Doc W: You’ve got to watch out for the bait and switch tactics at this place. I constantly get preapproval letters in the mail with a code to accept my preapproval. Yet, if you call the branch to take advantage of it, they don't need the codes nor do I you get the amount that was on the preapproval.Secondly, what they won't tell you beforehand with a loan you've been approved for is that they need the title to your car. I had loans with their competitors where they did not need this or if they did it was disclosed beforehand.Despite all this, I still took a loan out with them.I renewed my loan once and attempted to do so a second time. For the initial loan, they did not contact my insurance agent. The second time, they suddenly contacted my insurance agent, which opened up a can of worms with the insurance agent attempting to upsale my coverage. I told my loan officer about this, and she replied "Well, I don't care" and didn't pursue me having to upgrade to full insurance coverage.On the third occasion, I got a loan officer that was petty and a stickler and drove me crazy over two days with repeated phone calls. She also said those preapprovals really aren't loan offers, just solicitations, basically admitting that it's fraud. Then, she again called my insurance agent and this time refused modifying the loan without getting full insurance coverage on a car that’s ten years old.What I’ve since learned: anyone that won’t do your loan online and makes you call or come in is bad news.

S A: Mariner Finance (this location) sent my family an unsolicited check for about $3500. The thing is, this check represents a loan and cashing the check means I agree to the loan terms. Let's take a look at the loan terms:- Amount Financed: $3,500- Finance Charge: $2,200- APR: 34%This is nearing predatory lending practices. Imagine what they're doing to people that don't understand these terms or people who think it's "free money" or maybe even someone who doesn't understand English very well. Shame on you.

Casondra Seip: Terrible company......RUN FAST.......Even after talking to Chris and Erin and them agreeing to wait til I got my settlement for me to pay the car off, and yes I have proof of them agreeing to it as well, they still came and got the car even though I was making the payments up to the agreement. They are very rude and always go back on their word like I said even if it's in writing it doesn't matter to them one bit. They can keep it, they won't see a dime out of me.

Terry Williams: Jennifer is very rude and disrespectful. I called to see if there was anything I needed to do, since I was in an accident and my car was totaled so gap insurance needed to be filed. She was short, told me she didn’t have any information, and I needed to be patient. This was the first time I called, because my insurance company was the one dealing with them. I asked to speak with the manager, Jessica, and she was just as rude and said Jennifer had every reason to be that way because I had my insurance rep handle everything which apparently makes me combative. She refused to let me file a complaint. If you have to call them, be prepared to deal with rude customer service and just know you’re always going to be at blame for their rudeness. If I could could speak to someone hire up I would but their only number goes back to them, and refuse to let me speak to someone who will actually file a complaint.

Shanel Gray: If I could give this company negative stars I would. Do not get a loan with this company. They will take your payment and then repo your car the next day. After getting the car, they will add frivolous fees to run up the amount owed, even after they sale car. Following the sale of the car Kitch was awarded a judgement which has been coming out of my check for over a year. Today, Kitch decided to place a delinquent account notice on my credit report, stating that all of a sudden, they have charged off the account, even though they continue to collect payment on the charged off account. This is a corrupt and predatory loan company. If you are looking for a car loan and they offer you financing run!

G: They have the rudest employees I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t even say goodbye as common courtesy, they just hang up. Never get a loan from these people. Pandemic, they don’t care! I hope this company goes under Bc they are terrible. My loan is almost paid off. Thank goodness and good riddance, never again will I use them!

Sarah Bradford: Great company! I have had times where I couldn't make my payment on the day it was due; and they have never charged me a late fee. The down side, is they don't send emails or letters to remind you to make a payment. But, they at least give you a grace period after your due date; instead of attacking you with late fees.

Duane Geisman: They are super friendly!! Worked with us after our engine blew less than 5 months of buying a new car. They worked with us if we were late on a payment. As long as you make your payments they don't care. They also gave us another small loan to get our GMC fixed even though our credit isn't the best because we make our vehicle payments on time and when we say we will. I'm having Total shoulder replacement surgery next month and will be off for 4 months. They are working with us on that too so we won't have to make a payment until I'm back to work. Great people to work with. Highly recommend this company for your loan needs.

I was laid off after several years at the same job and I tried to just get my payment a bit lower for a few months as I had never even been late, at all. I ended up surrendering my vehicle because I couldn’t make the entire payment and now, during a pandemic as an essential worker, they are garnishing my wages at 3x what my car payment is. I paid on this bill every month without missing a payment and they wanted more money so they have garnished my wages. I don’t mind paying the bill, at all, I understand what I signed, however, to push this through the court electronically during a pandemic and to garnish several hundred dollars a month more than the actual payment was, is not good business practice. It has put my disabled child and grandson at risk of losing our place to live because I can not pay the bills and we are on food stamps so I just think maybe trying to work things out with those who are trying to pay, is a better business practice. Terrible service, find a different lender.
