mark donaldson: It's hard to avoid superlative when talking about Bistro Nota, but I'll try. Comfortable and under control. Casual while professional. Priced right and generous portions. We tend to over-order because everything is so good and it travels well. Nicely curated wine list. Tons of good places in Fort Wayne and this one stays at the top of our list.
michelle roth: My husband and I went to Bistro Nota a couple of weeks ago on a cold rainy Friday night. We went because one of the owners/chefs is Jake - formerly of Chop’s Wine Bar (when it was at it’s best). As is Jake’s forte, the the food was fabulous! We tried several different things. We ordered a bottle of the “house” red wine from their varied wine list. It was a great wine, far superior to what I expected from anyone’s house wine! The Pain et Fromage was delicious-Homemade Sliced Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia served with Roasted Pepper Cheese Dip.For dinner we tried their delicious Bistro Mac & Cheese - for an “a la carte” item it was a large portion. We ordered Low country Shrimp (GF) from the “small plates” portion of the menu - my husband doesn’t eat pork so they graciously omitted the bacon. We ordered Beef Teres Major entree -Petite Shoulder Tenderloin, Roasted Garlic Marinated, Potato Veloute, Sofritowith Grilled Focaccia. The staff is engaging, congenial & professional. The atmosphere is comfortable, urban, slightly Industrial. We will go back to Bistro Nota again and again !!!Vegetarian options: They have many delicious options for vegetarians and they will modify menu items for vegetarians !Parking: Street parking, parking garage or parking lot across the street.
MrNdb10: I was worried the portions were going to be small but I was pleasantly surprised they weren’t. I had their beef stroganoff and really enjoyed it. my wife loved her beef short ribs as well. We finished it all with the delicious toffee blondie dessert. I will gladly go there again in the future!
Drew Ferrier: Great service and atmosphere. Had the Nota salad and the hot mess express. Make sure you specify no hot sauce when ordering the hot mess express, unless you like it hot. 🔥
Jared Toupin: Great place! You won’t be disappointed.
Ann Johnson: This place is a gem! The food is different than typical Ft. Wayne fare and don't expect enormous portions, but it is absolutely delicious. You will not leave hungry. The service is knowledgeable and friendly. The owner and his staff really have a passion for serving up quality food!Recommended dishes Hot Mess Express …More
Eileen Claypool: Hooray! Bistro Brunch is back on Saturdays! Delicious brunch-only menu plus a few special items off the dinner menu (heavenly Brussels sprouts). Service is always friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is cozy and laid back.

b moody: Stellar experience! We tried 3 different entrees and an appetizer and all were absolutely excellent. Our server was great! We will definitely go again and recommend highly.
Rachael Caldwell: This place is quaint and cozy. The decor is simple and beautiful, currently very Christmas like.I ordered the beef teres major (medium rare) it was a perfect! Their focaccia bread was soft and delicious. Will definitely be back.
Joseph Caldwell: Where to start, the food, the food makes me cuss it’s so good. I had the braised short rib, and it tastes like fall on a plate, perfect. The people are nice and friendly and happy and thus the service and experience are excellent. The decor is clean and modern and simple. This might be the best place to eat in the Fort.
Jon Albright: Was ok ishFood: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Audrey Liz: My new favorite restaurant! The short ribs are tender with a crispy crust on the outside, flavorful demi glace. The carrots are cooked to perfection and the polenta is like eating a delicious cloud. The foccacia was amazing. The blondie was perfect! I will be back!
Curiosity Kindled: So delicious! We split their beef teres major and their Mac and cheese and it was a perfect amount for dinner with a dessert. They make their own focaccia bread which was toasted beautifully and will definitely bring us back! The waitstaff was wonderful and we were able to get in and out before our show at the embassy without feeling rushed. All in all a wonderful date night out!

Arbor: what do users think?
Barry Devlin: 2 stars given for decor. The service is slow. The food was terrible. We ordered : fried chicken/gross, Trout/salty and fishy smelling, gnocchi/dull, french onion soup/moer like soggy cheesy bread, lamb ribs/wheres the meat? The iwner and chef should be embarrassed
Megan Carr: We were visiting from Detroit for a comedy show and staying the night at the hotel. Disappointed with our dining experience- the restaurant is open to the hotel lobby and wasn’t very lively. There were hardly any people there on a Saturday night and the soft piano music was putting us to sleep! We ordered espresso martinis and the first round was amazing, but the second round was obviously not the same drink and lacking ingredients. Tasted like straight espresso and even the server commented on how much darker the drinks were - there was visibly no creamer of any kind in the drinks. We asked for some baileys to add to the drinks and they tried charging us an additional $24 for two small shots of baileys that were supposed to be included per the drinks description on the menu. When brought to her attention, the server was rude about removing the charge. Food was pretty good, but over priced and atmosphere was boring. Do not recommend for out-of-towners looking for a cool restaurant to visit!
Nat Kirsch: Came in for breakfast, I had the French toast with a side of fruit, both were delicious. The serving size of the fruit has changed recently, so the pictures posted by other reviewers don’t accurately represent what you get nowadays. I explained to my waitress that I was expecting more based on these reviews, she was very understanding and explained to me that they changed things about a month ago. I greatly appreciate the transparency and kind service.

Skip Balkenbusch: Dining area had one other table of three seated during our visit. 1/2 Chicken under cooked, joints stiff and some red on one bone... tough and little taste. Mushroom side- dominamt vinegar taste and mushrooms were firm- as if undercooked. Gnocchi was burned on one.side. butternut ravioli was decent, smal serving, green garnish had been baked and was dry and crispy. Overall food presentation was poor to mediocre. Cost to value does not warrant a second visit. Service was slow but acceptable. Of course the hotel was gorgeous in appearance but food quality and service needs a similar investment. I am proud of Fort Wayne and those who built this hotel. Lets notch it up.Unrelated: A hotel guest pulled up as we were departing, two employees at door watched her remove her luggage from the car, never went outside but did offer to help once inside. Right or wrong it looked wrong for a boutique hotel.
Cory Balkenbusch: Dinner service was incredibly slow despite no other tables being seated. Order of gnocchi was burned to a crisp and chicken came undercooked. Certainly not worth the high cost nor the time.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Louay Masri: Salmon breakfast sandwich is very good
Cristina Lafaurie: The food was fantastic! he pepperoni pizza and the meatballs are absolutely delicious. Also great for getting coffee! The almond milk cappuccino was really good.
Rachel Franchock: Good quality food for the price. The atmosphere is so cute. This would be perfect for a date night or special event. The only downfall of this restaurant is that the service is basically non-existent. We could see our cocktails just sitting at the bar for nearly 10 minutes so by the time they got to us, they were watered down from the ice. It took additional time to then place our food order so after nearly 30 minutes, we finally had our appetizer. Once order was placed, food came out quickly and was fairly good. The Broccolini was quite spicy though! Both our pasta dishes, ravioli and gnocchi were well made and tasty. The Caesar salad was incredibly garlicky. If you are not in a rush, this is a great little hotel restaurant and would be a lovely place to eat at while staying at the hotel.
Joshua Raber: For our anniversary this year we wanted to try somewhere new. We had heard the Arbor was highly recommended so we decided to make a reservation online. It was a little confusing because when I made the reservation the only area I could reserve for was called "the Patio". I hesitated because I didn't want to sit outside in the cold so I called the restaurant and they informed me that's what they call their dining room. I asked for an intimate table away from all the action so my wife and I could just spend time alone enjoying a nice meal. When we got there the smell of the scratch kitchen filled the dining room and the sound of classical piano filled our ears. It turns out they had a live music performance that evening to serenade us while we ate. We wanted to try a little bit of everything So we ordered a salad, an appetizer and two entrees. After starting our evening with a celebratory champagne, we were brought a charcuterie board with delicious meats and cheeses. We were very happy with this assortment and would definitely get it again.Following the charcuterie board they brought out a Caesar salad. Typically this is one of my favorite things to order at a restaurant, especially if I know that their dressing is made from scratch Unfortunately, this was the only bad part of the evening as it was inedible due to the high salt content. The combination of the salty dressing, the sardines, and the parmesan cheese had me reaching for my water every fight. I could not finish it. Thankfully our server was kind enough to comp this from our bill. The meatball appetizer was delicious, I love the fact it was serving the cast iron dish hot straight out of the oven. The deep rich tomato sauce paired nicely with the sweetness of the meat and the saltiness of the toasted cheese. I just simply wish there was more sauce. For our entrees, my wife ordered the butternut squash ravioli as recommended by our server. She told us to expect rich and bold fall flavors and that's exactly what we got. The butter not squash was smooth and creamy, and the ravioli noodle itself was thick enough to hold up to cooking but thin enough that it melted in your mouth. This dish was both technically flawless and well rounded in its delicious flavor composition.I ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this dish was very robust. The portion was big enough that it could have fed both my wife and I. The bolognese was heavily reduced, coated the noodles perfectly, was rich in spices and herbs, and had plenty of protein in it. I could not finish it and was more than happy to take leftovers home.Overall, we were very pleased with our dining experience at Arbor. I would love to go back and try the rooftop bar sometime. Our server told us that up there they serve a different cocktail and food menu so you could try different items that aren't available at the restaurant itself. If you're staying at the Bradley or somewhere near downtown, you should definitely stop by Arbor.
Lucas Straw: Our meal was delicious! We got the meatballs as an appetizer and loved it to the last bite. We recommend the 1/2 chicken or bolognese dish; you just can’t pass up on homemade pasta. 10/10 would recommend.
J Bay: This place has so much potential, I'm really bummed about my experience here and hope they can get things together. Our party ordered sweet potato hash with scrambled egg, biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, sides of sausage and crispy potatoes, and a hot chocolate. It took 15 minutes to get our food after ordering. The sweet potato hash had fried egg, not scrambled, and rather than bring a new one we were offered a side of scrambled egg. The hash was cold and missing the chili, cheese and onion. Staff took it to warm it up but it took nearly 10 minutes to bring out, and at that point we were ready to leave. The portion size was very small, about 1/2 cup or so of sweet potato hash, bland with a couple tiny pieces of bacon/bell pepper. Eggs were bland as well. No offer to comp this meal was made. No salt and pepper on the table. The egg in the eggs benedict was poached poorly, and instead of coming with polenta as listed on the menu, it came with crispy potatoes. The person who ordered this also ordered a side of crispy potatoes, which were cold and redundant with the inconsistency with the menu. The pork belly was inedible. The dish also came with wilted green garnish. The biscuits with the biscuits and gravy were burnt. The sausage was hot and fine, the hot chocolate was lukewarm. Our server disappeared early on, someone else brought our food out. No one checked to make sure our food was OK. We had to wait a long time for them to notice we needed our check. On the positive side, the decor is super cute.It would also be nice if they included drink options on the breakfast menu.
David Richhart: I dined at Arbor today for a business lunch. Very disappointed in the service and food. Disappointed enough to not return or recommend this restaurant which is unfortunate because it is located in a beautiful boutique hotel downtown Fort Wayne.
Natalie Warner: Great food, laid back atmosphere and great service. Comfy velvet couch. I appreciated the nonalcoholic drink list too!
Rian Metelko: located on The Bradley’s ground-level, Arbor is the culinary heartbeat of the hotel. With its name rooted in the city’s abundance of treelined trails and parks, the restaurant draws on its natural surroundings not only in design but through a carefully crafted menu using locally-sourced ingredients.Kindling familiar feelings of home-cooked favorites, each dish combines comfort with an elevated twist. From Egg BLT’s and a coffee menu curated by Utopian Coffee for breakfast to Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Grown-up Grilled Cheese for lunch and classics like Chicken Pot Pie for dinner – Arbor is ideal for any time of day.
Brad Gerber: Great supper with my wife. Meal was fantastic and service was excellent. Decor very nice. Very nice.
Sandi Brubaker: Another fabulous meal. Super good and super service. Highly recommend. Tried the half chicken and rigatoni with wild mushrooms. Also had the Brussels sprouts and broccolini. All so good. Wonderful combination of flavors. Look forward to our next visit
