BioLife Plasma Services: what do users think?
Danielle Whitaker: So I donated yesterday morning everything went well ...when I tried to use the atm my funds were not processed called biolife the staff stated they were having problems with the system and it should be deposited by the end of the day cool ...but it wasn't I've called the card the bank I used the atm at etc and they all agreed funds were not issued so why is my card now in the negative smh tried to call biolife today no answer left a message still no answer its crazy if the center already knew it was having issues why not tell people ahead of time smh ....
Preston Kaehr: Great experience. Super friendly people who answered all my questions and were very courteous during my visit. A+!
Robin Zion: Most of the time, I donate twice a week. I used to do it just for the money, when the first center was downtown. I now have a friend who depends on plasma once a month, two birds, one stone. #Zebrastrong
Stacy Mygrant: The staff is awesome and a lot of them have been there during the 3 years of my donating. It is nice to see a familiar face. You can tell by watching them that they all work very hard. I know there can be a long wait time but I typically donate in the mornings and my wait time is rather minimal. I am normally pretty in and out...Tuesday I was in and out in only 45/50 minutes. No complaints here!
Randi Gonzalez: Fast and pleasant
Rebecca Ashby: This place is always so relaxing. Everyone smiles. And everyone is kind. The nurses are great too! Super easy to talk to and they answer all my questions and explain everything very clearly. I don't think I could ever donate at a different plasma center. These people are Amazing people!
Willow Clute: Great staff , clean & very friendly & organized ❤️
nia padilla: All of the staff are so positive and have great personalities! I have only donated 4 times but every time I enter BioLife it is always a great environment and atmosphere! 😊
Justin Woodward: I've been a donor for 10 plus years at multiple Biolife locations. Sadly their staffing levels and processes have never recovered from changes made in 2020. Today's example - 30 people in a screening line, 4 waiting in the lobby with questions, and there's one staff member in sight. It has taken one hour just to complete the questions and make it through the screening line, and that is the new norm. The entire donation experience used to take 90 minutes start to finish, but now regularly takes 2.5 to 3 hours. The staff are kind and helpful, but the system is broken, and it's why I almost never donate anymore, I just don't have that much time to invest in standing in line.
Crystal Calhoun: Jayla and Katie were really wonderful as well as helpful today. Jayla coached me through lowering my pulse rate and Katie helped with the review process. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Ann Giese: Easy money hardest part is staying hydrated. People that work here are good people. They dont even hurt that bad when they stick you.
Abby Moeder: I’ve called then 20 times and left multiple messages. Never received a call back when all I wanted to do was change my location after moving. I guess they don’t want plasma donated.
William T Charland Jr: As a first time plasma donor , I highly recommend this branch. This was my first time donating plasma … The Getz road branch -BioLife made it a great experience . The staff is great and the facility is clean. Easy money.
jason tice: I love it here! If I could leave more than 5 stars then I would. I've never been deferred for the day. I've always felt comfortable and at home coming in. And I've got so many favorites here. I've learned so much about blood and plasma and the process with the machine. I've learned so much from so many of the workers here. I would recommend anyone to come here. Scared of needles? Yeah?? So am I!!!! All these years I thought that's was what would hold me back but I was severely wrong. I felt so at peace getting poked and after a while I got so used to it that donating plasma has become a second nature for me. Today, the one who hooked me up was Jewel and she did an amazing job talking me through so I wouldn't get distracted by the needle poking me. She truly knows what she's doing. And then makenna came along and we had a jolly good time with our conversation. She laughed. I laughed. We all laughed! I love how safe they make me feel sitting in these chairs every time I come in to donate!! I'm gonna leave this review with one final thought: "The fear of the needle will subside and you'll be okay; your safety is their first priority and they never make you feel like you're just a number. They truly care and wanna make you want to come back for your next donation. "
Justin A. Laws: Always professional, clean facility, caring. Only one bad experience in 3 years
Brittany Bruick: The staff is extremely friendly. It is pretty busy majority of the times I have gone in, but it's expected as i'm assuming it's the 5 o'clock rush. However, the staff and even majority of the clients are always friendly and waiting patiently for their turn. Everyone is very knowledgeable and continue to check in on you to be sure you are doing well.
Christopher DiMase: Kayla was very expedient and it was very clean location.
Jami Okuly: Love what biolife stands for and the girls that work there are amazin especially Johnna and Kayla they made the time fly and I didn’t even feel the stick, PERFECT!!!
Mindy McNally: Always friendly staff! I love how helpful and kind they are. I know it can't be an easy job when they are short staffed but they all keep doing their best. I enjoy know that I am making a difference. Keep it up Getz Biolife!!
Tristan Spoor: Johnna did an amazing job! Clean facility. I’m happy to be back!
Paris Abercrombie: Dakota was very helpful I love going there she makes my donation great

BioLife Plasma Services: what do users think?
Quentin Schwartz: If you're desperate for cash great place as long as you have two to three hours every visit to sit there as there's not enough staff to process everyone through effectively whether that's the management not hiring enough or not scheduling enough or it's corporate saying they have enough I am not sure but it's turn me against donating plasma at BioLife in fort Wayne so I'll be moving on to another city just slightly farther away to see if it's the same way My patience is at an end oh and did I mention that BioLife also dropped the payout by a $20 so it's not worth even sitting there for the time and then they expect you to sit there for a half an hour after their junk machines malfunction and you can't get a your red blood cells back and I understand that but you know it's a bit frustrating with the rest of it
Declan Bowles: Such a kind and accomodating staff, easy process.
Tamyraa Smith: They are not berry good with the needles and it takes a long time to even get seated
Katie J: Did the physical and my first donation the other day. Everyone was very professional and the environment was incredibly clean. I was in and out more quickly than I had expected. I’m looking forward to making regular donations.
Tommy Larry: I just walked out those new people need more training they mess up my arm they told me try other arm I said no other arm is bad and failed to many times so I don't get paid for it. It's not my fault mess up its there's fault. Too many new people (worker) they sucks big time they just need more training there few people work here long time and I never have problems with them they awesome but that being said I just not too happy about it. Waste my time and trip.
Jada Townsend: Love this place
Leo Bennett: Great place to get a little cash on the side
Jeremy Fike: Sucked long wait times slow and drove 30 Miles only to get told couldn't do donate
Kyra Rippe: I've been coming here for years and never had an issue. Staff is always very friendly, though they're under staffed they still move quickly and are so kind. I haven't donated for a few months because of my busy schedule but decided some extra cash for the holidays would be helpful. I had to schedule a physical since it's been a while. At first things were going really smooth, kind of a long wait but I went during a busy time so I didn't mind. I sat with the nurse and went over everything and apparently one of my tattoos hadn't been logged. I've had this tattoo 20 years but it's on my lower back so it's easily missed. I've had multiple physicals before this, I know I've mentioned it before, plus it's faded and looks old. I was asked if I had a picture of the tattoo with a date on it, obviously not. Then i was told they'd have to request my paper chart from 2010 and if it wasn't there I just wouldn't be allowed to donate again! I also have a few old piercings that were never logged, so I went over those with the nurse. It's obvious a clerical error was made on their part and it's unfortunate that I may lose my ability to donate because of it.
lisa hargis: Next time I'll remember to make an appointment it's by appointments only
Khelley Adams: Terrible experience
Kimberly Lambright: Friendly staff. Great prices. Very considerate. On top of making sure every has what they need and are comfortable.
Darrol Clark: Not bad
Colleen Ide: Unfair very heart broken
Zona Rasnick: Really good place, just during their busy season the wait times get lengthy. (2 to 3 hours.) They do things quickly usually but when they put you in a bed it could be 30 minutes to an hour before you're poked and start donating.
bradley hall: I sat here for nearly an hour waiting to be set up, the employee didn’t even realize I wasn’t going yet. Had I not finally spoke up, it probably would’ve been much longer.Very disappointed
Blue Lagoon: Staff and everything is great, seems to run smoothly. However, Biolife is making $500++ per person/per plasma AND if we get lucky 🍀...we get promotions to ONLY get maybe $90-100 ..Cat even begin to imagine what they make selling the plasma for people who do NEED it.
Justin Gilbert: Everyone was really nice and talked me through my first plasma donation. I’ve donated blood many times before, but never plasma. Would highly recommend.
David Hollis Knight: Doing great keep up the good work and my reviews will remain a 5 star Thank You Very Much!
William Hiner: Way short staffed use to be able to come and be in and out in less than an 1.5 hours been here 4 times in theblast month and it's taken 2.5 hour per donation, if your short staffed don't take so many donors at once
Javier Rangel: Nice facilty but regularly understaffed.
