D B: I attended a wedding at the lovely Fort Wayne History Center that was the perfect setting for a friends wedding venue. The space was perfect acoustically, because when the DJ played "Here Comes the Bride" and the she started walking down the aisle, it all came together in one perfect, picturesque moment. One of the highlights of the night was when the DJ packed the dance floor song after song with what seemed liked customized requests the bride and groom had chosen, and they had some great music selections. I cannot recall a wedding where everyone danced so much; we definitely felt the sores muscles the next day. Another highlight of the evening were the slow songs. The music allowed the bride and groom to float across the dance floor elequcetenly to Michael Buble, putting on a show for the audience to admire. (I think they had dance lessons)! I felt compelled to write a review because sometimes when the music moves you all night long, you know the wedding party chose the right DJ. If I ever get the opportunity to tie the knot someday, I would definitely hire them for my wedding. Keep up the great work!

After the fact you contacted my job and tried to threaten them into terminating me, and now 3 months later are having your friends tell by boyfriend and father of my child that I am cheating on him! You are seriously pathetic!

Mindy Sly: So Unprofessional. – Almost ruined the wedding day! HE WAS A NO SHOW!The bride (mind you, 60-year-old women – 2nd marriage) found and booked Michael for the wedding. Then I (her mid 30s daughter) and wedding planner/MOH help take over the day of events.With a poorly formatted word document sent prior to the wedding I took it upon myself to touch base 1 week prior to the wedding date to talk to the DJ. He was providing ceremony music/microphone & services for the reception as well. We had a phone conversation, and all was great- Looking forward to the event!On the Monday after our call, he sent the final balance notice to the bride via PayPal request… As the other vendors have done so we can just click and pay on the day of the wedding to avoid any cash/check exchange. No further communication was had & all was well – (we thought!!)The morning of the event I got a text message stating “For some reason I still have not received final balance payment. I need payment before I head out”. Meaning he will not leave to come to the event unless he has his FULL PAYMENT in hand.First off, this was the 1st time I am hearing of this, and we have had NO COMMUNICATION with him for 3+ months regarding payments. Taken back by this request I stated I was unaware of this policy and was not with the bride at this moment – again MORNING OF THE WEDDING!! I was setting up the reception hall while she was getting ready and headed to the venue.My reply was that I will get the money as soon as I see the bride so I can log onto her PayPal. We spoke on the phone briefly and his final words to me were – “ Let me know when you make payment and I will leave my place in 15 minutes then”!I made payment 40 minutes later with a text reply to the DJ that payment was processed.We go about our day & from the venue a family member texts me 40 min before the ceremony that the DJ was a NO SHOW!!!! I texted & called him 2 times within 10 minutes. Along with countless other family reaching out to Michael – He AVOIDED US ALL NIGHT LONG!Come to find out at some point during the day he decided that he was not going to come to the wedding because he didn’t like my attitude of questioning final payment before a service was rendered. He sent a PayPal refund with message returning all our funds with no officially communication to us that he was not coming!!!

Ray Bae: A must-visit for all musicians: it's the biggest music store in the country! Wish there were more employees present to assist, as well as more guitar cables (they were all taken for a while), but a rigging bassist and Sweetwater employee eventually came and explained everything to a pretty good extent. Cool architecture and a nice cafe as well - great place to try out gear before you buy!

This was a bummer, as we had read tons of raving reviews.On a positive note, we were grateful for their flexibility and ease. They arrived on time and made the transition from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception easy. They did communicate with both my husband and I, as well as our vendors, throughout the night to keep us updated on what was coming next. I thank them both for all of this!But, the most saddening thing to me was the wrong version of my first dance song with my father was played, after my husband discussed this with Dan the morning of our wedding. It may not sound like a huge deal, but this moment was very important to me and made an unfortunate difference in the emotions I felt while dancing with my dad. Our song was to be a "Sweet Child O' Mine" cover, but the rock-n-roll Guns N' Roses version was played instead (and I won't forget Dan saying "I don't know about this song choice, but here it is.... Sweet Child O' Mine." It felt like a judgy, hurtful way to introduce a song very special to us.)Following this, I felt like our "must play" playlist was barely touched during the reception. A couple of songs were mingled in that we had on that playlist, but I noticed more than not, songs we didn't want were playing. My husband remembers going up to the DJ station a couple of times to have a song stopped + changed, or to request songs that were on our must-play list. I felt like that kind of put a damper on the vibe.Lastly, I noticed the speakers kept shortening and the music would be muffled/quiet. And then suddenly the sound would come back. Towards the end of the night, the speakers went low + muffled and never got louder. One of the things I was most excited about on our wedding day was dancing to music we love, which was hard to do with the sound quality being inconsistent.Overall, I think Dan and his assistant were very pleasant people to plan with, but we were kind of let down after these few important details were missed.
Chelsea Peters-Beebe: Dan and Jake were absolutely awesome for our parents 40th wedding anniversary party. They were professional and fun at the same time. Dan had an entertaining game prepared during the dinner hour that really kept people’s attention and made everyone laugh. He went the extra mile without even being asked to do so and everyone at the party commented on how great the DJ was. We will use Dan for all future events!

From the equipment he brings, the communication before the wedding and during, the professionalism he brought to my wedding, and the over the top customer service he provided really made my day special. He does such an amazing job. He even went out of his way to find us a porta-potty the day before my wedding,, because the one we purchased never arrived. Can't say enough about this guy. Paul Hoffman: This DJ was contracted to show up for reception at Salomon Farm, but he never showed. We called and asked what to do, and we were told that the owner was sorry but there was nothing he could do. We arrived at our wedding reception and did not have a DJ. This company definitely did not deliver.
JD Lefty: He did our wedding a few years back and it was stellar! I believe he is the best dj I have ever met. If you want quality not just a guy with an iPod and speakers, hire this guy.One thing I really like is he took time to help plan and suggest music. The music we picked wasn't as good as his selections. He seems to know different music others don't. I really liked that he didn't drink or smoke on the job too. I wasn't used to someone who presented as well as him.Hire him!
Brianna Duer: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME! My fiancé and I hired Adrian to do our wedding. From the beginning I was underwhelmed by his punctuality but I thought I could overlook that as long as his DJing skills were good. That became hard to do when today we had our final meeting with him. (our wedding is in 3 weeks) We were meeting today to nail down the details of the wedding and reception and to pay him. How do you not show up to the meeting where you're getting paid at on time!? Our meeting was set for 3 p.m.. At 3:15 we called him to see when he would be there and he didn't answer. My fiancé called him numerous times and he never answered. At 3:35 we get a call back from a number we don't know and the phone conversation goes like this. Greg: Hello. Adrian: I have like 10 missed calls from this number who is this? Greg: Greg we had a netting scheduled for 3 today. Adrian: Oh yeah. Well what time is it? Greg: 3:40. Adrian: Oh well I had a late party last night I'll be there in like 15 minutes. At this point we didn't know what to do. He acted like nothing was wrong with being 40 minutes late! When he arrived it was even worse. He sat down at our table with a nonchalant sorry about being late guys ready to go over the details? I said I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. My fiancé told him that he was now 0/3 for being on time to our meetings and that this was more than just a little late and about how we value our time and he should be somewhere when he says he will be there. Adrian replies that he was going to offer us a package upgrade because he was late and that was a $150 offer and he was only 40 minutes late! We declined and he said well fine give me your address and I'll mail you your deposit back. We did that and he got up from the table and he said he thought it was a great idea to not have a DJ 2 weeks before our wedding and laughed! Awful person and I hope he never gets booked again! He has ruined my wedding! I now need to find another DJ who isn't booked in 3 weeks!
