Allen County Division of Family Resources: what do users think?
sarah ludemann: I turned in documents, had a 3 way call with a bank and was promised food stamps the next day. Next day comes around and I don't have any. I call them again and the messed up all the documents and said it would take at least 2 days. Guess I won't be eating.
oo zine: Their employees are very rude.
Seth R: They won’t stop filing applications on my behalf. I don’t qualify any longer but they keep trying to get me approved after I asked they stop. I just got a letter stating I am approved but I am well over the income threshold. I’m going to end up being charged by the state for insurance I never asked for.
Cassandra Rogers: I wish there was a zero star! How are we supposed to find comfort in getting assistance and help when your employees are so rude and disrespectful. Skipping over numbers calling out acting as if we are not listening, then acting as if you’re going to throw hands secretly talking to another employee. I have never witnessed so much disrespect in a government assistance office. I’m completely disgusted. I only needed to fax papers it makes me never want to step foot back in that office! I unfortunately really need the food stamps I receive but I do not need the disrespect! Reevaluate some of your disrespectful employees!
SAR BAN: Seriously the worst place ever! They will keep asking for documents that you’ve already turned in a million times and will try to close your case every possible way lol. Like if the job ain’t for you get a new one.
Seth Bliss: I've been getting denied assistance for the last 3 years. I have 4 children that need to eat. They keep asking for more and more documents. I don't know how many times I've turned everything in and they always seem to find another problem that needs more documents
Billy “Bubba”: Won't actually help families in need! So sad I wonder where all the government money really goes 🤔
Ahmad Ali: Had a snap telephone interview scheduled for 6/15/2020 @ 11am. I waited all day for them to call me and they never did. Then I look u my case status online and see that they had marked me as a “no show” for my telephone interview but they never called me. So now I’m going to have to go up there and see them in person to find out who handled my snap case and why did they lie about calling me and marking me as a ‘no show”.
Jason Stromberg: Who better to deny food resources than a disabled diabetic in need of help, just wanted to thank those who went out of their way to take from someone in dire need.
Maria Stevens: Posting this under a pseudonym to protect myself. I've had a legal name/gender marker change and have gone through the motion of updating them with the court order, as well as the one to seal my previous identity. Not only did they not wipe my old name when the court provided an order to do so, they blurted it out today in front of people in the sitting area. Then, they blamed it on transferring to a new system during the pandemic. Ya right, that's becoming all too common an excuse for people who've been rude when you were forced to deal with them remotely. Now I need to go in to have it updated again? I'm going through with it, but I'm also going to explore what legal options I have, since this change was under State Administrative Rule 9, which concerns matters of safety of the person, regarding sealing the name.
David Redmond: Nice people when they want to be and some days you get in faster then others
Chit Moeoo: I had to wait more than 10 min to talk to them and as soon as they pick up and I told them the reason I’m calling. They hang up on me.
Alex Bilger: They're constantly doing illegal things and leaving you at fault for their mishandlings. I asked for some help, I'm a single mom to a newborn, I applied for Tanf and was told that because I make over 200 a month, I couldn't get any help, but if I quit getting assistance from unemployment (getting a whole 100 a week) then I'd get a whole 100$ a month.. and when I said that doesn't even cover rent, I WAS DIRECTED BY AN EMPLOYEE TO CONTACT A HOMELESS SHELTER!!! All of their employees are RUDE, UNCARING, UNHELPFUL PEOPLE! They illegally stopped my insurance and SNAP benefits multiple times, as it's illegal to deny or discontinue any benefits until the end of the year.
Nyi Soe (Ashraf Ali): Burmese interpreter are very rude, disrespect and impatient. I was there for a couple times and every single time they are all the same. Super disrespect to the people who doesn't speak English.
Shira Banks: Very rude and unprofessional they hire anybody
Aries Femme: Awesome experience.
Iceis Sutton: Rude impatient employees it’s ridiculous no one seems to care at this location it’s sad they need help ASAP
Tanya Dalton: This place stays packed with people you sit there forever only to have someone be rude to you when you finally get called. I understand the work can be stressful, but so can someone having to ask for help because things in there life has changed.
Briseis Pecina: Employee went out of her way to help me with a copy I needed. Instead of waiting in line after pulling a number, she helped me right away instead of waiting for something so simple. That is a major gesture especially at the division of family services. Usually it is alot like going to the DMV. Lol
Star Light: Just run down building
Chris Smith: What do you expect for a welfare office in the hood?

D “Just another reviewer” S: I was interviewed for an office job at Lutheran Social Services four or five years' ago and when one of the interviewers thought I wasn't looking, he proceeded to shake his head and make the "cut-throat" gesture to his fellow coworker (another interviewer). Tacky and rude. He could have at least waited until I left the interview room.
GreenEyes Gemini: The woman promptly hung up on me when I told her about my situation, my child & I are almost on the streets.
Charles Sizemore: I had the pleasure to meet Lily that works in the church office which I painted a picture for, I also got some much needed repairs done thank all of you.
Desiree Alleshouse: They helped through so much and still do help.

Wellspring Interfaith Social: what do users think?
Julie Andrews: I miss Gayle and Cassie Mann!
David Current: Wellspring does so many things! We purchase abandoned storage units (think storage wars, but on a smaller, local level). If we find extremely nice clothes (think attending a wedding or quincianera or working in a very nice office) we donate them to Wellspring's boutique.People are sent to the boutique from other agencies and are allowed 1 outfit per person every 3 months for no charge. We are very impressed with Wellspring's small boutique. If you just need clothes, pop over to the Salvation Army. If you need work clothes, pop over to Blue Jacket. Wellspring Boutique is the place you go for something classy.
Gladis Duran: Very nice people
Winston Pearson Jr: GREAT GREAT GREAT PLACE
Wade Wasson: Ty for all the help. Couldn't be a more friendly group then these folks.
Katherine Wallace: They have a food bank here and the people are very nice that work here
Mr Bubbles: Great kind help
Titus Jackson: Great help with food resources.
M H: Super helpful people!
levi: I miss this place I haven't been there in 3 years I want to go back I have lots of memories In wellspring
shaniqueca williams: Sweet group of people who helps with clothing and food needs
lorri klingenberger: Good place
Allen Wasson: Friendly people that do there best to help anyone they can.
V Gee: Lovely place to visit. Feel free to donate gently used clothing and food items.
Betsy Hortenberry: Didn't go in, brought friend
Darkest Love: Rating based on their giving programs. They try very hard to be a helpful place for community members to get help and they don't try to force you to join their church or do anything to recieve that help. They are genuinely good people doing their best to help others. They also go above and beyond to make the people they help feel like "normal people" most people who recieve assistance will understand what I mean... they don't make choices for you and give you as much option as possible when giving you things you need. It's a very refreshing change from the usual take it or leave it mentality people get when helping low income people.
Gurdeep Singh: Rude staff
Darryl Witherspoon: Just a gr8 place for young kids to hangout and a gr8 summer camp .
Marlene Gomez: Good people to help everyone
Tamera Prince: Everyone was very nice and Customer Service was great!! I found a lot of good stuff..🙋🏾
