Manofmystery: Our old garage door was on its last leg. It was an old wooden door that was peeling on the bottom and very drafty. The tension coil snapped in half and I was unable to get our garage door to open. Chris from upright door met with me right away and was very open to what I was looking for in a new garage door unit! The new door is so much quieter and a lot safer. Our old-style 2-button opener on the inside of the garage wall was replaced with a much easier single button with an overhead light access button on the side. We got battery backup in case of power outage, motion sensor in the doorway to detect movement along with a mounted keypad. They put in brand new tracking and new seals so it is much more insulated from the outside! Looking forward to using this new garage door for many years to come!

Neither my husband nor myself are very technical, and we struggled to get the new codes into the opener and into our remotes. The lady who answered the phone was so nice and polite and told me she had a technician at a job but they could get here right after. Joseph (the technician) called maybe 30 minutes later saying he was on the way. He had everything fixed and ready to go by 10am. It was such a relief seeing as how we had a funeral to go to by 1pm. Granted this was the era before mainstream smartphones and GPS. So stopped at Raynor's to ask for directions, or if they knew where Summit was.I was told by the sales person to either buy something from the store or to leave. I then asked for them to search google maps, or if they had a local phone book....I was then threatened.."I'm going to call the police if you don't leave right now. You're not a customer so get out."I haven't been back since. Since when is asking for directions justifiable to calling the police?

Julie Shalley: We made our way to the business and were received well. We discussed our needs which was a shed/garage type building to be put up on our property. We paid the installments as were required. It did take a while for the shed to be built and installed. It was installed while we were not there and it was done well. However; when we saw it the next morning it was not the correct color. We immediately contacted the company to see what could be done. I must say we got the run around. The first person they asked about the color said, "It's close enough." Finally, the owner, Paul, came out and he saw that it was a cream/yellow instead of a darker sand/brownish color. He said he would make it right. The winter went by and nothing. We contacted them in the Spring and the owner said, "He thought it was already taken care of." He said they would find a way to make it right. All we were asking for is that they repaint it. That was months ago and no one came, no one called. We have bought the paint and painted it ourselves. I discovered this company on Facebook marketplace, and made contact with Travis initially. I have to say, the entire process from initial consultation to final delivery was seamless and handled with extreme professionalism! The quality of the building I was delivered was well above average construction quality, I’ve been in the construction industry for almost 20 years and was seriously impressed with the build quality these guys had! Lastly, their delivery driver, whom has been delivering sheds for this company for approximately three years, was nothing short of a wizard. He threaded the building through a difficult wooded property and got it placed within inches of where I had specified. What a great place to get much needed outdoor furniture that is great quality.

Blaine Chambers: Had them out to replace springs in my garage door in March. Springs needed to be special ordered and they were installed late May. The door has not worked right since, springs were not the same size as before and were put in different spots from the originals. I mentioned it during install and was told they were moved to accommodate the spring sizing. I had them out twice during the "warranty period" because the door would not shut all the way on one side and it just didnt seem to operate as before. I was intially told that it would take up to 90 days for the springs to properly adjust but I insisted they come out anyway. The trailing/tension cables were adjusted both times and the last time I was told it was not under warranty but since he couldn't get ahold of anyone at the office he would just mark it as warranty. Next time I called because it was still not working correctly I was told it would not be covered under warranty. It's continuing to be an issue, my door creaks and groans when closing ,one sides cable is sloppy after it shuts, one side has a gap over one inch and it seems to have an extreme amount of pressure. It surges forward after the button is pressed and rocks back and forth until it balances out. I'm waiting for the day that something breaks free and it falls.If you need anymore more than a standard garage door replacement I would 100% not recommend them. 1k out the door and left me with a definite safety issue.

C G: My review is in addition to Tristan Moyer's review. In response to over head door, I did not ask the technician to take and dispose of the bottom panel of my garage door. He asked and I told him I wanted to keep it in case we could get it fixed and put back up ourselves. I told him we could dispose of the panel ourselves if need be. My boyfriend was out of town at the time. Which is why I wanted to keep the door as is, until he could see it. The technician told me it could not be repaired by us, and again he asked if I wanted him to take the panel. Because he had already cut the cables and took the door down I gave up trying to salvage anything and told him he could go ahead and take it. Not being very knowledgeable about garage doors myself, I feel like it all would have gone differently had Tristan been home.
Tristan Moyer: I was out of town my girlfriend backed into the garage door. Told her to call overhead door to get a "on fixing it. The technician told her the door couldn't be fixed and that we needed a new door and it'd be 2000 to $3000. When I got home the cables were cut on the door and he took the bottom panel to dispose of it. From what I seen I could have easily fixed it myself now I have to get a whole new door. I called overhead door and asked if I could speak with the technician to ask him why he did that they told me I could not speak with the technician. About 5 years ago I had these people install a garage door opener at my old house very professional And affordable I guess times have changed. I definitely would not recommend this company.
Kimber Chang: The customer service folks were rude and curt. I paid several hundreds of dollars for repairs and the key pad code still isn’t working even after installing a new one 1 month out. The tech seemed irritated working on my repairs despite my efforts to be polite and courteous. Would not recommend.
Mitch Fisher: I used Overhead door for a property I manage. They were having a hard time figuring out what was going wrong with the opener, and they had to come out multiple times. In the end the opener ended up being bad and we had to order a new one. Overhead Door actually put all the previous balance toward the new opener because of how long it took. No one is perfect, but it's good to know that the people you are working with will make it right if things go south.

However, when the guy showed up he took one look at the door and said he didn't have the parts he needed so he'd be back "in a day or two". Two days passed without contact and my wife called and the receptionist appeared to have no idea who we were or that we had requested to have work done. No follow up from the guy who came out to the house either. We went with another company. Not impressed by the lack of communication and apparent disorganization when it comes to logging and tracking potential jobs.
Tater Tots Gaming: Great place. They replaced my entire garage door opener, I mean the entire assembly, within a few days of me calling, and they did it for a fantastic price. Brandon was really good to us and looked out for us the whole way. I appreciate the service guys, new unit is wonderful.
