Pickers Dream: what do users think?
Robin Lester: It was fun to go to a live auction again. We have been doing the online auctions. They had so much stuff. We got some really good deals. As it gets later into the auction really pay attention to the items you want. More and more they will start the bidding then start putting more items in to try to make it a better deal. I lost track of 1 item that way but the next time they did it I won my item I wanted. We had a good time there.

The Country Shoppes of Grabill: what do users think?
Jerry J.: There was a monkey. 5 stars. Never know what you'll find. Gambling with time. Love it
David Poage: They have never heard of ADA approved of Americans with Disabilites Act
Kay Summers: I have been here several times. There are several vendors that I love shopping their booths, one with home goods and many with antiques & vintage. But the last time I was there 2 of my favorites had moved out. I asked someone if they had moved locations and soon discovered that both vendors had moved bo to to other malls. The vendor shared with me that a vendor not only pays rent but also must pay a 10% commission of everything they sell and if a customer puts it on a credit card the vendor is charged another 3.5%. Also then during Mother’s Day and Christmas open house the store mandates that every vendor take 10 percent off their booth. After paying all the rents and fees a vendor should “NOT” be required to have a sale. That should be at the discretion of the vendor not the store, After paying all of the fees as a vendor, that leaves the vendor very little profit, so they have no choice but to increase their prices and higher prices mean less sales and a vendor thus must move out. I now understand why there is a lot of vendor turnover at this mall. Seems like most profit goes to the store. It is wrong of the store owners to require that all vendors must run a mandatory sale when they are already paying rent, commission and credit card fees. Sadly, I had thought about selling my handmade signs here but I would not be able to make a profit. This mall should consider doing what other malls are doing by making the customer pay the 3.5 % credit card fee or no fee if they pay with cash. This in turn helps the vendor and encourages customers to use cash in an effort to support small businesses. I feel badly for these vendors. And I will discontinue shopping there if all of my favorite vendors continue to move out. Positives of this mall is it has been renovated on the outside and they now have a/c in the summer.
Michele Gladieux: Lots of EVERYTHING there, vintage, antique, collectable, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas ...check out the old fashion General Store and Common Ground Coffeehouse for great drinks and eats.A good day trip !!
Kelley Renz: One of my favorite antique malls.
Robert Detrow: You can find just about anything there a great back in time place I would recommend it
Chelsea B: My family drove over 30 minutes to shop here after seeing the store online. When we arrived we realized the store is not accessible to strollers, walkers, or people who may be disabled and in a wheelchair. This business should let potential customers know that the building isn’t adequately designed for anyone who may need assistance walking.First and last time visiting.I also made this post on Facebook and they deleted it.
Teddy Valinski: This market allows vendors to rip-off intellectual property from small businesses and real artists. I cannot with good consciousness recommend a business that supports this kind of practice.Vendor 29T is a scumbag that uses a screenshotted logo of a legitimate business that does not steal intellectual property. Ban "Gathered Goods Indiana"
LQ Rivers: We really liked shopping here with all of the different vendors but they do not have a checkout upstairs. We would frequent this place for years and they at least always had someone upstairs who would take walk thru and take our purchases downstairs to the counter which was so helpful when you had your hands full and wanted to continue shopping. Once our hands or basket are full we do not want to take things downstairs and return back up due to the steps. We just pay for our things and leave. My friends in our club take several trips here in and then have coffee in the coffee shop behind. The building now has air conditioning so shopping upstairs is more pleasant but without cashiers upstairs theft is evident as I witnessed when I came around a corner and saw a woman put an item in her purse. I would not want to be a vendor there in fear of theft and no one checking the areas in this big building.Great selection from new to old. You can find many unique things here. I have found alot of great boutique style clothing for my grandchildren and for myself at great prices.Tons of vendors but they need more help walking around helping customers with taking purchases to front desk and answering questions about things.
Midwest Trekker: Great Place
David Grear: Nice place to shop and very clean
Stacy Smith: This place is absolutely amazing. A hidden gem 💜
Susan Locke: Make sure to stop in here, a don't miss spot in a great little town.
Alayne Tresente-Sias: I spent my whole day in the antique shop
Kyle Horton: Has gone down hill in the last couple of years. Way less antiques, way more China made decorator objects and yard sale junk. Not a great antique location any more sadly. Still a couple good booths.
Ernesto Owen: My wife and I had so much fun checking out the town of Grabril IN. The general store was so cool. Found all kinds of candies I use to eat as a kid. The workers were so kind and helpful.
Terry Dornseif: Always a great place to visit.
Robert Knuckles: There was a lot to see during our brief visit, we'll definitely be visiting again
James Graber: Great place to shop! Many unique items you won't find just anywhere..!
Amanda Otis: Such a great place for antiques, rustic decor, plants, toys and more! One of my favorite places to shop! All my kids love the giant train set at Grabill Depot too!Candy shop, ice cream shop, and coffee shop too with a cute outdoor courtyard. Fun for everyone.
Bethany Brubaker: I've gone to the Country Shops 5 times this year and have never been able to do all of it in one day. There's so much to see! It will always leave you wanting more. What a fun place.
