I feel that this restaurant has stepped up the game over the past few years and have improved since the pandemic. We were here over Easter for lunch and was happy to report that they have wonderful service and the food comes out quick. I ordered the Non-Veg Thali (Traditional indian meal served in silver platter with chicken pakora, lamb curry, chicken curry, tandoori chicken, dal, rice, raitha, naan and kheer as dessert) which is a wonderful blend of different food off the menu. The curry was not too spicy unless you request it and everything was cooked perfectly. They give you ample naan and rice for your meal. The lamb also was quite tender and flavorful. DILEEP POLAMURI: This is the worst restaurant I have been to till today. They made us wait for 45 min after we placed our order. We ordered chicken curry and lamb biryani. Chicken curry was a bit managable but lamb biryani was worst. Lamb was stinking and it was nothing close to biryani. It was more of tomoatoe rice with lamb. Staff really didn't care much even though we complained. Please avoid this place unless you are dying. Worst place ever period.

The food was great, the spice level was perfect (I ordered medium, I was worried it will be too spicy but it was actually medium). Anita cuautle: This my second time at Nawa. The first time I had great service. Saturday not good at all. I made reservations earlier in the week to make sure I was going to have another great experience. Unfortunately my waiter didn't want to give me that. By the time I got my water ( because we waited so long to be greeted at our table) we already had our drinks, appetizers, and meal ready to be ordered. He did NOT greet us with his name either. He never once checked on us to see how our food was. Never checked to see if I needed another drink. I had to wave him down. What he was on top of, was to give me my bill. I noticed every other table was waited and greeted with timely manner but me. I still tipped him because I didn't want to look rude. But I actually want my tip back! We sat right next to the bar at the booth. So it's not like he couldn't see us every time he brought everyone's else their drink. In the summer it has a great patio. They do curry flights which is delicious. Should be a good time.Parking: Unless you want to walk far there's no free parking. Philip Parkison: Great Burmese place. Big parking lot. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is reasonably priced. Common to get carryout but I don't feel weird if I choose to dine in. I think it's worth a try. They have good curry, ramen and noodles. I really want to get the naan for breakfast. Meet you here whenever you want. It is far from downtown and a little out of way but I think Anthony Blvd is a good road.

Why this place is so out of the way and receives so few reviews, I'll never know. Aladdin Food Express is a bit out of the way for most Fort Wayners (or... well, anybody, tbh), yet it's easily the best Indian AND Burmese restaurant in town. Eh, question his life decisions all you want. We have many profs, but only one Aladdin. So how does Aladdin taste? Amazing, actually. Even the fried chicken is good, and I heard a couple folks order the pizza. Y'know, just in case you brought that new friend from work along and they couldn't stand this ethnic food. Hole in the wall atmosphere in the remnants of restaurant culture from yesteryear. Brilliant food please see my photos. I ordered the lamb shank biryani. I want to eat it every day. I wasn’t provided with a knife because the meat fell away from the bone. Speaking of the bone, I was able to squish and squeeze and suck the bone marrow from both ends. Biryani rice was complex and aromatic. I shared my leftovers with my roommate who was left in the same indulgent haze as I. My partner ordered a soup whose broth can only be described as healing. Spicy but not hot. Brilliant. Do not miss. I’ll be back with more friends too.

Edith Helbert: This place is so good. I hope they re-open soon. I love their Chicken Rogan Josh and I've been missing it these last few months! The Biryani is also very good, and my child loves the cheese pizza.
Luke Minix: I absolutely love this place. Far and away the best indian food in fort wayne, and maybe the best overall restaurant too. Definitely the hidden gem i had been looking for since i moved here. Im terrified right now because theyve been "temporarily closed" for at least a month and i dont know why. Terrified at the possibility they wont reopen again. Every time i find a place I love they seem to close down.

Sara Christensen: We've returned a couple times since the change in ownership. This is definitely NOT the same restaurant. The dining room was dirty, service was lackluster, and the food lacks the love and pride that was so evident before. So disappointing![from 5 years ago] The food and service were both amazing! My husband and I brought our 7 & 9 yr old kids with us and ordered 3 dishes for the 4 of us to share. The server noticed without a word from us that the spice level was a little high for the kids and brought us milder versions of the two spicy dishes. Great food and wonderful experience! This will be a regular stop for us anytime we’re in the Fort Wayne area!

Shaun: The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is amazing. One time my pregnant wife had a head cold, the chef added a little extra spice to the food and relieved the congestion. The last time we were there, the server helped me carry the food to my car so I would not need a second trip. Don't forget the food is amazing.And years after the original review, we are still huge fans of the food and restaurant.

The NomTok is now full of gristle, the tom yum has lost all its flavor, and this last order of pad thai with chicken(pictured) had no chicken, no flavor, no peanuts or lime and the only thing I can say about it is that its spicy, and not in a good way.This used to be my favorite restaurant in town, and now I'm gonna avoid it, and im not happy about it.

Wendy Cox: My neighbor turned me on to this door even I moved back into the’07 and it’s a favorite of mine and my room mate. The level of spice is precisely right for anyone who knows what the real flavors should be! Anything on the menu is going to be excellent.
Genesee Jones: Went with a group of friends for dinner. Our Waiter had black teeth, which turned off most of our group but he did provide excellent service. I did not like the meal I ordered it was a noodle dish. A pad Thai of sort. Other's at my table had mixed reviews. The tea I had was very good, I would order that again.
