Salena Golden: Highly disappointed I have been a customer here for over 10-15 yrs my experience yesterday was nothing short of disgusted! The doctor didn't test the contacts in my eyes before check out. Walked me up front and mind you I cannot see I drove up there with no glasses or contacts in my eyes and these people want to check me out and pay and I still cannot see. I literally had to ask for my trials the girl was so rude! That after 10 plus yrs of my loyalty as a customer they lost my business yesterday.
Addison Barrett: Mason did an amazing job helping me pick out frames and figuring out what would work best for me! He has great customer skills and was very welcoming and kind!

Amber Afarin: I do not even know how this place has a 3.4 star rating...If I could I would give it 0 stars.The exam was so basic that I could have done it myself at home (such as "what's the smallest line I could read", "what number(s) do I see in the colors"). I spent more time waiting for my scheduled exam then the actual exam took, and the bigger irony was that not only did the "tech", if you could call her that, do more than the actual optometrist, but she even said she was new and didn't know what and how to do everything which I am guessing why the exam was ridiculously basic. Furthermore, the whole time I was there the optometrist and rest of the staff was more concerned with trying to sell me "packages", additional exams (one of which was a glaucoma screening which should have been included in the exam I was there to get since it was covered under my insurance), and other products I did not even need (like the optometrist telling me I need to get glasses with bifocals with UV protection and finding out from gal checking me out that I did not need prescription glasses and could use reading glasses as necessary, So basically, not only was it a complete waste of time, but I ended getting screwed by these people since they did not perform the full eye exam that my insurance covers but the worst is that my insurance will only pay for one vision exam per year....so it will won't be until October 18, 2023 before I can get a real eye exam by a professional optometrist who is not looking just to see how much they can con me into getting un-necessary packages, additional exams, or products I don't need or should be included to begin with.
Paul Goodridge: Dr was great! When I went in to pick up my glasses was a different story. Mgr. was short and ready to leave or something. I then was told that I have a $40 something balance after I paid for my glasses in full at the time of my exam. Caught me off guard and actually was very embarrassed and humiliated in front of other patrons and employees. Mgr ended up agreeing to let me just pay the balance next week when I get paid. I will find my receipt and this will be continued. This could/should have been handled differently.
Mary Deaver: The General Manager (Josh) is highly professional. We had an extremely difficult situation and his efficiency not only made the situation feel manageable, but also made us feel well taken care of. The customer service in my opinion cannot be matched. Very Sus: Customer service just plain sucks at this location! After calling for an appointment was told that they are booked and can’t make any appointments. No help with getting any replacement contacts. Just told to find another place! Apparently you don’t want any remaining patients for your new doctor!

I took my daughters 2 pairs in to get the warranty before it expired the First Lady I dealt with kept arguing the glasses I had where from a long time ago mind you my daughters vision only got worse from 2019 to her last check up in 2021 she acted like she couldn’t help me and a guy in there was rude as well till Katelyn and another nice lady fixed the problem and actually listened to me and fixed the problem I can’t thank those girls enough!!

No one called me to let me know the contacts came in. Ok fine, I called to check the status. On my way to work I stopped to try to get things finalized. They had no doctor in. Their professionalism is clearly not within those employees. I didn’t have this problem in the past. I will not return.

Mystie Dollarhite: They have the worst ethical standards . I ordered sunglasses and a regular pair of glasses. When receiving my sunglasses, they were the wrong tint. They attempted to fix them but I when I got them back, they were completely messed up.My regular pair of glasses, when receiving them the lady pulled the side part off. She took them to the back to have someone help her fix it. When she brought them back, everything was fine so I thought they were actually fixed. About a month later the side broke again. It looked just like when I picked them up. Frustrated still because of the sunglasses I never took them back in.. I had my old pair that I just have been wearing.I decided to take them back since my daughter needed glasses & I was already going in. The lady informed me that the hinge is completely broken and so they where unable to be fixed. But why I was given a pair that were broken and they pretended to fix when I paid almost 400$!Apparently, I didn’t even have a warranty, even though I was told if anything happened I could bring them back to get them fixed. So there was nothing they could do except to see if there was a pair that my lenses could fit and I could purchase those… I think NOT.Worst possible eye place AND no, I did not end up getting my daughter glasses from here either. I will take my business somewhere with better morals.

They did not smile, make eye contact, or show any interest in me. I was a new customer, but received no welcome.I felt like a bother the entire time I was there. Staff at the front desk seemed stressed, disorganized, and in a hurry.I also waited 10-15 minutes for the eye doctor to see me, and another 15 for the perscription to be written.On the positive side, I received a correct contact lens perscription and free pair of contacts for $89.Overall, I give them 2 stars and will not be going back.
Paula Bogle: Never again will I use this company. "Express" is a joke! I was told next day glasses, ordered 10/5. Not the next day because I wanted anti glare coating. It would be 2wks, called on 10/14, lens were never sent out. I got a call on 10/25 my lens were damaged by the remodeling in building, would be 2-3 more days. Called today 10/27 and now the lens "don't pass inspection" and it will be another week! Never again..

Monte Southward: I have been getting glasses here for 20 years. Have never had a problem. This time I experienced very bad problems. When I received my glasses I had a hard time seeing with them. I returned and complained. They said oh just wait a while and get used to them. Well I knew that was just an excuse to kick the can down the road. After waiting a while I returned complaining I can't see properly. So they sent my glasses in to get different lens, as I think they were having issues with their lens company. After getting back my glasses, the problem still existed. At this time the manager said I probably have cataracts. Another excuse to kick the can down the road. Seems they have many excuses here for all situations. And they would not take care of the glasses until I had cataract surgery. I then went to a Big Box store and purchased reading glasses. Guess what. That healed the cataracts. Amazing!! No surgery. So customers beware. I have seen many more reported of similar problems. Must be a lot of folks with cataract issues. Looks as if I will need an attorney if I want to be able to see properly. I will not be going back to Eye Care Express.

Sean Goddard NP: I have to tell you as a provider I am very disappointed. I scheduled an eye exam and no one advised me I would not actually see a Doctor. Someone digitally signed off on my script. I had to order glasses from a third party as they did not have big enough ones for me. Once they arrived I could not see more than three feet in front of me. I called customer service which ended up being a bunch of folks who could not speak english well. I finally drove into the store. While the young lady there was very nice and helpful she advised me I could come in the next day as a Doctor comes every two weeks. As soon as I walked in with him he said "you know you need bifocals right". I advised something must be wrong but if he knew this before seeing me why did this not get ordered in the first place. After sitting me down and checking the results he said "you are old" you will need to come in every two years to be checked "because you are old". We ordered new replacement lenses and they advised me it would be back within two weeks "but probably sooner. This was 2/18/23. As of today the order status says one pair is delayed and will be ready 3/22. However this is the forth ready date. The second pair says 3/28. I originally got my eye exam in December. I should not have to go four plus months at this rate without my glasses. When I called the store after strongly with customer service that I needed to talk to the local store to get an answer, they advised me that they switched labs and have been having all kinds of issues. So it would appear they subcontract the work out. I can say I will never refer a client to this store.

Struggled with insurance for like an hour while there was another person having the same problem because they have to have your login information for your insurance for some reason? I feel like that’s illegal. And then the doctor rushes everyone through so quick there’s no way he’s doing his job right. My frames are okay I guess but the contacts I got? I was told I paid for A YEAR of contacts and received 6 months of contacts I can’t even see out of. Waste of money. 0/10. Should’ve just tried to find somewhere else that accepted my vision insurance. OH AND I had to go into the store about 5 times before I actually got the HALF of the contacts I was SUPPOSED to receive! NEVER GOING BACK!

No options, no "let me figure out what we can do" just "we dont have those..we cant do that...you need an appointment". Go literally anywhere else than this place.

I bought glasses under the assumption that it would be "same day" as they had advertised on the website and in newspaper ads, for their 2 glasses deal. I went in, got my free (rushed) exam, and was told after I paid to come back in 10 - 14 days, instead of the same day I was promised.Months later, I had an accident with my frame. Every other glasses place nearby and in town do free repairs, I was even offered a free repair by a company I didn't even purchase from. Yet even with the "1 Year Frame Warranty" my glasses cost 25% of the total cost to even repair my frames.Friendly service by everyone up front, but I would highly recommend elsewhere for frames. I can't say anything about their contact services though.

Roy Munguia: Went in pick up my safety glasses, and get my current glasses fixed too. Christy helped me and tried to fix my glasses as best she could. A small screw was sheared and hole was distorted. Christy gave me a temporary fix and recommended a place that could fix my glasses. The customer service at this establishment is second to none. I've been coming here for years and love the care and professionalism that they show for their customers. The workers at Heartland are awesome!

I had called around to several places before calling this place. I’m from out of state and I ran out of contacts so I was trying to find some to buy without having to order them. All the places I called gave me such a hard time about it because I wasn’t their patient, even though I had my prescription with me and was willing to pay cash. I’m a nurse and I work night shift so I was under a ton of pressure to find contacts, go pick them up, then get back home to get some sleep before my next shift tonight. Finally when I reached AICO Optical, I felt so grateful to the soft, sweet and immediate helpful voice on the other end. The interest she showed in helping me made a world of difference! Meijer Optical: what do users think?
Eric Opliger: Had an appointment at Eyecare Express on coliseum (I’ve been going here for years) and basically got pushed out the door so the staff could go home. In a pinch I called Meijer Optical around 5pm and they got me in that night for an eye exam. Got my contacts and glasses ordered for CHEAP. The lady’s there were a ton of help and very friendly. Officially my new spot!

Brett Yeoman: Doctor royally screwed up my prescription. Meijer refused to fix it because it had been 2 months (holidays, a sick partner, full timeschool and work make it hard to find time). On top of Meijer refusing to replace my lenses, they told me I was no longer covered by my insurance, which I checked 5 minutes later, and still am. Quite upset with this place and will never recommend it to others.

Had to bite my tongue when Cyndi would walk by...but still sitting here. May unbite it soon.
Limit: Don't go here. 3 weeks later I still don't have my glasses. Called them twice and I was told they had shipped, Still not here, asked them to track the shipment. Called next day to find out the glasses were never made at the lab. I was just told they had been sent out. Save the headache don't go here.
connie fedorow: First time at this Walmart. Customer service staff is lazy. One who calls her self office manager, don't know what she is doing. Had to my glasses don't twice after 2 times seeing the doctor. Office manager tried to fix my glasses, had to get a replacement frame, she scratched my lens, and the rope was hanging out the side. When she brought them back she wasn't going to tell me about the scratches nor the rope. And after having a stroke, her so called adjustments caused me problems. I went back to get a refund, and explained it all to her. Got my refund and went else where.
Katie Martin: This vision center is horrible. I refuse to return after multiple frustrations with them. The ladies like to talk and have a lot of fun that work there. Too much. They are negligent with their patients and take their sweet time. The ladies need to look and act more professional. I witnessed one of the women not washing their hands before doing my contact exam and touching my eye contact. Very unprofessional.
