Greater Fort Wayne Inc.: what do users think?
Pierce Frick: I have been going through the internship for the last year and have been loving it! They sponsor workshops to make you a better worker if you are accepted into their program and during summer they help you find a host company to give you experience and they pay for your housing in Fort Wayne. Great organization with a great purpose.
Christopher Sanchez: Top notch organization and the way a chamber should be operated.
Dan Swartz: GFW is the combination of Fort Wayne's former Chamber of Commerce and the Allen County Economic Development Alliance. This is the main economic development organization in Fort Wayne, and is attempting to enhance the city's economy and quality of life.

Allen County Division of Family Resources: what do users think?
sarah ludemann: I turned in documents, had a 3 way call with a bank and was promised food stamps the next day. Next day comes around and I don't have any. I call them again and the messed up all the documents and said it would take at least 2 days. Guess I won't be eating.
oo zine: Their employees are very rude.
Seth R: They won’t stop filing applications on my behalf. I don’t qualify any longer but they keep trying to get me approved after I asked they stop. I just got a letter stating I am approved but I am well over the income threshold. I’m going to end up being charged by the state for insurance I never asked for.
Cassandra Rogers: I wish there was a zero star! How are we supposed to find comfort in getting assistance and help when your employees are so rude and disrespectful. Skipping over numbers calling out acting as if we are not listening, then acting as if you’re going to throw hands secretly talking to another employee. I have never witnessed so much disrespect in a government assistance office. I’m completely disgusted. I only needed to fax papers it makes me never want to step foot back in that office! I unfortunately really need the food stamps I receive but I do not need the disrespect! Reevaluate some of your disrespectful employees!
SAR BAN: Seriously the worst place ever! They will keep asking for documents that you’ve already turned in a million times and will try to close your case every possible way lol. Like if the job ain’t for you get a new one.
Seth Bliss: I've been getting denied assistance for the last 3 years. I have 4 children that need to eat. They keep asking for more and more documents. I don't know how many times I've turned everything in and they always seem to find another problem that needs more documents
Billy “Bubba”: Won't actually help families in need! So sad I wonder where all the government money really goes 🤔
Ahmad Ali: Had a snap telephone interview scheduled for 6/15/2020 @ 11am. I waited all day for them to call me and they never did. Then I look u my case status online and see that they had marked me as a “no show” for my telephone interview but they never called me. So now I’m going to have to go up there and see them in person to find out who handled my snap case and why did they lie about calling me and marking me as a ‘no show”.
Jason Stromberg: Who better to deny food resources than a disabled diabetic in need of help, just wanted to thank those who went out of their way to take from someone in dire need.
Maria Stevens: Posting this under a pseudonym to protect myself. I've had a legal name/gender marker change and have gone through the motion of updating them with the court order, as well as the one to seal my previous identity. Not only did they not wipe my old name when the court provided an order to do so, they blurted it out today in front of people in the sitting area. Then, they blamed it on transferring to a new system during the pandemic. Ya right, that's becoming all too common an excuse for people who've been rude when you were forced to deal with them remotely. Now I need to go in to have it updated again? I'm going through with it, but I'm also going to explore what legal options I have, since this change was under State Administrative Rule 9, which concerns matters of safety of the person, regarding sealing the name.
David Redmond: Nice people when they want to be and some days you get in faster then others
Chit Moeoo: I had to wait more than 10 min to talk to them and as soon as they pick up and I told them the reason I’m calling. They hang up on me.
Alex Bilger: They're constantly doing illegal things and leaving you at fault for their mishandlings. I asked for some help, I'm a single mom to a newborn, I applied for Tanf and was told that because I make over 200 a month, I couldn't get any help, but if I quit getting assistance from unemployment (getting a whole 100 a week) then I'd get a whole 100$ a month.. and when I said that doesn't even cover rent, I WAS DIRECTED BY AN EMPLOYEE TO CONTACT A HOMELESS SHELTER!!! All of their employees are RUDE, UNCARING, UNHELPFUL PEOPLE! They illegally stopped my insurance and SNAP benefits multiple times, as it's illegal to deny or discontinue any benefits until the end of the year.
Nyi Soe (Ashraf Ali): Burmese interpreter are very rude, disrespect and impatient. I was there for a couple times and every single time they are all the same. Super disrespect to the people who doesn't speak English.
Shira Banks: Very rude and unprofessional they hire anybody
Aries Femme: Awesome experience.
Iceis Sutton: Rude impatient employees it’s ridiculous no one seems to care at this location it’s sad they need help ASAP
Tanya Dalton: This place stays packed with people you sit there forever only to have someone be rude to you when you finally get called. I understand the work can be stressful, but so can someone having to ask for help because things in there life has changed.
Briseis Pecina: Employee went out of her way to help me with a copy I needed. Instead of waiting in line after pulling a number, she helped me right away instead of waiting for something so simple. That is a major gesture especially at the division of family services. Usually it is alot like going to the DMV. Lol
Star Light: Just run down building
Chris Smith: What do you expect for a welfare office in the hood?

Brightpoint: what do users think?
Mildred Lopez: i am not understanding the process as i applied for assistance with a disconnect notes and still put what i can when i can so they don't get shut off BUT YESTERDAY was the day and my gas was shut off i called to find out about appt or assistance they said they have my application but that there is nothing they can do. Am I that dumb please explain this process because I don't get it. Now no gas means no heat meant no hot meals as my stove is also gas no hot water for showers. just sad really just sad What must i do to get assistance?
Jeremy putman: They don't fellow school schedules for their classes outside of Fort Wayne school so they make it harder on families outside of Fort Wayne's school to do stuff for spring break and holidays
Tammy Campbell: I gave them all of my information they said they were going to pay for my utilities and rent and then a month later they denied my assistance. Had utilities in someone else's name because of my credit and they denied the claim to pay utilities because they were in someone else's name. Landlord has month to month rent and not a current lease because he will not make another lease and they said that because I don't have a current lease they will not pay for the rent. Me and my daughter are desperate for help and they I don't feel they are fair in their decision-making process they deny people that really need the assistance. Don't waste your time trying to get assistance through them .
Rose Ann: Great time in west palm beach
Brian Scherschel: Shifty rude organization with unhelpful people. They aren't what they say they are.
dayshia bean: Given the short amount of time that I have been on the voucher program for childcare, I have not had a great experience at all. Neither has my childcare provider. They make it very hard for low income individuals to get help with childcare and now my childcare provider is contemplating whether to even keep the voucher because it is such a hassle. The facility seems very unsure of what’s going on most of the time and refers to the “state” a lot for there problems. They are not sympathetic about anyone’a situation and do not message back on emails.I have personally been having issues for a month now with my baby out of daycare and they don’t want to confront that they have messed up and just fix the problem.
Alexandra LeRoy: Would give 10
Steven Rich: Quiet, nice.
Sandi Brown: Such helpful, concerned and just plain nice people.
Blu Gump: Very helpful and kind people, it's a little frustrating with the COVID rules because you have to drop everything in a drop box or make an appointment. But other than that I really appreciate the help they give.
Deashlon C: The staff members at this organization are extremely rude! Each time that I’ve had to drop off paperwork to Brightpoint I have had to interact with someone with terrible customer service skills .. I understand that work is probably chaotic for the Brightpoint employees, however you would think they would be more empathetic and courteous to the public. Today I had a lot of paperwork to drop off and I was unaware that the lobby is closed. I rang the bell and one employee came to the door and told me how loud and annoying the bell is for them inside the office 🤯😡 .
Rochelle Perry: Great service
Lisa's Favs: Great bunch! I can't imagine doing their job. Seems pretty demanding. They have good hearts. God Bless them for their help😊
Toya Warren: There is currently a family support agent answering the phone and responding rudely. She will hang up and when I call back she places me on hold and answered the phone with “hello, hello??” as if she couldn’t hear me and hung up the phone. 9/24 between 9am and 9:30 am. Please investigate because clients can’t get the help they need with her working for this agency. She may be named “Angelia” if she is providing the correct name. She initially did not provide a name but I had someone else call from another number and that is the name she hesitantly provided.
Angel Marie: To think that your forcing children to go with out the education they deserve because their parents make to much.... really shows how much you people want to help these kids....
Kathy Marzion: My grandson was brought to us and was left. I had no paperwork, no birth certificate, no nothing. The lady at the school helped me get in touch with JoEllyn at Brightpoint. There has been two times when I wanted to throw my hands up and give up. This woman is amazing! If it wasn’t for her I would have given up! She is GREAT! ThanksKathy Marzion
vanessa Lopez: I was told I was approved in February to assist me with my energy bill. I've been told multiple times I've been approved for x amount of money, to avoid my disconnection notice on march 12th. The credit has still not been put towards my account. I have been calling daily and for the last week the line says to call back on there next scheduled business day. I am in fear that I wont get credited before my families power is shut off.
Mik Rain: I called to get assistance with my newborns insurance. The first day the lady who helped me was very helpful and called the insurance company as well as had me send pictures of my sons birth certificate and ssc so she could try to push it through. That was three weeks ago. I’ve asked for updates four times since then and only gotten a response once. If you’re going to ask for personal documents then the least you could do is respond when asked for updates. I told them that I’m now being billed for all of my sons appointments because the insurance still hasn’t gone through and I still have not received a response. I thought these people were meant to help?
P Boo: They have been a great help for me all employees have treated me fair and I appreciate all of you
Linda Barrow: They have been a big help to me. Thank you
