Tami Hoagland: JC at File Savers was AMAZING! I called about 5 minutes before close because my external drive filled with 10 years of photos froze and I was devastated at the thought of losing all those memories. JC stayed on the phone with me explaining their process and my options answering all my questions - for close to half-an-hour. I chose the economy option and sent my drive out. Because I was going to be worked in as time permitted, I really didn’t expect to hear from File Savers until they started processing my drive. That wasn’t the case. JC updated me every week on the status of my drive, reassuring me that I had made the right decision to send my drive to them for recovery. When JC called to let me know they had moved my drive to recovery and that it looked like they were going to be able to recover nearly 99% of my data, JC genuinely shared my excitement! Katelynn C: Was quoted over the phone for a diagnostic run for $0. Confirmed the location with who scheduled my appointment. I arrived and they told me I was at the wrong location and stated that the diagnostic charge would be $100. They spoke with the manager and said they could lower it to $80. I laughed and said I'd be going to A+ Computers. He said that over the phone quotes are inaccurate.. so why give them. Don't waste your time.

There was literally live wire exposed in my vehicle when I got it back. I highly recommend you don’t go to this geek squad. Maybe the other one in town is good but not this one.

Laurel Podgorski: Brought my laptop in for a simple fix, so I thought. The hinge was broken, but it was still functioning and running fine. Was told in store that it would be 30 days at the most to fix, after sending it to the service center. During this time, they never updated the status of the repair on the website. They finally called me after three weeks and told me that they could fix it and that the part was in stock. Another three weeks go by and the website said - good news your computer has been shipped back. I get a call from the Apple Glen store to say that they never fixed the computer - after 6 weeks. So they lied when they said they had the part because they never got the part. My computer was never fixed, in fact it was in worse condition when it was returned to me. The screen was literally hanging on by a cord and running so slow it is unusable. In the store they never apologized, and told me to call 1800-geek-squad. Terrible customer service. Terrible service. I am now out a computer that was only 2 years old.**UPDATE** This was originally a 1-star review because of the above service. I still believe this was handled very poorly. However, my husband and I returned to the store and spoke with a manager. The manager, Jason, redeemed the situation and gave us credit for a new computer. Jason made things right, but I'm annoyed that it took my husband pointing out the wrongdoing to be compensated for my broken computer.
Allen Shaw: I Called this store off google maps, some how was changed to northcrest store, I setup a appointment to change the battery on a iPhone 5s, I was told $29.99 to replace the battery. I drive all the way cross town and when I get to the store, i'm told it will cost $85.00. if this is the way you do busy, I will not be buying anything from your stores again.

Jordan Lemay: If I could give Best Buy in general a zero star review I would search. When are we not able to speak directly to the store now we gotta call and speak to a call center and they can I give us a direct line to the store what the hell is that? Screw you Best Buy you lost my business for life.
Rwayda Al Hamd: I had a terrible experience with an attempted phone fix -- they made the problem worse. My iPhone had a battery problem, but the Geek Squad would not listen, and insisted that they couldn't do anything without erasing everything. However, after erasure then the phone kept having the same issue, and then I was told, yes it's the battery and they can't order the part for 10 days. It's important to listen to the customer, and take a look at that issue first, and also to be up front about whether parts are available. If I'd known the part wasn't there, I would not have let them touch my phone. DO NOT GO THERE.
John Barnett: Waste of time and money, when there twice, never fixed the problem, changed both times, full amount, indicated could not be fixed... according to Apple can be fix with no problem... don't waste your time if you have a Mac or any other apple products... go to the apple store over the geeks.

Haley Maccciomei: I purchased the canon 5D Mark Iv at this location a $2,500 camera paid in full and was able to exchange for new within the 30 day mark because there was a defect with the shutter. I got the brand new one and now 4 months later the camera is doing the same thing and having the same defect and no one is able to help... Plus it doesn’t help everyone I go to call no one is ever available and I go in and no one knows how to work on cameras...
Emily Cosper: Went here to get my son’s gaming computer fixed and could not have been more disappointed. Not only did they misdiagnose what was wrong with the computer but they sold me some package that was supposed to cover everything. Then when they diagnosed the issue as a bad $300 mother board + labor totaling around $600 because motherboards weren’t included in the package that covered everything the day before. I figured I would buy the mother board and install on my own. With their direction. That didn’t work. Meanwhile they are trying to sell me a new computer. Went to alpha Mac and $80 later my computer is working better than ever. Most definitely was not the motherboard. Of course it’s too late to return that. Hopefully this helps someone else to not waste the time or money with geek squad.

The guy at GreedySqads recommend me to buy a new iPad for $300 plus tax. I bought this same damn iPad for $250. Avoid this place at any cost. Send it to Apple, if you have Android, YouTube it. Emmy Williams: Made an appointment for 2pm, was ignored until fifteen minutes after my appointment was meant to begin. Then I was able to finally put my computer on the counter while the guy working did something else for another five minutes. All that was needed was a simple hard drive installation, something that takes twenty minutes at most, but AFTER I had paid I was told that it was a two day turnover time. So now, with no indication before hand, I find myself without my computer for two days. By far the worst customer service I have ever seen at a best buy or any sort of service like geek squad. Will never use this stores service again.

Ryan Farver: I bought the Samsung z flip 4 about a month ago. My screen went out and had to have it replaced. I was told to go to UBreakIFix on Coldwater road. I arrived there on Saturday around 3pm. I was told that the repair should be done by Sunday at 2pm. No big deal. I arrive the next day at 2 and was told that the phone was almost ready and to come back in 10 to 15 mins. Not an issue either. I came back in after 20 minutes " which turned into 2 hours", then was told that the phone failed diagnostic testing and the phone needed to be calibrated. At this point I began becoming frustrated. The tech told me to come by on Monday and it'll be completed. I called this time on Monday before driving to ft wayne to see if it was ready. The tech told me they had to send the phone to other store on Jefferson to be calibrated because they didn't have a calibration machine or it needed parts or something. And that now my phone would take another day to repair and that I might be able to get it Wednesday at the latest. I arrived at the Jefferson location around 1pm Wednesday to see if it's ready, it wasn't. The tech at that location could not get it calibrated at all. He finally took the phone apart and realized that the other techs at the Coldwater location did not replace my 5G antenna after replacing the screen. Took them 3 days to figure it out and finally passing the diagnostictest. I will never go to the location on Coldwater again. The guys at the Jefferson location are legit and know what they're doing.
Tricia Dunbar: I had an appointment on Wednesday, February 22,2023 and Matthew G. was the person to assist me. I was having to use my Speaker to hear anyone when they had called me. I have an Iphone 11 and asked Matthew if anyone had problems hearing with this phone. He was honest and said that he had not heard of this problem with many phones so he suggested cleaning my phone/speaker. When he returned with my phone about 5 minutes later, he tested my phone and I could hear without using the speaker. I was so thankful and appreciated his honesty. I would recommend them to everyone.

Ni Sa: brought a device in for a screen replacement. 1 day after expected finish day I had to be the one to call and find out that my decive now needs a back glass replaced. I was then called to come and get the device only to be told that it needed another part replaced or it couldn't be returned to me. I authorized that repair too!! Only to be told the phone didn't pass a diagnostic test and now they can't do any of the repairs. The employees did not make any of these stipulations known before taking my device in.
