Shoe Carnival: what do users think?
Catherine Napier: Would love to be able to shop in the women's section but they never have my size, apparently all women have tiny feet....
Alissa Reining: Came in to find a very specific shoe for my daughter. As we walked in I noticed the manager using a stack of shoes to hold his head up so I asked him my question. My question being “I need a pair of all black converse that I know you don’t sell in store, however you do online. I just need to know what size so we can get it ordered. Can you help me with that and get it ordered here?” His reply “ladies converse are in row 4A” and then he walked away. I was quite confused as I stood there with my 10 year old child not quite understanding why he sent me to the ladies department. We walked around for a little bit and then left, I was hoping to buy her shoes and myself a pair or two. Instead we left and went to the busy mall where we found much better service and were able to walk away with the shoes we needed. Thank you Journey’s for being the shoe store that Shoe Carnival could never be.
Mike boyle: Love there foods
Edwin Howard (Splashwhip): In and out in approximately 10 mins.
Reasha Bridges: Nice! Have a little of every kind of shoes. Lots of clearance and good deals!
Hannelore House: They could be more helpful and their prices our too high
B. Preston: I came in on a Wednesday to get some shoes for work. Made it to the checkout line and my order wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Told the cashier that the shoes had sale tags on them and he says that doesn't start until Friday.. Not sure why they had sale tags on them for Wednesday then If the sale doesn't start until Friday. So I said no thank you and left the store. My mother who is in line behind me overhears him being disrespectful towards me regarding false advertising and has to tell him " that was my daughter!" And goes on to explain that it's not right to hang sale tags if the item isn't on sale. Pay attention shopping here people.
Kathy: They were moving stuff around..Liked it better before...just my opinion
Sam Scalise: Very helpful staff prices very reasonable Tons of different shoe brands. Been a customer for years
Mr. Moreno: Getting better even tho I've noticed a decline in Nike
Cheryl Sherpinski: I had to get a pair of waterproof, slip resistant shoes for work, reasonably priced Sketchers.
Chad “LoganDX” Gottfried: Good selection of shoes, staff was friendly
Maryolyn Wells: They told me the other store had the shoe I want and when we went to the other store they didn't have it..
Charlee Taylor: Good selection could use more sales
Grandma Bower: Took grandkids there for school shoes and there really wasn't not much of a variety of nice looking shows for women/ young girls. Wont return to this store.
Jeniffer Bollinger: Love this shoe store! Shop here for my kids school shoes all the time so it pays to be a shoe perks member. Just wish there was more selection of wide fit shoes for my son in store other than trying to find online and to find out they don't fit...
Terry Isley: The shoes I purchased were reasonably priced. The store was clean and orderly. Employees were not pushy. The cheesy carnival theme is still there.
Alan Ray: Store isn't as organized like it used to be. Found shoes with the original price marked out and a higher price put on them. Did find something for the kiddo though.
Tara Skye: have some good deals
Jeremiah Krider: Good for a self service shoe store.
Jill Miller: Went in to the store to ask for help tracking a missing order. The guy at the register didn't know how to help, so he called a manager who was a jerk to my granddaughter, me & the other employee. Dude could use a huge lesson in customer service. I was apologetic, but the manager kept making us feel like we were interfering with his evening. I'll do my best to stay out of the Northcrest, Fort Wayne store & keep my orders on-line.

Shoe Carnival: what do users think?
Pamela Watson: Staff was nice. Lots of options, even for the kids!
Darby Fleming: Could have used some employee assistance but as usual no one around. They had one pair i was looking for but not the work shoes in my size. Low inventory on sizes 12 and above
Herb 2: I understand they are working with the retail space available but the aisles are to narrow to allow people to get past each other. Walked out and won't go back
Craig Faulkner: Cool shoes, great selection, and a friendly staff. You can always find a bargain.
Patti Quintano: I was pleasantly greeted upon entering the store and again upon leaving. No offers to help. Other than that, I was invisible to staff. They were busy chatting amongst themselves at the front of the store. Nice selection of shoes fairly well organized. Great option if you want to shop in peace.
Tim Theodore: Only place we go for shoes
Nadia Rhoades: I don't get to Fort Wayne to shop here often, but when I do, I always have a pleasant experience. So many brand and styles of shoes to choose from and the staff has aways been friendly!
Larry Banks: The boots fit. What more could I ask?
Denise Kathleen: Good choices and reasonable prices.
Ben: Limits show sizes
PETER OKOJIE: Good
Jennifer Ferrell: Didn't have the shoes that I desired but they had something similar to them by the same manufacturer at a good price.
Thomas Hanke: Busy place
Bernard Williams: Found the colors of shoes I was looking for in my size. Fast service.
Emily Rothgeb: We go here several times a year for growing kids shoes and never walk out without at least spending 200 if not more. You can never find someone to help with sizing questions and if you are lucky to they act inconvenienced. We went during their recent special where you were supposed to receive a raffle ticket which we never got and spin the wheel which I had to ask to do.Then less than 3 days later I went to exchange a pair of shoes that were too big none of the local stores had the right size which whatever... But when I went to get my money back they told me I had to have it on my card which is a debit card. I've never in all my years of shopping heard that. With a credit card yes but debit is same as cash. So I called the Jefferson store to which they said it was at manager discretion which they were rude the whole time so of course they weren't going to. It's just another thing that annoyed me about this visit
THE PAYTON: They have so many shoe options wall to wall options of shoes...
Jason Stiffler: Great place to buy shoes highly recommended
Vicky Geiger: Not allot of deals or coupons. Employee not helpful
Michele: Worst customer service ever. We counted 6 employees, none of whom offered assistance to my husband and me. We looked at and tried on 6 different styles of sandal which were in stacks 10 high. Somehow we got the boxes we needed without toppling the stacks. We walked up and down almost every aisle, never asked if we could be helped. When we checked out the girl said what it total was, that was all. She didn't greet us, ask if we found what we were looking for not thank us at the end of the transaction. If you go I'd suggest you bring a tall, industrious friend to help you.So I decided to go back because it is the closest shoe store to my house. When I walked in there were 3 employees in the immediate area. Not one said a word to me. I looked at the sandals up front but was really looking for some dress shoes. I wondered the ladies section finding mostly sandals, crocs and athletic shoes. I saw 2 more employees while walking around. As I walked to the door 1 of the 3 employees said "Have a nice day." That was the only thing said to me for the 15 minutes I was in the store. I am now going to DSW.
Lauren Widmann: WOW I FOUND SHOES!!!!
Melinda Trigg: I got the shoes I wanted and it was buy 1 get 1 free on sandals!!! They were very helpful and professional.

Fort Wayne Curling Club: what do users think?
Missy Schott: Excellent volunteer staff! Made me as a newby to curling feel very comfortable and they were very encouraging! I highly recommend checking them out! Dress warm and have gloves. This is a sport for ALL ages. Make it a family adventure!
Melanie Rivera: If you have ever considered joining, just do it! So much fun, and the instructors are so helpful and patient.
Brian Gaines: The learn to curl event I attended this week was educational and a lot of fun. It definitely made me want to join a rookie league. The facility is awesome and it's great that it has a bar. We are very lucky to have a dedicated curling facility in Fort Wayne – I believe it's the only one in Indiana. I highly recommend giving curling a try!
Ron Roberts: Our visit was as a large family gathering with half of the people being toddlers. The staff did a fantastic job of serving our group with much patience! I would highly recommend renting the whole facility as we did on a Saturday morning - we really had a great time !!
Brady Gerig: Learn to curl was way more fun than I thought it would be! Totally hooked now.
Rick Brown: After talking for years about wanting to try curling, my wife and I finally started looking into actually doing it. This place was fantastic! Great people, very patient at teaching us the game, and lots of fun! The guys there were funny and it was easy to have a good time with them. One thing: while watching the Winter Olympics, I will never ever again say the curling teams aren't athletes! Yikes!
Tamara Lickey: So much fun! A great night of learning something new!
Karen Sorg: Here for a tournament.
Jessica Jobe: SO MUCH FUN! Craig and the crew were great teachers. My friends and I had an absolute blast. We will be back!
Bryson Robuck: We went for my birthday/fiancé's graduation and had a great experience. Would definitely go again
Bryan Pehlke: Myself and my group had such a fantastic experience, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We learned so much in a short span of time and had so much fun learning it. I would totally do it again. I would highly recommend for any group or individual looking to try curling. The full bar is also nice.
Kenan Alibegovic: Never curled before, easily the best time I've had in a while since COVID hit. They've modified their club to maintain social distancing and required masks, so I felt very safe. Otherwise, there's 4 lanes, a lot of skilled curling people willing to help you, and lost of fun to be had. I highly recommend trying with a group!
Chris Scott: I've been playing at the Fort Wayne Curling Club for two rookie seasons. My friends and I always have a blast, and everybody there is extremely friendly!
Lee Hoffmeier: Awesome family atmosphere, feels like home. I'm not a curler, yet but I've attended events here and all members are very welcoming. The new location is excellent, clean and spacious. I love the new decor in there too! I highly recommend booking an event there or trying out the Learn to Curls.
Cathy Tillotson: Friendly atmosphere, fun to curl, reasonable rates $20 for learning 6:30-9 pm, rookie league 6 weeks 6:30-9 pm wed $110. Has a full bar inexpensive beer, drink holders while you curl, a large community viewing room, 4 sheets, all equipment provided, safety concerns explained and it was a lot of Fun👍
Lynn Kies: Best thing about Fort Wayne. Best thing about Indiana. I made the best memories here and love this place and wonderful people that curl here!
Chad Bennett: What a cool hidden gem in fort wayne. There is a full size curling facility with regulation equipment. There are many different leagues and classes for people of all skill levels. They even have special times for people with disabilities. Everyone there was very friendly. You can rent equipment if needed and the website is very informative for times of classes. It's a little chilly in the actual curling area, so you may want to bring warm items like a hat and gloves. Similar temp to an indoor ice skating rink. Another bonus is the bar! You can have beer and cocktails and a really good time. I highly recommend checking this place out.
Mark and Andrea Wager: Super fun! We signed up for the "Learn to curl" session. We had a blast. It was $20 for about 2.5 hrs of curling (including orientation, training, and play.)It is accessible for all ages and skill levels. They provide rubber shoe-covers to keep you from slipping. You can even use a stick (like shuffle board) if you can't bend/kneel. Really helpful and friendly volunteers!! You will be glad you played (curled)!
Cassy White: Great for all skill levels abd the owners are auper friendly, informative and helpful
Bob Bellamy: Always a great time!
Jeff Bockelman: Fort Wayne has its own dedicated curling club. Three sheets of ice to curl on and a full bar. Sign up for a learn to curl session and see for yourself how much fun it is.
