Neighborhood Code Enforcement: what do users think?
Jacob Caudill: They operate under Arbitrary for how much; t affect homeowners. Lost my house when I was a kid paid 3k in code fines to buy my childhood home then they dont communicate after I got my new house up to code and instead put another 2500 on my taxes and gave me no appeal.
Kacey0811: just 0 starts just know if someone reports your vehicle they will not abide to 90.02...the Abandoned vehicle code they enforce. you will spend weeks trying to talk to someone about a wrongly taged car to get no responses no matter how many different people they transfer you to. They never answers and never call back.
Nick Staker: Great Experience. We owned an investment property that had several code violations (siding, roof, garage issues, etc). The inspector from the county was very prompt and courteous, willing to rearrange his schedule to meet me at the house numerous times. We had a hearing with the county and it went better than expected. They gave us more than enough time to fix the home. We had another hearing, the house was not done, and again, they gave us more time. They were very fair and easy to work with.
Patricia Sanford: Zero stars. So disappointed. They want to harras people trying to improve there homes. Then people who live like pigs get away with it. They would rather demolish someone's home after a fire then give them time to repair it after they lost everything. I hope karma comes to those enforcing harrassment and bullying by the city.
Ruben Gastelum: They can’t ever answer the phone iv been on the phone gone trump to get someone to answer for 15 min!!crazy
Steven Trabel: I am also having issues with Eisaman, however in my case I cannot get code enforcement to actually enforce any codes. I have holes in my soffits which have allowed a raccoon into the attic. This raccoon has caused holes in my ceiling by walking between the rafters. I have been trying to get Eisaman to address this issue since May. On June 23 they told me they were getting bids for the work. It is now August 7 and they informed city code today that they will be getting bids to start the work. Greg Brown at city code states "As long as their response included some action and a plan to make the repairs, I'm not going to start a case." I have a feeling these people would be more concerned if this were their home. I guess only those with big money deserve to be protected by the agency that is funded by all of our tax dollars.
Rachel Ferson: Saying my car was in the way/on the side walk when it wasn't even close to the side walk ...and they won't do anything about other people that parks there cars on the sidewalk.
Abbey Robinson: I'm not sure who I could write a complaint to, so I'm just going to write this review. Last year I rented from Eisaman Property Management, which I do not recommend either. I had come home from work one day to find my house boarded up with no note or phone call as to the reason why, come to find out that Neighborhood Code had claimed my house was vacant, even though my door was securely shut and locked, and they gave the go ahead for Eisaman to board up my house, which by the way is illegal without a court order. I think people should know about this. They cannot be trusted.

W.: Why don't you address the issue of trains completely stopping on Taylor regularly in the mornings? That takes approximately 30 mins to clear out and people have places to be in the mornings...work, kids to school, whatever.I'm guessing if it ran through your precious downtown then something would have been done already.Let's spend money on magic fountains that nobody cares about, but let the roads clog as they will.Do you people even listen to what citizens say? There is more to Fort Wayne than the downtown area.Oh, could we see a patrol car in the 46803 area BEFORE shots are fired? That is, if they aren't too busy sitting behind that building on Wallace chatting? They could at least respond to some of the preventative calls that people make.
HaystersIsDaddy: Best city
Prince Carrington: Hopefully we keep going and we grow big plans
Fixers Inc: Good not great
diana martz: I am so very thankful that our Tom Henry is once again Mayor for another 4 years. I think he should also be given the 'man of the year' award. Now that the election is over, he can get back to work making our City even better.
Sara Comb: Center for Behavioral Health is a legal Heroin (opioid) House. They do not promote getting off of drugs (been on Methadone for over 5 years now. They hook you on Methadone (Opioid) and they continue to raise you to the point of no return. They even have blockers so you can not use any other Opioid (keeping you dependent to their Methadone), While there was no set amount of time I’ll take methadone to treat my addiction, the center say's it should be at least a year, and maybe more than that. I started at 20mg, I am now over 100mg everyday and dependant on it. You are charged every day....NO MONEY..NO DOPE!!! I will steal to get the money! I have too!!! Where is our government now? Please help others before they get hooked, it's aweful. $15 a day = $5,475.00 a year.
Lynn: I’d love to know who approved construction on 3 roads leaving a subdivision, Stratford Forest, off Bass Road? Has anyone considered where/how emergency help can get in???Bass Road going east CLOSED. Hadley Road going south CLOSED. Bass going west CLOSED. Where will help come from, the sky?
