Douglas Lindamood: The leasing process was easy, and the delivery and pickup were on time and done quickly.Unfortunately, the unit wasn’t functioning properly and required repairs, costing us two days of shuffling and delaying product. When the repairs were completed, we began using the unit, only to find the temperature fluctuated from around 25 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit. This resulted in over $700.00 of products being ruined, and limited how we could use the unit.I own a retail florist and have rented refrigerated units for 20 years (for Valentines Day and Mother’s Day). This is the first time I’ve used Polar Leasing and the only time I’ve had a bad experience.For a$4,000.00, 12-day rental, this was an extreme disappointment.We’ll never make this mistake again, and I hope this review helps others avoid it.

During delivery my equipment was dented and scratched and interior refrigerator rack brackets were broken and they would do nothing about it. My convection oven is less than three years old and had to have a new part put in that cost almost $400. And now my brand new refrigerator that I bought needs a new control board at the price of $400. Of course just out of warranty. They are selling brands that are junk! Per the service professionals, they work on these brands constantly. Next time I purchase a piece of equipment I will be consulting with the company that fixes restaurant Equipment and find out what brand they never have to work on! I guarantee it will be a brand that Atlas restaurant supply carries

czarnoff: They had what I wanted for a price I was willing to pay. I had gone to several other places and not found what I wanted. It seems like a good place to get equipment for not only restaurants, but also church and club events also. It might also be worth a browse before Thanksgiving or large family gatherings.

In an era where middle men are often cut out of the equation, I can’t help but feel that their business model is doomed to fail due to the internet’s ability to purchase equivalent products direct from the source.
