Sara T: Ordered flowers and the phone number was incorrect. I happened to call in since I didn't hear about the flowers the next day. The lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude. She indicated they had called my friend and she failed to show up that night before and they were expecting her the next day. I followed up on Monday only for a different lady to tell me the phone number was missing a digit so they hadn't been able to get in contact with my friend and they were glad I called in. So the first lady that was rude to me lied and had never spoken with my friend and never stayed after work like she said to wait on my friend. Also, why was I never called and asked for the correct number? Why wait 3 days and hope that I would call? Poor customer service plus you lied to me! I have used this business for 18 years and will not return after the way I was treated!!!

I didn’t check before I left but realized it was never included when I got home.I called today and was told I was supposed to write my own. Keep in mind, there’s nothing on the website that says this. It allowed me to write a note just like a delivery order so that’s a little frustrating.I should have been told this by the employees there. Next time, I’ll check my flowers before leaving. donna ellis: I ordered two arrangements for Mother’s Day 2022, to be delivered to two locations, from 1-877 Ava’s flowers who transferred to this florist. I chose a blue/white crock with azaleas. My choice was confirmed. I was charged $26., service fee due to it being a holiday wknd. (Mothers day is always on a wknd). I was charged $83.38 for each plant and delivery. The azalea were substituted with kalachoe and arrived in a plastic pot with pink foil. They looked like I could have purchased them for $14.99. Clearly NOT the same priced item, plant or pot. The bow on my mother-in-law’s plant was bigger than the plant. My moms had no bow, neither had a card stating who it was from. Both sides of the families called me to say how awful the flowers were and clearly not an $85 value. How embarrassing. 1-877 discounted the plants to 50% and said they would allow my mil and mom to keep the plants. Uhhh? What? Like they were gonna go take them back? Not sure what happened to my order and how it went astray. But between the two it went bad….Even at 50% I’m still frustrated.

Sarah B: This shop is run by the most wonderful people, and they single-handedly saved Mother’s Day for me.I ordered a colorful Mother’s Day bouquet through an online retailer who delegated the order to a local florist (IDF). They sent the florist a completely incorrect description, and my mother got an all white bouquet (the traditional color for funerals).My mother has terminal cancer. A white bouquet was uh… probably the worst floral outcome possible. She’d already had a terrible day too, so I had to act fast to salvage any part of it.I called the florist directly and my call was answered by an amazing woman named Meg. They had just technically closed, but she was determined to get the issue resolved even though she was at no fault (since it was the online retailer that messed up the info). Meg canceled the online order and allowed me to place the order directly with her so that she could make an even better bouquet at the same price. She even committed to immediately delivering the new bouquet to my mother, on a Sunday, even though the shop had closed.I’m sure today was chaotic for this florist, and I’m sure this kind woman had other obligations after work, but she went above and beyond to make the situation right and ensure my mom got the perfect bouquet for Mother’s Day. And I cannot express how thankful I am for Meg’s help, which went above and beyond standard customer service… it was genuine love and compassion for another human and I’m tearing up just writing this. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, and IDF will forever be my go-to florist moving forward.Meg, thank you for your grace and compassion. You’re an absolutely gem.

This year I sent her the arrangement with the 2020 piece “Hero’s Welcome”. The arrangement was delivered and it was the wrong one. The company refused to refund me and said there is no guarantee they can deliver the exact piece even though I received a confirmation email with a picture of what I ordered.

While quite lovely, it WAS NOT what I ordered. I contacted my hometown florist who had wired the order. She in turn contacted this vendor who stated they call what I ordered a ‘dish garden’ so they made the unilateral decision to send the hydrangea. So I wasted my money. Would not recommend this florist because of this experience and the fact they did not clarify the order or offer to correct their mistake.

Michael Filosa: The second we walked in on the first warm Saturday, we had someone ask us if there was anything we were looking for. It was packed. He took us straight to the Fuchsia plants. He even took it to the counter for us. Price was considerably cheaper than the one we got last year from a different greenhouse. Only difference was these haven’t flowered yet but we got the plant a little later last year. Definitely will go back, based on customer service alone.

Dana Raby: I called Lopshire Flowers in the past few weeks to retain their business for a fall event. Upon calling, I was warned of how expensive my needs were and that they may or may not be able to help me - prior to hearing what my actual order was. When I asked for a consultant to work with to plan ahead, I was told I'd receive a call. I am still waiting for that call...Historically I've had great service here, but the person I spoke with assumed I a) could not afford the flowers I needed and b) required more attention than I actually do. I was really surprised by this. I had called ahead to see if the store was available and to learn what process I needed to follow to make sure service was possible. I was also willing to defer to the florists to help me determine what was reasonable but the person I spoke with seemed annoyed that I had called in the first place. In the future I'll visit the store in person or use another florist.

Lauren Davis: Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience here for my wedding. We were treated very poorly by the owner. When we walked in, we were told no one else had an appointment for the day. However, we sure did. I called initially and the week before to confirm as well to secure an appointment. The owner refused to allow us to make all the pieces we needed for my wedding which was the next day. She stated she had to make them and she “didn’t have time” but we thought it was a DIY place so that was confusing. This led to my new mother in law going without a corsage which I felt horrible about. The owner seemed annoyed by our presence and was not helpful in sharing the process with us. She then blamed us for not telling her what we needed when we called to make the appointment but we did tell her what was needed. It seems she forgot to take note when we called. Her husband was present and was kind; he seemed embarrassed by her behavior and was trying to make it better. She seems quite unhappy overall which made for such a sad and irritating experience which is not what you want to have for your wedding. Due to the experience, it seemed overpriced. We never received details or invoice on pricing so we had no way to calculate what we owed which seemed questionable and unprofessional. I wish her happiness; I know hurt people, hurt people. I understand many people are currently overworked and that can effect business. However, I’d rather do elsewhere and would suggest others to do the same.

Vicious 33: These people are straight up rude. I will no longer be dealing with this company for any of my floral needs.

Miranda Beck: Lady was so rude when we were trying to pick out a boutique. We ended up leaving because we felt so uncomfortable. When I asked questions she acted like I was a complete idot and was super mean. We left and went to morning flowers off of wells, they were super nice and got me taken care of immediately.

Mason Judt: I really enjoyed my experience at the DIY florist! The flowers turned out beautifully and we had a great time making the arrangements. My guests couldn't believe we made them ourselves! The only issue I had was staying within budget when I had to increase the number of tables. Overall, it was much cheaper than using another florist. I would highly recommend them!

Jena Kvas: I was really excited for this part of the wedding planning. A DIY florist is a GREAT concept and business idea. The ladies working there were talented in making beautiful arrangements, but the actual DIY experience was upsetting. The ladies were rude and unprofessional. One of the employees was trying to instruct one of my bridesmaids but didn’t know her name (understandably) but just said “Hey you, you’re doing that wrong” while snapping her fingers. I felt so bad that my friends had to deal with that. I then went to go pick of the flowers day of and the lady goes, “They’re making the bride pick of the flowers?” And “Of course they send the person with the smallest car.” Like I said, they’re talented at making beautiful arrangements but their attitudes towards their costumers were upsetting.

Rachel Sowles: She was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to the flowers I wanted and more importantly, staying within my budget!

Connie Frantz: Went here for my daughters wedding. They all had a good time making the flowers and they turned out nice. I’m only giving them 2 stars because when they delivered them they forgot the flowers for 16 tables. It was on Sunday so when I called the phone number of course no one answered since it was a Sunday. I had to have someone go get some flowers. Tried to match the ones we did have but couldn’t get the exact same colors so the tables did not all match. I did get a refund for the flowers we were missing plus a little more for the mistake but feel it should have been more. That’s kind of a big mistake on someone’s wedding day. My suggestion to future brides would be to make sure you get a cell phone number just in case.

B G: my bridal party and I went in to make our own boquets. I'm giving them 2 stars because the boquets did turn out pretty, but the personality or mood of the ladies helping came off rude. My friend came in 5 minutes after we started and I showed her the picture of what we were trying to make. The lady helping us asked her if she knew what to do, and my friend said "not really" and laughed after. Then the lady replied "well did you look at the picture!? What's wrong with you?!". We thought she was joking, but she didn't laugh after and that left the room feeling very awkward. A few other things like that happened throughout the appointment, but they would go on and be nice and compliment our boquets. Kinda seemed like they were back and forth with sounding rude and then nice. But it's supposed to be a fun time with the girls before the wedding. So I would say to just lighten up a bit and be able to make it enjoyable for everyone. We are paying not only for the flowers but also a good experience.

Gerald Vandeveer: Adore this place, they did an amazing job with a bouquet for my daughter. Super kind and friendly gentleman took great care of me. I was very pleased and will be back when I need flowers again.

Laura K: I went to this place looking for a fun and unique experience for my wedding - making our own flowers and bouquets. From the get-go, the woman I worked with was very brusk and abrasive. At the first meeting, I thought it might have just been the result of a bad day, but she was just as rough the day we made our flowers. The bouquets turned out ok, but they would have looked better coming from the florist who made the regular alter arrangements for the church. Also, even though we had called to change our order slightly several weeks in advance, the changes were not reflected in the final products when we arrived to make our things. We eventually got it sorted out, but the overall experience with this business was very disappointing. It really wasn't enjoyable because of the way we were treated by the staff. No smiles, no joking, just abrasive instruction & correction, and (in my opinion) extremely unprofessional complaining about the previous customer that day. I was really looking forward to this through the whole planning process and it did not live up to expectations at all. I really wish it would have.

Sep: Love the concept. Flowers turned out very pretty but it was 100% not what we asked for. Feel like it was what the designer wanted and we just made them. She was contacted multiple times with the change to make sure everything was confirmed and when we walked into the door to have our diy night it was what she orginally wanted and not what we asked for. Never said anything to her because first, there isn't a whole lot you can do and second, she is very unapproachable. I had a bad feeling to begin with and should have stuck with my gut to shop around. She didn't listen very well. So with this being said I give it only two stars mostly for poor customer service on the design end. Very affordable and nice fresh flowers, but if you want something specific make sure you put your foot down and double or triple check to make sure all is correct!

J Kahl: I ordered flowers from here for my parents 40th anniversary celebration and the flowers were just beautiful. They were nice and fresh and very reasonably priced. My step mom was very happy with her bouquet. I'm using this place again in a few weeks. I went in here last week to look at their white roses, they had a few pink roses that were blown and were going to be thrown away. The owner gave me two of those pink roses because they were just so beautiful and over a week later they are still standing tall and beautiful!
