Marissa Ridley: The library itself is decent but it’s loud because people let their kids play super loudly and the staff doesn’t do anything about it. Every time I come here it’s super loud. If you are expecting to study, go somewhere else. You won’t be able to concentrate.

Jim Brickley: It has books plus audiobooks, it has conference rooms you can check out and use. It has a great kids section of books and seating. It has all sorts of newspapers and magazines. It has videos and DVDs that you can check out as well. With a library card you can also access the internet.

George Snyder: My wife and I stopped in at Dupont library this afternoon. It's a very clean library very new looking as well. It has convenient parking with lots of space. The librarian was very helpful and polite.My wife and I have been checking out the area library's book and magazine sale racks. They have a small area with used books and magazines for just $0.25 My wife found a few books and magazines and we had a very nice visit at the DuPont library.

Gayle Fick: This is my nearest branch and I use it for picking up and returning books I have on hold only. I will occasionally see what's on the "new" shelves, but since the dispicable culling of the system wide collection a few years ago resulting fewer book fixtures, the place seems empty and inadequate. If I want to browse the shelves or hang out then I go to the main library downtown
Angela Sartiano: I used to volunteer here when I was in high school and I thought the old women acted like high school mean girls. I had a splinter once in my finger and no one wanted to help me and was acting like I was bleeding all over. Also, it's a library job. Stop acting like you're CEOs. They're so immature. One lady there still has the same job over 15 years later. That's pathetic to me. Plus, during COVID-19, none of the staff wore masks or cleaned up the tables enough, but would go off on people who didn't wear masks due to medical reasons who came in. It also costs too much for faxing and printing.

George Snyder: My wife and I stopped in at the Aboite Branch library on Coventry this afternoon. Typical neighborhood as I remember it there was a fancy car parked in the handicapped spot with no handicap license or rear view mirror tag. Lots of important people that like to park right up front in this neck of the woods. The library itself was very clean and the librarian was very polite and we had a very nice visit. This library includes itself with almost all the others with a 25 cent book sale on going where my wife and I picked up a few books and magazines for our stop and we were very pleased.

Gordon Londini: The Allen county public library is one of the best library systems in the country. They have a good mobile app to assist with all of the functions the library provides. Allen county public library has one of the best genealogy departments in the country. The main branch is an amazing building and provides many services and the branches all excellently perform their function as satellite library facilities.

George Snyder: My wife and I stopped in at Shawnee public library this afternoon. It is a beautiful old building very unique. It is half sunk in the ground and you have to walk down steps to get into it. The librarian was very helpful to us and polite this afternoon and we had a wonderful time visiting Shawnee Branch. We picked up a few books and magazines all for a quarter a piece, five for a dollar from their book sale rack.

A room dedicated to public 3D printers & a sound booth. Literally one of the best places to explore your family history in the US. A local TV broadcasting studio. A HUGE children's section with so many activities to keep your little ones occupied. And so much more.

Andrew Clodfelter: I never thought I'd say this, but move over Netflix, the Allen County Public Library is the new king of entertainment. This place has everything - books, movies, video games, and even a puppet theater (yes, you read that right). I mean, who needs a night out on the town when you can spend an evening with a good book and a puppet show? And let's talk about the staff. They're like superheroes, answering any question you throw their way and finding the book you didn't even know you needed. Plus, the atmosphere is so cozy, I could stay there all day (and sometimes I do). So, if you're looking for a fun-filled adventure without leaving the comfort of your hometown, the Allen County Public Library is the place to be.

There are self checkouts and they are easy to use. Also, if you have any questions or problems, again the staff is willing to help.

George Snyder: My wife and I stopped in at the Georgetown public library on East State this afternoon. This is a very cool place. You can go inside now, the restrictions are not as high as what they were. Always a pleasant experience at this location.
Darkest Love: Helpful, friendly staff. I stopped in close to closing but they were still happy to help me. I love this location. Easy to find everything I need and the staff are always friendly. Too bad I moved across town or I'd go back more often. I love the late hours too! And the section in the back with its own room (I think it's honestly the then section) always has the fantasy books I'm looking for!

Sarah Schroeder: This might be our favourite branch of ACPL. Tecumseh branches is one of the best kid-friendly libraries I've been to since Covid. Tecumseh branch had a sitting area for kids, sticker road and town on the floor. Stickers of animal footprints leading to kids area. I also found great books for my kids. Staff at the checkout were very friendly, and one showed us her new educational toy that explains the stages of the butterfly and we also talked about dinosaurs.
William Z: The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I always need help with computer problems and the staff always bawls me out. Going to miss this place when I move to the Lake.
George Snyder: Stopped in at Tecumseh Branch library on State Street. It looks like they have a parking lot that's really small but actually there's a parking lot on both sides of the building.They're letting you go inside the library again. My wife and I stopped in and right inside the door they have a shelf with books and magazines for sale which is pretty cool. They were marked at $0.25 a piece, wow! We spent 50 cents for two books.They might be the least crowded library. I could be wrong but they never seen that crowded. It could be the time of day when we go in.It's a cool designed building the staff is always friendly. The building always seems clean. Great neighborhood place.

Cindy Lee: they have a lot of books and individual family histories people have donated. COVID has changed a lot of things everywhere. tuesday i am greeted and told to leave my books on the table for reshelving then Saturday i am told put them in the wood carts. not able to schedule an orientation or a consultation the week i was there but they did email me a map. spacious and clean. you do hear a lot of crying children from another section. small public parking lot accomodated me each day - $7.00.

Dave Schubert: A very impressive collection. The 2nd floor genealogy library is comparable to the world class family history library in Salt Lake City. Literally more than a million books in this building. They are also open until 9:00 P.M. which make this place very accessible for everyone interested in tracing their family history. Five Stars well earned!
