Then, she went above and beyond to make sure she did everything in her power to resolve an issue that she had nothing to do with. I really appreciate the time and effort she took when she didn’t have to. It’s refreshing to see people who care about their job and their customers!

Karla Olvera: Chase Bank required me to come back tomorrow because they didn't have the cash for today's withdrawal. The Mgr (Amy) preferred inconveniencing me to come back vs waiving the $8 check fee. Even when I explained the many trips the bank made me make to correct their own mistakes over the past (because they wouldn't correct them via call) wasn't enough of an appeal to keep me as customer.

Grant Crawford: I was extremely disappointed to learn that this Chase location does not accept coins unless they are pre-rolled. And they say they do not have a coin counter I find this absolutely ridiculous as they are a bank and paper money isn’t the only form of currency in the United States let alone foreign currency exchanges but that’s besides the point. And for the bank teller I spoke to to say that she didn’t know of any coin counters at any chase locations but not actually look up that information and be able to help me with my request as long time chase customert this was again very disappointing

Tellers, don't share these stars!ATM didn't dispense money, but took the money from my account anyway. Went inside Branch, they said the money wasn't put back in my account like it should have been. They told me to call the number on the back of my card.. I went out to the car and did as I was told. I was on hold for 30 min 16 sec when the call was dropped. Frustrated I called again, put on hold. Meanwhile I went into the branch again to see if I could speak with a manager, was told that it wouldn't help and that I could only call to have it resolved. Was on hold again for 45 min and 30 sec before the call was dropped...again.I should not be spending my time over a mistake that was made by the bank/atm. I spent over an hour of my time on the phone, in addition to typing this message to them (and copying it to my this review). Not to mention the frustration that comes along with this. I am the customer. A teller, assistant, or manager should have been on the phone to deal with this, not me. I drove the half hour home with no money in my wallet. After this is cleared up I have to make another trip to town just to get the cash. (Request: Please put in a Chase ATM in Huntington, IN)If I make a mistake in my addition and something bounces in my account I don't expect the bank to spend hours trying to get ahold of me. I know they'll charge me over $30 and call it a win. So I'd like to charge them $30 for the mistake, $20 for the gas and what the heck, I'd like to not pay the $12 monthly maintenance fee. Then I'll consider the issue resolved.OH and also give back the $500 that was taken from my account.Update: Next day, my Saturday. Was on the phone and reached a person after 20 minutes. He basically said I'd have to wait a couple days for MY $500 in case I am a liar. He said that they'd have to send someone out to the ATM and that would take a couple days, when the Teller already said she put a ticket in for the ATM to be looked at.He saw there was an error code on the transaction, two other people in line for the ATM went inside the bank to tell them there was a problem. Seems like someone could have put a note on our accounts at the bank when we went in.Big banks should have a better system than this. No accountability.

WHY LET SOMEONE HOLD YOUR MONEY IF THEY AREN'T WILLING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION?Corporate told me a year ago, they would reach out to them and address this issue. Tried calling them again today, same replay and corporate cant contact them as no one is answering.The corporate representative told me Chase no long has notary services which took me 30 minutes to figure out because of problem above. Then, they transfer me to someone else who says Chase does do notary, it's just specific branches.Greedy bank, don't want to work for you, just want your money.

Scott Jewett: They have always been helpful and friendly and mostly have low wait times.
Little Bean: Very friendly workers. They greet you when you enter and if there is a wait they ask you if you want any coffee or water. They are very helpful when you meet with a banker and they answer every question you could possibly have. 10/10 service at this location.
Lizzy Puttmann: Last Saturday my boyfriend and I walked in to open a joint checking account. We were told the only banker in that day was completely booked. However, a female employee told me that because I already had an account with them, that I would be able to set up the new one and "pre-authorize" my boyfriend. She said after that he would have 30 days to come into the bank with his ID and he could be added to the account. I set it all up online and spent a half an hour searching for this option. I get fed up, I call chase customer service to see if they can tell me how to do it and they tell me, she basically lied to me and that that has never been an option. So annoying, like, why lie?? Just posting this here in case she's telling other people that. Don't waste your time and just book a meeting with the banker.

Nelson M: Landmark reviewIs this a one star bank, I don't think so, but it is definitely not a 5 star experience. Our first visit was on a Thursday night 1 hour prior to closing. The place was super busy and they told me that without an appointment there is no way they could start up a new account that day. I asked about the following two days and they said they did not have any availability either so we went with the following week. When we returned at 4pm on a Tuesday, there was barely anyone there. I did not receive a reminder call about the upcoming visit. The whole experience took 1 hour to set up the checking and savings account. I am impressed by the 600 dollar credit that I can get if I get direct deposit and place at least 15k for 90 days. They did not have any of the free size safety deposit box, but the account manager was nice enough to check down the street and confirm that was available. Overall, I try to limit my bank visits and do most of my banking online. One tip would be to avoid going near closing.
Manohar N. C.: Zero Star if i can give one. I have an account in Chase Bank and i wanted to refer a friend of mine and took him to open a checking account. My friend moved to US couple of month ago and wanted a bank checking account for getting paid from my employer. He was yet getting settled and getting all the required document required. The manager here did not even care to check what kind of document he has. The manager just wanted documents which she knew and never suggested what alternate documents can be produced. Never ever seen such a bank manager in my life. We went straight to PNC bank without an appointment, with whatever document we had that day, and within an hour my friend's account was opened. I will not recommend this branch to anybody.
Tina Boger: I live in FL and do banking at Chase several times a week. I have an account at Chase that is a for C Corp I run. I deposit at least a hundred checks a week with my business name on them. Not the Corp name.This bank would not deposit my check. I had proper ID and have several other accounts at Chase.Doing business elsewhere is being discussed. Ridiculous.

Joshua Cain: Called to inquire about loans and after informing me they didn’t do the type of loan I was asking about the lady said bye and hung up. Didn’t ask if I had other questions, needed anything else or even have a nice day. Never experienced this type of rudeness from a bank before. I’ll be switching to Three Rivers Credit Union after this. They are more for the people there and I should have switched long ago.
Isaiah Sawron: Made a order for a replacement debit card through them because mine was stolen, two weeks have now gone by without my card then I had to pay a 5$ fee for them to reorder and ship a new card out fast, I have autopay bills that need payed and this has caused me late fee’s.

L: I have had the same bank account for 30 years with what is now Chase. During the pandemic, Chase has taken $12 fee out of my account for not having enough funds deposited into my account. They have refunded some fees, but why would they be charging customers during a pandemic??? I have been sick, my household has been struggling, but Chase is just a corporation that doesn’t care about lifelong customers. Chase only cares about making more money for corporate. I originally signed a bank account contract that stated I wouldn’t be charged monthly service fees. Chase can’t find my paperwork and doesn’t care to look for it. I’m canceling my bank account finally. My fiancé will be as well. This is a new era with plenty of new banking companies that do not punish their customers for going through a hard time in life. I will be sure to spread this information to as many of my friends and family members as I can. People are tired of being treated terribly by large corporations like Chase.
Roki Ya: I went to withdraw money but the ladies didn’t give me the full amount of moneys as I ask and left some. And she didn’t even count the cash. So I came back home and count it but some of the cash is left with her. As soon as I noticed that there’s some cash missing, I rush to the bank as soon as I could. When she saw me she didn’t tell me that she has some cash left with her but ask me how can I help you so I told her the money that she gave me is not a full amount that I withdraw than she was like oh yeah I was forgot and didn’t give you the other half. She told me that she thought I was gonna come back and get it or she will put it back to my account. But the cash is with her still. I am Asian so she thought she could try to lie to me.

Made an appointment with a banker and had to drive an hour to this location which was the closest. They changed the day and time to a day earlier then canceled at the last minute as I was driving to appointment. Complete waste of time, energy, and gas.

I only banked with Chase because I was making a cross-country move and needed a bank with locations on each end of my move.What a colossal mistake this was.At this location, I did usually receive courteous service from tellers, which was NOT my experience at other local branches. Read: St Mary's and Washington Square. But that's another story.However, when I went in to close my savings and checking accounts at the downtown branch recently, Michelle, who identified herself as the manager, failed to actually close EITHER account. She did some scribbling on a piece of paper, and came up with a total amount of my funds on deposit in both accounts. She then filled out 2 withdrawal slips that should have equalled my total funds on deposit, and had the teller issue me a cashier's check in the total amount. Or so I thought.I received NO other paperwork stating my accounts were closed - not even withdrawal receipts. I questioned her on this, as I've never closed accounts at any bank ever - where there was no closing paperwork to fill out. But Michelle assured me this was how they did it.So off I went with my cashier's check to deposit at my new bank, thinking my dealing with Chase was done.But nope. Today I received a notice that my account was overdrawn. Account? What account? I just closed those.Now Chase says they have no manager at all at the downtown Fort Wayne branch, and a lead teller has informed me that neither account was properly closed. But that was the good news. The bad news is that Michelle's math was wrong, and they issued me a cashier's check for MORE THAN I HAD ON DEPOSIT! As in $300.00 more. How is that even possible? Shouldn't their system have flagged that?After giving me the cashier's check, I didn't even get receipts for the transaction - which apparently was done in two parts, with withdrawals made from each account.And the story's not over, as I can't even get contact information for an area manager and have nothing but a phone number for a branch whose manager may be taking over the downtown branch.The moral of the story? Just say "NO" to Chase.
Paul Nieto: Everyone there has always been nice to me. They also have 2 ATMs, one inside and another one on the west side. You can also get things notarized there. It is free if you are customer.Once I lost my wallet, and since they knew who I was, since they had seem me there before, they allowed me to take $100 from my checking. This allowed me to pay parking, pay for a new badge, and get things together until my new debit card and credit cart came by mail. It was a HUGE help.Also, if you get an Amazon/Chase credit card, you get 2% back at grocery stores and gas stations, 3% back at amazon or 5% if you are a prime member, and 1% on all else.

Having been a Chase customer for the last few years, this branch has a great personal banking presence as well as a Business Relationship Manager--one you need for Business Banking and wealth management.Bradford Ziebell is the BRM at the downtown branch, and he was quick and proficient in all our dealings in the past and so he was the go-to guy for the ink Preferred. The application process was easy and Bradford facilitated the process by assisting with relevant information and ensuring I had the appropriate documents in order prior to submitting the application.This year, as well as last year, Bradford kept me apprised of the application process, even going so far as to let me know I was approved, right as the Chase corporate e-mailed.I chose Bradford and the downtown Chase branch because they are friendly, go the extra mile and care that I have a good experience as a Chase customer.

On a whim I called to see if there was anything Chase could do to help us out. Less than 30 seconds later REVERSED!! THIS IS WHY CHASE HAS BEEN MY BANK FOR OVER 17 YEARS!! MICHAEL BURTON: My family has been dealing with Mark M.,and Rick G. For a couple of years at this location, and we couldn’t be more pleased. They make banking/investing an easy experience, and couldn’t have been more helpful at the time of my fathers passing.......would recommend either of these gentlemen to anyone needing their expertise !
Josef Holmes-Ploor: Just spent 40 minutes waiting in the drive-thru behind 2 people. I was there to return a money order I ended up not needing, which they wouldn't refund the $5 fee for. Then after driving away realized they didnt give me my debt card back. So I had to drive back and go in anyway. Not even a simple acknowledgement of the inconvenience. We're switching banks. We've been banking with Chase for 13 years, we get no benefits and now we don't even get basic timely service or courtesy.
Charlene: I'm a regular at this location, for business and my personal accounts. The people are always friendly and knowledgeable. Good experiences all around.
Voltron: I went in to get three months of bank statements . I had to listen about the weather and somebody personal life instead of helping customers. I prolly won't come back to this chase bank . If it happens much more I will leave this bank .
Claire Chapin: Need funds right away for traveling overseas. Teller told me there is not enough cash bill at their branch to give me, need to place an order. Promised will call back early next week, didnt hear a thing. Then I called back, teller lied said it was the week after. I am leaving this weekend!. So crazy, a bank branch don't have enough money to give to client while I have enough fund on my account!!!! Is is a bank?!?!!?!?

Sarah Franjesevic: I've never had an bad thing to say about this bank. We switched to Chase when we moved to Indiana just over 3 years ago. They were very accommodating and it's never taken us too long to get things done when we've gone in. They've always been very helpful and friendly whenever we needed assistance. They have even gone above and beyond to refund service fees that were mistakes on OUR part. Nothing but good things from us. Although I wish they did have a free checking account without a minimum amount. It would be nice to use one as a learning experience for our children when they are old enough to start saving money in the bank.

Antonio D'Archangel: The atm is the only useful thing here. They don't carry cash inside and have no tellers. This location is almost useless. Just come for the atm not your banking needs.

Tiffany Strahm: Warning Do Not Use ATM!!!! They took money out of our account and then didn’t give us the cash! At the bottom of the receipt it stated sorry we can’t give cash at this time! Are you kidding me?! Then I call they said I had to make a dispute with my bank that could take up to 7-10 business days! Chase bank SUCKS......quick to take money that isn’t theirs but slow to return it!!!

playlist fave: My husband called to see if he could bring some pennies there to cash them in. He told the lady that they weren't rolled. She said yes, no problem. So he walks over there & is on a walker and some young guy with a nasty attitude tells him that he won't take them because they're not rolled. I don't know if he was on a power trip or everyone needs more training or what the problem is but there is definitely a problem that needs to be fixed here before you make people who are handicapped make a wasted trip for nothing.
