure to point out deals for the night. Will return.
Grace E: They have done little to fix Piere's up. I was happy there wasn't carpeting to stick to. The floor was still sticky. The bathroom just looks old and tired. The handicap stall has no lighting. I'm told the price of drinks was pretty high. I am a designated driver and couldn't get cup of ice water. A friend bought me a water and I eventually bought a mt dew. The stage was good but the sound was bad. The band was great.
Brandon McDowell: Little dirty and sticky but it's a live music venue, what can you expect.

The Muse On Main: what do users think?
Tristan Atkinson: Having just discovered this place, I'm extremely sad it's going away. I really wish more places like this existed that allowed others to perform more freely in a real concert environment.
Kari O'Donnell: My daughter invited my husband and I to go watch a friend play in a band. We went and had fun. They had some local art work on display that was for sale. It was interesting.
Nicholas King: Listened to a few bands had alot of fun there was cards to play and seating
FearlessBeez -: Very chill place with cool people and lots of nice art work
keith kaszowski: That place is really a good time and the soda selection is out of this world
Tim Phelps: Damn fine local music and Damn fine sodas with local art!
Chad Sowers: This is a terrific well-run all-ages venue. I strongly urge everyone to support this venue.
Jeremy Kniola: Great intimate venue. Amazing sound and acoustics. We drove 3 hours to see Screaming Females there and it was well worth it. Check out the art and selection of delicious sodas. Highly recommend for your concert experience.
Elizabeth Childs: It's a great place to see unique bands. I only wish they wouldn't play Halloween type old fashioned videos behind the bands. It's so distracting.
Jacob Dantzer: Wednesday evening every week they put on an open jam! House drum set, mics, bass and guitar amps available, or bring your own gear. I just bring my pedalboard and bass. There are some regulars that are very open minded and talented.
Garrett M (GDroidBot): Great performance and practice area!
Logan Reed: Very cool venue space. The fact they don’t serve alcohol I think is rather revolutionary. Good sober spot to hangout and see local music acts. Very unique artwork and shop in this space as well.
joshua GEISE: Very cool venue, friendly staff. Definitely a lot more than I expected walking in the door. I'll be back.
Shaune Duncan: Amazing time!
Christie Badillo: Great place for concerts! One Voice, Jacobs Well and Chaotic Resemblance were Awesome! The muse has seating and plenty of space to stand, dance and head bang. (Lol) They have a nice little concession stand and a little shop with that sells unique local artist work. The whole place is like an art gallery. The Gathering church meets there are Sundays at 2pm if you would would like to come. Overall great place and the owner is a really great guy!
GEORETHIA HARDEN: I enjoyed the muse and did not know it existed. My son performed tonight and killed it. Rvmpage and Crow
Steve Koble: Great place for fans of all ages! They have a nice stage and take good care of the bands playing!!!!!
James Meinzen: Great place to go see live music
Azuli Babs: For sure one of the best live music places I’ve been to and everyone’s really nice
Dan Hicks: Great little local venue. The space for the bands is big enough, while still feeling close to the action. The venue is clean and has great options and prices for drinks and snacks.
Roy Duncan: Awesome all ages music venue!!!

The Ruin: what do users think?
Sean Foerst: The venue is ok, really not too impressive. The crowd is questionable with what venue is playing. So far the 3 times I have gone the choice of so called performances have been drunk friends wanting to be on stage to show off their karaoke skills. Nothing but useless style trying rap/hip hop that is very unimpressive. This could be a good place if they had a better person searching for better performances. Plus paying $5.00+ dollars to hear noise is not worth it.
Jared Poiry: Berlin 😞
Brandon Musick: Place is a joke I guess. Almost purposefully bad service...really strange. Also advertises as a craft beer bar...yet has no IPAs. Nor really any other craft beer. Server couldn't take 5 seconds to let me know details of draft list, which would have been helpful considering no bottle or draft list. Fort wayne....smh demand better
August Yingling: The Ruin is a hip bar that is definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere is chill and inviting, with exposed brick and cozy seating that makes you feel right at home. The live music adds an extra layer of ambiance that makes for a great night out.But what really sets The Ruin apart is the drinks. The bartenders are skilled mixologists who craft inventive cocktails with top-shelf ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a classic drink or something more adventurous, they have you covered.Overall, if you're looking for a place with a cool vibe, great drinks, and live music, The Ruin should definitely be on your list. It's the perfect spot to unwind with friends and soak up some good vibes.
Michele: Tonight I revisited the Ruin for another night of amazing music. A reclaimed neighborhood bar. A nice, new little venue in Fort Wayne. The service was great. The music was great. We will be back. So much good music happens here. I'm not one to go to a bar but where music happens I will go.
Ray Linville (Rayven Knighthawk): Great walk up bar. Tons of atmosphere and live music
Collin Lahr: Great bar/venue. Friendly staff. Great prices
Submit Strength: Very cool space and a great place to watch local acts perform. Nice beer selection. The only downgrade is that the bartender was totally disinterested in other customers while spending their time talking with personal friends and getting drunk on the job.
Sarah Heiges: Great open jazz sessions on Thursday nights, very friendly
Rita Hakes: Very nice place .Employees Very friendly.
Donna Hanna: Atmosphere is FUN! Variety of nice COLD beers. Seating for entertainment, not so good. But wouldn't stop me from going back.
Philip Parkison: Known for live music. It can hold 80 people max but it's comfortable with 30. It has liquor and beer available. They have games for people to play. It is an all ages venue so be aware if you see a baby with headphones on. It does have a gravel parking lot but I would recommend just parking on the street. The actual bar is hard to get to because they have chairs right in front of it. They do have some unique things like lunchables as food. They used to have a vodka Capri Sun drink. It's definitely Fort Wayne weird.
Autumn Pease: DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS VENUE!! Was really looking forward to a show this past september. Me and a few other people were planning on driving in from out of the state to attend. When I went to find the event invite it was gone. I reached out and inquired further (just a few days before said show), I was told by the owner it was canceled due to another event in town. There was absolutely Zero notice to the fans that the show had been canceled. After further digging I came upon the information that the show had actually been canceled due to no online ticket sales, but I'd like to point out that the owner of this bar WAS NOT THE ONE PAYING TO BOOK THE ARTIST...so if 100% profit on drink sales isnt enough to keep the doors open to fans.... Anyways, super crazy unprofessional if you are looking to book a spot for your show save yourself and your fans a hassle and book elsewhere. I reccomend checking out the Clubroom, or any of the breweries in town. Better yet, come book a show in Michigan 😁
Swag Humper: Great music and friendly atmosphere!
Jim W: Attended an Arlo McKinley concert at The Ruin. Nice small venue. Sound was decent but that’s more on the band’s sound engineer. Narrow shotgun style bar. Cassie was very accommodating to our needs for ADA seating during a GA show. Cold beer and looks to be adding food items. Would go back again down the road. We had a good time..
Kenny Graham: I don't know why more venues won't accommodate all ages shows, but I'm glad the Ruin does. I love seeing the kids get down.
Russell Shartzer: Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Has a trivia night and live music often.
Chad Sowers: Great live music venue! Bigger stage.
A Hart: Great Beer selection!
Finchellius Maximus: Great place to grab a drink, not too busy and very friendly bartender with quick service. Tom was great!
