Only seen one gal working behind counter, she was as friendly as the "Deadliest" snake on earth!! I will go out of my way to avoid this store!!! Been in 2nd hand stores better than this!!

Very impressed.They are now a Family Dollar with an isle of the Dollar Tree merchandise mixed in.Well stocked and looking good.Today there was great music playing in the store. And Family Dollar still has a lot of Dollar Tree items and stuff for $1. Instead of the $1.25.

queen mani gaming: Me and my cousin needed to use the restroom and this guy that worked there gave us the key and said give it back when ur done. my cousin got out the bathroom and didn't know it would lock without the key locking it. I was going to go after her and we told them and we were crying because she was yelling at us and the guy, btw everyone could here her say," they locked the key in the bathroom"and then she said "no more bathroom, we can't use the bathroom anymore thanks to them" she then proceeded to say "this why I don't let people use the bathroom." we apologized a ton but she was being rude. it was a complete mistake. WE ARE 13 she didn't have to be so rude to us. I hope she gets fired, I didn't get her name but they know they what they did. Which was completely unprofessional. We would've been better off if he just declined us and saved us from our anxiety and tears.

tina ingram: Not impressed. I love Family Dollar but this one is not managed right. I purchased a comforter set, there were on sale on a self. Multiple different ones with a hand written price tag for the different sizes. At the checkout the one I picked came up as the original price. I explained to the sales lady the sign said different. She said it is in the system as this price. I asked to speak to the manager. She came up and started to help check out other people. I explained the situation and she did not know what I was talking about. The other lady said they put out the signs last night then said it was probably just on the wrong spot. The manager agreed with her. I explained there were multiple of the kind I just bought. She blew me off and went on to the next person in line.

Heather Gerardot: My experience there was both good and bad. You walk in the store and they had freight and boxes there so it was very hard to move around. But I found everything I needed. As I was leaving a van had parked so close to me I couldnt get in my car. So when I unlocked my car I always put my keys on the front seat and loaded my things with hitting this van. In the process of being extra careful not to hit the van, my hand hit the lock button for my doors. So needless to say I was locked out. With my windows cracked just enough I thought if I could find something to grab the keys it would be ok. So I asked them if the had a hanger or anything I could borrow and the employee said I may have something in my truck. She had a big stick which we were able to hit the unlock button after realizing my keys were to heavy for the stick. I dont remember the girls name but I couldnt thank her enough. I told here that we need people like her and hugged her. So I would definitely visit there again.

Sir CES: This Family dollar at 4401 Bluffton rd had nobody there to open the store until 9:20 am on 2/8/21. I sat in the parking lot waiting for the store to open and watched 11 cars pull up and try to go in and shop. Zero excuse for this store to not be open at 9 am.

What bothers me is she goes to other businesses in the same strip that this store is in & is downright nasty to people who work there & tries to tell them how they should run their stores. This woman can't even manage the store that she gets paid to manage but she wants to manage other businesses by their store? Maybe once her store is in perfect condition, we might respect her opinion. We've helped her out with change because she didn't have any for her store, we've given her employees free food. I always thought that she was a nice woman but not after seeing her nasty attitude today. It's not warranted or appreciated at all & she needs to stick to managing her store & leave everyone else alone.

playlist fave: I only gave 2 stars because of the friendly lady who works during the day, otherwise it would have been 1 star due to the filthiness of the store. My husband uses a walker & can't get through the store because of products blocking everything. It looks like the floors haven't been cleaned in months. He witnessed the manager just kicking trash underneath the shelf. The guy who works there is filthy. Looks like he hasn't taken a shower or washed his shirt in forever. He wears the same filthy shirt.all of the time. I understand that they may be short staffed but maybe they need to close for a day or so just to clean & stock. It's really gross & who would trust buying anything from there, especially with a new store just down the street or Dollar General not too far from there either?

Lana L (LB): I stopped into this Family Dollar to get some greeting cards and some air fresheners as well as laundry detergent. There was one girl working the store who was unloading an entire shipment from a tractor trailer all by herself. She was very polite even though she had boxes stacked from floor to ceiling in every aisle. She immediately stopped what she was doing when I got done my shopping and came to the counter to check me out. She had a huge smile and was more than polite considering the stress she was under. There is a brand new Family Dollar just a mile down the road but this store always has a great employee that works during the day on weekdays. She is a huge asset to the company. She told me she had been working there many years and the she enjoyed her job even though they can't get help. I found exactly what I was looking for and as usual the prices can't be beat. The outside however could use some work. The parking lot is full of potholes and the exterior of this store is in dire need of some tender loving care. It is easy to get in and out of this Plaza on to Bluffton Road and had either north or south at any given time. I always use this Family Dollar as opposed to the new one because it is quieter and because of the staff even though the newer one is of course in better shape cosmetically.

Tina Garofalo: I normally go to Family Dollar at least three to four times a week but this particular one on Bluffton Road in Fort Wayne Indiana I bought $9.04 worth of merchandise gave the cashier a $20 bill and she gave me back $0.96 I told her I gave her a 20 she owes me $10 the other lady came up and took the cash register drawer to the back room kept it there for a half hour to count the drawer and said it didn't come up over but for $0.04 I will not be going back
