Connor Gemlick: Best wedding DJ I have ever seen, and he was for my own wedding. The entire process was smooth and straight forward. You do 2 meetings and a very in depth document going over every detail of the day to ensure it goes perfectly. Chris goes through the rehearsal with you and makes sure everyone knows what to do when for the reception. He was great at keeping the flow and knows what the people want at a wedding. He was a fantastic DJ and knows when to play what songs, great feel of the crowd to keep the party alive and well.

Unique situation with a bus for 40 people, no dance floor, and limited equipment made it a challenge, but was no match for Chris. We had the bus for 1 hour, and it was definitely a highlight of the trip. Multiple people commented about how Chris was watching everyone to make sure they were enjoying themselves, how he has mastered the craft of mixing songs perfectly, and how they couldn't wait to attend another event with Chris providing the music. My daughter was so impressed, she wants Get Up To Get Down to come to Florida for her wedding!

These gentleman did it all including guiding everyone through the perfect timing for the wedding procession to the reception entrance introductions!!! Not only did they make an amazing playlist to keep the party going all night, they set up a schedule for the reception events (introductions, speeches, dances, etc.) so we did not have to worry about it ahead of time and kept to it to ensure everything was right on time and flowed throughout the night, they played requests almost immediately, they had an impressive set of lights to give the dance party the right mood, as well as having a nice setup so it hid most of the equipment and did not throw off the feel of the reception, and most of all they were super cooperative with all wants/needs of the couple and emailed back very quickly! I highly recommend them to anyone getting married or having any kind of event. I will definitely be using Three Rivers Entertainment for my wedding reception and any event I plan in the future!!

We had asked for a not-too well known cover as our cake cutting song and I was expecting it to be the wrong version. When the song started playing and it was the exact version we asked for I got way too excited! He got the vibe of our reception right away and there was not a dull part of the night! My only complaint is that the music was TOO good and I couldn’t get off the dance floor!! Absolutely worth the investment and if I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would!

Jacob O'Dell: I'm not sure if this was an off day for them, but our experience with Alomar seems vastly different from all the five-star reviews I've seen. The ceremony itself went fine and the DJ (Jason, I believe) was great at communicating with everyone. He followed his cues perfectly and there were no issues. Everything seemed fine until the actual reception started.With the announcement at the start of the reception, the song for the bride and groom's announcement did not start playing until they had almost reached their table. It was a small slip, but problems continued from there. The bride and groom provided Alomar with a specific playlist prior to the wedding that was almost 6 hours long - long enough that it would have lasted the entire reception and then some. However, this playlist did not get played. At least three people on separate occasions asked the DJ if they had received the playlist, knowing the songs which had been played were nowhere on it. Each time, he patted something on his area and said, "Yup, I've got it right here. I should be able to get through most of it." And then he went back to ignoring the playlist. He did not actually start playing anything from it until the groom went over and asked, to which he finally did start playing it, but only a few songs and not the explicit versions which the couple had requested. If there was a problem with the playlist, that problem should have been discussed ahead of time. Instead, the DJ essentially went rogue until enough people asked him to stick to the script and then switched it back and thought people wouldn't notice.However, worse than not playing the requested playlist was the behavior of the DJ when people started talking to him after the groom talked to him. The DJ cussed out multiple guests when they requested songs or asked why he had gone back to not playing the playlist. I understand getting frustrated after a long day of working, but that's simply not acceptable in any industry, let alone one where personal interactions are so common.I wouldn't be so hyperbolic as to say the wedding was ruined by the poor DJ experience in this case. Lots of people still had a good time, but there is the feeling that they could have had a much better time had the DJ stuck to the songs which were requested. At the end of the day, though, Alomar was contracted and paid to provide a service. Failing to play the previously agreed upon playlist ultimately represents a failure to provide that service. If you are going to ignore the playlist, do not request it, as you are creating the expectation that the playlist will actually be played. And even if the playlist had been followed, cussing out several wedding guests simply crosses a line. That kind of behavior is unacceptable. Again, maybe it was just a bad night for them, but their bad night was someone else's big night, a once-in-a-lifetime experience which they won't get back. To say I am sincerely disappointed with this service is an understatement.TL;DR - ceremony was fine, didn't play requested playlist despite multiple requests, cussed out several guests.Update: Shortly after this review was posted, Alomar called the bride and groom (the day after their wedding) to complain about this review which they did not write. A professional response would have been to reach out to the reviewer and find out what went wrong and why they had that experience. A little communication goes a long way, and if this would have happened, there's a good chance this rating would have gone up without prompting. But the overly aggressive reaction to this review (and towards the couple, who had nothing to do with it being posted) simply cemented my previous opinion.
