Rik Charpia: I was very disappointed in the outcome of the visit. When I called to set up the services I stated exactly what another company had did and why they could not find the problem with my generator (didn't have the software to scan ECM for errors). I stated on the phone that I needed the ECM scanned for errors. Well, when the technician arrived and did his inspection he gave me the same information that I got from the other company. I even showed him the paper results from the other company before he started. He then tells me that he doesn't have the capability to scan the ECM because he didn't have the lap top to do the scan. My first thought was why the hell did you even come when I told the schedular that is exactly what I needed done. The service quote SRE69960 even says "Scan ECM for any fault codes" So why did my credit card get charged for $440.41 if you didn't do what I asked for? I was told to call a John Deer company to have come scan the ECM. That's what I paid for. $440.41 for someone to tell me to call John Deer. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!

Brian Fredricks: Horrible experience! I dropped my Toro walk behind mower off at Marks Garden Shoppe on 9/30/22. I shared with the guy, James Marks, that I just had purchased (from them the day before) the float bowl gasket and the carburetor bowl gasket and installed them along with a new spark plug. He said, "you're close to getting it running." I just wanted them to fix it so it would run. He shared that it would be five weeks until it was fixed. I put $25 deposit down when I dropped it off. Five weeks went by and I didn't hear from them that it was fixed but only an estimate of what it might cost, via text, from another person. I tried calling several times and got a voice mail automated system. When I finally got through to them, they said there were other mowers ahead of mine and the lady was very rude. At 8 weeks later (on 11/25/22), they finally called me to say it was done. When I went in to pick it up, they said they put new gaskets in it. I reminded them that I had just purchased the gaskets (from them) and put them in myself (the day before I dropped it off). They went to the back to get my mower and supposedly my old gaskets - these looked very old. These were not the new ones that I put in. The mower wouldn't start until James removed the spark plug and smelled it and then removed the air cleaner and told me that it needed two gaskets which it already had in it. He checked with the female at the check out desk and then removed one of the gaskets. The mower finally started for him after he put everything back together. I used my checking account debit card to pay for the charges. On the way home, I noticed my bill had a line item charge for $5.90 "credit card processing fee." I called on Monday and he said it was my bank that charged the fee. When I called my bank and talked to two persons, they both said that my bank did not charge for checking account debits. I called James back at Marks Garden Shoppe and shared this with him. He then denied that it was his bank that charged but said it was Visa/Mastercard charges. I felt like this was a loong wait to play the moving cup game and be over charged for parts my mower didn't need and that the mower was not running when I picked it up 8 WEEKS LATER. The lady was very rude to me a couple of times on the phone and in person as well. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL AND I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL.
