Dave Stevens: Summit Consultants are wonderful. Trustworthy, hard working, they go above and beyond to help us in any way they can. I've been working with them for probably 25+ years. First with Steve, and now with Chris with assist from Nick and others. Whenever I come in, my wife and I are the priorities, they'll take the time to offer an update on our investments, (not that we have a lot) and also offer basic financial advice.When I first started working with them, Steve told me that they many folks who they handle with not a lot of means, and they figured that if they treat all people well, that the business will grow. It seems to have done so. They took great care helping my father and mother with their retirement and helped them make the most of the little funds they had. They were wonderful to both of them. Once we found out we could actually retire now if we wanted to, we could! It was if a “silent” weight on our shoulders was lifted! Our plan allows us to have a life time of income. Then you unfold expecting a W-2 or one of the 1099 forms.Was actually a come on for a "free" meal you actually have to pay for by listening to his investment seminar.

I have been working with the Tradewell team for 10 months now and have found them all to be knowledgeable, courteous and informative. I moved all of my investments to Tradewell for my retirement planning. Additionally, they provided in-office attorney assistance for writing of my will and health care representative, as well as my living will. They also have an in-office health insurance expert who is assisting me with review of best options for marketplace plans since I have opted for early retirement and do not yet qualify for Medicare.Tradewell has been able to meet of all of my planning needs with the various experts all in one office. They offer such complete services with their team which is large enough to meet the needs of all customers and yet small enough to invest a personal interest in each person to whom they provide their services.I would highly recommend the Tradewell team for all of your investment planning needs!

Ryan Archer: I came to Tradewell on the recommendation of a good friend of mine who sent me a couple of their articles on managing risk and planning for inflation in retirement.I'd always been more of a DIY guy when it came to managing my money and planning for retirement, but I figured that there were probably a number of things that I was overlooking so I came in and talked to the good people at Tradewell to make sure I was on track.Well as it turns out, there were a number of fees associated with some of my mutual funds that I hadn't taken into account, as well as some adjustments to my risk strategy that they recommended I take. I moved my accounts over for them to manage and now I'm confident that I'm in a much better position for retirement, not to mention that the back of my mind stress that was nagging at me is gone now too!I highly recommend the team at Tradewell for financial management, and I'll be going back soon to work with their in-house elder law attorney to get my estate planning taken care of as well.

Paul Larson: My experience with Terry was absolutely horrible. After our two hour meeting to review my taxes, he told me he would go over my information and get back to me that afternoon with the results. He called two hours later and asked if I was recording our conversation. I told him I had no reason to and that I was not recording it. Then he told me he didn't want to do business with me. When I asked for a reason why, he told me he could not do my taxes for the rate he quoted me. Fine. I then asked how much he would need to charge to get the taxes done. Instead of answering the question, he said he didn't understand why I didn't just have my father do my taxes (since I had explained my father had done them the previous years). I told Terry my father passed away 3 weeks ago so I needed someone else. Terry then told me they don't really want clients like me--they don't want to do simple tax returns. Then why does Tradewell advertise on the radio that they are there to do taxes? Terry then says he just didn't understand why I wasn't investing more of my money. He met me that morning, knew nothing of my situation or financial position, and had the nerve to make assumptions. This was handled so unprofessionally and without any tact at all.
