I waited an hour, they called my name (first name only) another girl by the same first name went ahead of me. Guess I should have charged in because it was me that was supposed to be seen. I went to the receptionist and asked about the situation. They then checked the charts but did not let me go in. All the nurses and staff started laughing about it. I have terrible anxiety going to the dentist any way. So then the Dr comes in and I explain the situation and blows it off. I told her I needed a tooth fixed that had been causing me problems. She says we don’t fix teeth here. We pull them out and put in the denture that’s it. I explained I thought you do implants, she said we do that too. So ok what are my options? It is very hard to understand her, she talks very fast and said listen and follow along cause I already told you once. 1 you can leave with nothing done 2 I can pull the bad tooth and you will loose the one behind it. 3 I can remove all teeth and put in a denture 3000. I can pull all teeth and put in implants +$100,000, 4 pull two teeth but you have to get caps put on the two remaining molars somewhere else $12000. So what do you want me to do? I left. I wouldn’t take my dog there.

I dont know what country they got their license from to even be a dentist if that's what they want to call themselves. So they decide not to do anything at all, even with the clear pain the teeth are causing him. what a wasted trip and missed work for that. verrryy disappointed. Very unprofessional of them to refuse full service bc he wants all teeth pulled and not just the 3 they claimed are the only bad ones.

I was here back in December 2022 I had some small dental work done but was antisipating on getting a implant put in in January they sent me multiple emails confirming my 2 appointments in January on the 18th and when I went in for my first appointment @9 am they told me they no longer accepted my insurance mind you they called and emailed me the day before for my appointment!!! I’ve waited a long time and they didn’t even have the decency to cancel my appointment over the phone or via email….

katie bohde: I have had nothing but trauma when it comes to dental work. I had a molar break to pieces while I was eating lunch at work, and had to leave in tears and immense pain, a nerve was exposed and there was a giant hole. I went to an office before afdent, and they did nothing but look in my mouth and take X-rays, and then tell me to reschedule with one of their options. It was a waste of a $150 office visit fee. Afdent was willing and able to start the root canal process that day, get that tooth handled, and give the me relief I was desperately in need of. Even after they started the procedure, and my anxiety and past trauma started to come in full force, (which I don’t think any of us expected me to react the way I did) they worked with it, and got it done. They were calm, and dealt with my shaking and tears until the end. My follow up appointments will be with full sedation going forward for ease of everyone, but I’m so thankful they didn’t give up and helped get me through it during my emergency. I needed help and sure didn’t make it easy for them. I’m very thankful for my experience at this office. It’s helping replace my bad experiences. I’m not scared to come back for my follow up visits to finish my root canal. That’s big for me. ❤️

Moreover, it is up to the provider to inform the client whether they are in the client's insurance network, not the insurance company. They did not do this and I had very high bills for even basic services. And the dentists changed with each visit. I'm glad that I have found a more stable, in-network dental office.

Clinton Dowell: My wife and I went here a year ago. Everyone was great and friendly and it was nice at first. We both received crowns on teeth that were never bothering us but just listened blindly to their recommendations. We were told we’d probably have pain in them for a while. A year later they still hurt from time to time and said it was normal. My wife has gotten to the point where her pain is unbearable so I called to get her in and they couldn’t for over a week even an emergency appointment so we went elsewhere. Come to find out that the crown is in good shape and sealed but the root underneath is dead and is now infected. She has to go to a specialist to have a root canal costing us over $1,300 out of pocket because they didn’t do a root canal originally on it. The new dentist we found is blown away by what Southwest told us and how pain would be normal. I’m fearful that mine are the same way because they constantly hurt even though I never had an issue with them before. Don’t let this place work in your mouth and go elsewhere. Fillings that were put in as well were not done well either so we’re told. Not happy after already spending thousands here to have to pay thousands more on their terrible work. Would be nice if they’d pay for our rework but that won’t happen.

When I called, I was told that whomever used to work there never properly submitted insurance claims. and I was told I needed to pay that still. I pay it.Fast forward to today, I get yet ANOTHER bill from the same services with a bill over 450!! I left a voice message, but I'm sure this will be placed on me, and they will not take responsibility for it.Please beware if you plan to make appointments for services.Update: Apparently, someone never submitted the claim to my insurance, they must have discovered it later on and sent it in recently. That's twice they did this to me. I called to see if they would fix that, but they made it seem like it was my problem, even though they never mentioned it for a year. I definitely felt cheated and misled. Canceled all future appointments. I'm going to a dentist that has a clear understanding of filing insurance and has proper discussions with clients about estimates. Zero stars.

marco fonseca: The staff was incredibly friendly and thorough with my check up and offered plenty of treatments I could use for my gingivitis. They offered on the spot treatment for it because they had the time which was generous. I also had 2 cavities and 1 wisdom tooth to be removed and the 2nd treatment for the gingivitis and they offered to do all of that in one session. They offer different payment plans. Everything was fast. Truly a wonderful dental experience.

Jennifer Bryant: This review is about my permanent implants. I love them, and the medical team that performed the procedures. We had a rocky start for sure, but Dr. Losier and Meghan are the best! Meghan is one of the hardest working medical personnel I've ever come across. They are truly interested in their patients well-being and satisfaction, and I wish I could give them 5 stars.The problem I have is with billing. I paid the estimated cost in full, and was insured that I wouldn't owe more. Then I kept receiving bills during the entire process. Bills for things I had already paid. Everytime I called the office they said to ignore the bills. It's hard to ignore bills in red that say final notice. I don't know if this is some antiquated billing system, or a bait and switch for clients who don't challenge them. I'm glad Dr. Losier and Meghan handled my implants, but until the billing office changes the way they do business, it will be hard for me to recommend this office to family or friends.

Nina Alonzo Ochoa: The office on Illinois Road is one of the best dentist offices I’ve ever visited. They are also friendly. Dr. Rahimi was very informative and explaining to me everything that is going on as he was doing it. The dental assistant Sandra did my x-rays and was very gentle with putting in the x-ray desk in my mouth and she did it in a timely manner. That’s always a good thing. Katie was very friendly as I checked in and explain to me the paperwork that I was going to fill out Angela the hygienist was awesome the team there were also amazing. I’m glad that I chose Aspen dental.

The other dentist was appalled at the situation and could not get in contact with the Aspen office for details. No level of care provided or sympathy. Uncaring unskilled dentists at “work”. The dentist would not even come to take a look at my tooth!! He said to have me schedule an appointment for a examination!! So now I have to deal with the pain until my exam! Then I’ll have to make another appointment to get my tooth fixed, again!!!! This dentist is completely unprofessional and incompetent! I’m going to find another dentist and I’m never returning to Aspen Dental again.

This was my first time going to Aspen Dental and the entire staff was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable as if I had been there before. The wait time was very short. Also I was able to book my follow up appointment for next week which is amazing in my eyes!

Natalee: Horrible place- avoid. I started taking my mother to this place a few months ago, she’s elderly and I have to drive her to all of her appointments. I tried to talk her out of going to this place from the beginning. They immediately set her up with a credit card and over charged for services. After her X-rays, they had to reschedule her first appointment to fix a tooth. In the mean time I had her go to another dentist for another opinion. The other place was adamant that the tooth that needed fixed was not the tooth that Aspen wanted to fix. However, moms tooth was hurting pretty bad and she had already had to wait 3 days to get this new appointment, so I expressed my concern for the correct tooth location to Aspen over the phone and kept her appointment. She had several more appointments where she waited for extended periods of time to be seen and then would have to reschedule for some random reasons. Since this started she has had 5+ appointments and we have spent over 10+ hours at Aspen Dental. All she has had completed is 1 tooth fixed. And I’m pretty sure it isn’t the correct one and mom is still in pain. She was scheduled today to get a cleaning, she took her antibiotic per the Dentist recommendation and we headed to the appointment. This was the second appointment this week because the first one, which she spent over an hour at, they had to reschedule for today because they supposedly told her the appointment before that she would need to take an antibiotic a half hour prior to arrival. So today we were stuck in traffic and were 10 minutes late. As soon as we walk in the lady says that mom will have to reschedule. I know we were late but come on, ten minutes makes or breaks you? When she’s had to sit there for hours. Aspen dental is a joke, they could care less about anyone else’s time, I’m not confident they even fixed the correct tooth from before. We will never go back. Also, pretty sure they overcharged her for the tooth as well, it was well over $750 to fill a cavity and take X-rays.

Sarah Kovich: I went a few months ago, but this experience still bothers me and I felt the need to warn others.I recently moved to the area and wanted to use my new dental insurance for some upkeep/cleaning as I am pregnant and understand the importance of dental hygiene in pregnancy.The front desk staff asked me to get a note from my OB stating that I was cleared to receive dental care, which I got for them. When I arrived for my appointment, I double checked that they had received it, and the receptionist assured me the dental staff had it in their file and reviewed it. (The front desk staff were the only nice, considerate people through this whole experience, I just want to note that.)When I was taken back for my appointment, the technician immediately started preparing me for x-rays. I asked the technician if my doctor cleared me for that, and guess what? She hadn't even opened my file; had I not said anything, she would have given me a full set of x-rays. The poor receptionist sounded so embarrassed trying to subtly remind the technician that I had notes in my file she needed to check.Then I was told they couldn't do a cleaning that day because their hygienist wasn't in the office, but the dentist could do a "quick check" and I could come back for a cleaning on a different day. Fine. The dentist came in and immediately started scolding me, reducing me almost to tears, stating that I "should have thought about going to the dentist before getting pregnant" because "now he can't do any real work."He looked in my mouth briefly and declared I had multiple cavities and gingivitis, then left. I went out to the front desk, where they broke down my "treatment plan" for me, totaling well over $1,000.The whole visit didn't sit right with me, so I got a second opinion at a local dental office the next day and boy am I glad I did! Here's the thing- I actually don't have any cavities and I don't have gingivitis either. The other office was vastly more caring, attentive, and did a more thorough job of checking my teeth before deciding on anything. I'm so glad I saved myself from unnecessary expenses, stress, and dental work by just going somewhere else. If you're shopping around for dental offices, I suggest you keep looking.

It was all completed within 24 hours of the first call to Aspen Dental. The greatest dentists and Staffin the City. Thanks Aspen..

Their computer system was not working and I chose to wait because it was an emergency (I lost 2 front teeth in an accident). The X-ray tech was not friendly and tore my mouth up. When the dentist was examining me a staff member pulled him aside and said I was too high risk to care for and needed clearance from my physician. She was talking about my medical history in an open area and could be heard by other patients. HIPPA violation! I was asked to reschedule and wasn’t able to get to my appointment on time. I received a call after I got home and was told not to come back because I gave a negative review on their survey. I’m glad they canceled my appointment because I went elsewhere and had a great experience from check in to check out. Shame on you Aspen! Zero star rating!
