Don't fool around with Mother Nature: Hotel is in need of some updating, but overall nice and clean. We had a great time at the bar, wings were excellent. Major complaint is breakfast! We travel for work and stay at a lot of Holiday Inn hotels. This one said they have a full service restaurant so we went for breakfast. They said all they had was a buffet, so we said, and thought, it would be fine. We were charged $25 for 2 and it's the exact same breakfast as every other Holiday Inn has for FREE. Hard biscuits, everything was luke warm. If you can't offer better than what we had today, it should be free. Cut up cantaloupe and blueberries are a decent but cheap fruit offering.

Dan Petrowski: Friendly front desk service, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. We stayed 2 nights during the holidays, and had excellent service from the front desk staff. The buffet style breakfast in the restaurant was good, but waitstaff service was limited at best (we never even received drink service during our entire meal, but other tables did). The room décor is somewhat dated, especially when compared to other Holiday Inns, but everything is in good condition and very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pool or workout facility during our visit, but it looked nice. The hotel is located directly across the street from the local Arena, and was centrally located for easy access to most of Fort Wayne. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again during future visits.

Natalie Everson: Terrible experience! I left because of the front desk receptionist.My friend had booked 2 rooms. One was on the 6th floor and one was on the 5th floor, but we didn't know the room numbers. There were 7 of us between the 2 rooms. My friend and I were the last to arrive around 11pm. There were 2 front desk receptionists. One was assisting another guest. My friend and I stood in front of the other one. She appeared to be counting her drawer at the end of her shift so we waited. She didn't acknowledge us, or say anything like "I'll be right with you." My friend said the person's name who reserved the room. The receptionist was rude from the moment she opened her mouth. "What?" She replied. I said we were trying to check in and repeated the name of the person who made the reservation. She stated if our name isn't on the reservation it would be a security violation to give us the room number.Now, I understand that they can't just hand out keys to anyone who walks in and asks for one and says someone's name. I get that. But instead of greeting us in a friendly manner or even looking up the reservation to see the details, she just blurted out that it would be a "security violation" to give out any information. From the time we entered until the time I left the facility, I was rudely spoken to by this young girl. Never a smile. Never a friendly greeting. Nothing.At one point she told me to stop yelling (I had not raised my voice at all.)We couldn't communicate with our friend who was already in the room because her cell phone had died.I've worked at top notch hotels. Here's how I would have handled it:If I was counting out my drawer, I would have set it aside and helped the guest or at least acknowledged and would have said, "Welcome to the Holiday Inn! I'll be right with you."How can I help you? You're checking in? What's the name on the reservation.Ok. I see it's under someone else's name, etc. I would have then checked to see if there were any notes (ie: other guest's names, etc) and then asked for an ID.If both rooms were listed under 1 person's name, clearly 1 person can't occupy 2 rooms. (The girl kept saying if we didn't make the reservation she couldn't give us a key. That's ridiculous since I've made plenty of reservations under 1 person's name and there are notes under the reservation with occupant's names or something.)If there were no notes or got to a point AFTER CHECKING THE RESERVATION where I couldn't give out a key, I would have offered to call the room for the guest trying to check in.Instead the girl kept talking over me, interrupting me, accusing me of yelling, etc. I was so flabbergasted at how rude she was treating us, that I said I couldn't stay. I grabbed some of my things to take to the car.A gentleman that works at the hotel (I'm not sure in what capacity) followed me out to my car and asked what happened. He told me they've had complaints about her before. (I was not surprised in the least.) As I explained what happened I started to cry. I was just shocked at how the whole thing escalated so quickly! He mentioned he would let his manager know the next day. We walked back inside so I could get the rest of my things. Our friend who was in the room on the 6th floor had come down to the lobby looking for us. She asked what happened and I was telling her the story. The front desk receptionist kept interrupting me even though I wasn't talking to her, I was talking to my friend.The receptionist was clearly leaving for the night so I waited to leave until she was gone because I didn't want to be in the parking lot with her alone. My friends wanted me to stay, but I was too upset so I ended up driving 3 1/2 hours home at 11:30am (arriving at home at 3:00am) instead of being able to stay with my friends.That receptionist does not belong in customer service!

I went out for something at 2 A.M. to find a bunch of little, little kids playing a game of hide and seek..When trying to tell the front desk staff, I was called a Karen and they said what do you expect us to do about it, to stop being a Karen..All the staff was beyond rude!! Miccah Baker: I would absolutely NOT spend your money here! I paid $200 for a king suite, there was food and hair on the sheets in the room, the pool is absolutely disgusting there was leaves in the pool, the pool is so tiny you can't swim when there is 10 kids in the pool, kids were loud all night throwing ice at our door, the breakfast is GROSS so plain and not much to choose from, we are going across the street to IHOP for breakfast and that's sad! Very disappointed I paid so much for my husband and I just to get a night away the motel 8 would have been way better than this place.
Linsey: Stayed here for 4 days and at first it seemed really nice place to stay but as the days went by things started showing up, like the shower curtain super loose which allowed water to leave the shower/tub made A very wet floor, then the toilet paper holder broke 5 times to we’re I had to fix it and to toilet paper kept falling off onto the floor lol 😝 then the next pain in the butt was turning the bathroom light on it was a button on the mirror far away from the door, not a good location at all. In the bedroom area itself the light fixture next to the bed was kinda falling down. I can say the bed was super cozy and the pillows were nice to sleep 😴 on as well. The room had a nice size refrigerator, and a microwave that didn’t burn your food. The hotel offers lots of amenities in regards to breakfast daily bar/restaurant in the evening and snacks and drinks and amenities in regards to bathroom needs for purchase. They do have a pool, but it was closed. All in all this place is decent for the value. I would stay again just hope they can get the few things fixed in the meantime.

Blake Swiatkowski: Stayed here for one night. Room and fitness center felt very clean. While I didn't have time for the pool, it also looked very well taken care of and clean as I walked by. I was hoping the bar would be open, but I didn't ask about it, so I'm not sure how their bar works. And the little outside courthouse area is adorable! Very nice stay!

The breakfast is basic but always tastes fresh and friendly smiles in the lobby and serving us. I wish the Jacuzzi was open, but it isn’t a deal breaker.I especially enjoy the Jacuzzi tub rooms. Such a relaxing experience. Sometimes the noise is a bit much, but the super comfy bed’s definitely balance it out.Thank you for your great service and hospitality.

Morgan Zahrt: We are a family of 5 with kids' ages 6yr, 4yr and 21months. The standard seemed to be not to clean the rooms or check to see if you needed anything exchanged, such as towels. Our trash was never taken out and often other guests left their trash in the hall. Staff was pretty much no where to be seen during the day after breakfast. I will not be staying at another Best Western after this experience. Not worth the money.
Troy Saunders: Stayed at the end of February for a concert and the first room we were booked into was directly next to an exterior door with a broken lock. When we went to let the front desk know, they said they were aware of the problem but hadn’t been able to get it fixed yet. We requested to be moved to a different room, and the receptionist acted quickly to move us to a new one, but it would’ve been nice to have not been put into a room next to an unsecured exterior door.

Lori Bennett: This is one of worst hotels I have ever stayed in. You messed up our rooms for as many as we had with us and wouldn't fix it. The pool you say is heated is barely luke warm. You had no hair dryers, no laundry bags. If you want to talk to anyone you have to talk to them through there kiosk. The only thing good was the breakfast and the lady was very nice. Will never stay here again
sabrina llamos: We were having car troubles nearby and was looking for a place to stay, unfortunately Best Western was all booked, but out of the dozen hotels we called, Kimberly was BY FAR the sweetest and most polite receptionist we spoke to. She was warm and kind upon answering the phone even at 3am, and was sweet and apologetic when she had to tell us there were no rooms available. If we could have, we would have stayed here for that interaction alone! If you see this Kimberly, I hope you know you're doing a wonderful job.

Ashley Stdennis: A picture is worth a thousand words! The room was filthy, the bedding was riddled with stains/bodily fluids. After finding a bug in the bed in the am, I was horrified to discover the stains all over the bedding. This hotel should be ashamed of the beyond below standards. I have been dealing with being over charged for the security deposit for three days now, countless hours on the phone. The manager will not return phone calls, instead emailed that he issued a 20% refund. Days later no refund and still and over charge on my account.

Kat Dunlap: This hotel was not at all what was expected based on the website and pictures. We got a one bedroom king suit and it was okay at best. All of the chairs and couches are covered in stains, the floor in the bathroom was all chipped up (like grout coming out all over) the walls in the bathroom Cleary were not cleaned as they had smudges of unknown things on them, the vent fan in the bathroom (which is face level) is covered in dust build up. The lobby was sooooo dirty. I mean it looks like they have never wiped of any of the higher touch areas other than the front counter and sundries counter and maybe Mop weekly. The elevators are steaming hot and filthy. They also have expired certifications on display. Both expired in mid 2022. The door to our room only opens if you turn the handle up which we were informed about upon check in. Overall I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Don't believe the website images.

Hanna Swartz: Looks like it’s under construction, but no signs indicating. We booked handicap accessible 2 queen room, but arrived and was told they only had a king bed. Doesn’t work for 4 people. Primary reason we chose this hotel was for the pool, which said open on website. When we arrived, it was closed. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.
Kevin Hunter: When booking this room for the evening. I was expecting just a generic typical hotel room. I was extremely impressed when entering to find myself in a small apartment. There is a small kitchen with a full sized fridge and freezer and microwave. The living room area has a couch, tv, and two dinner trays. The bedroom is huge with a very comfortable bed and also another tv. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be a returning guest.Food & drinks: They have a nice selection of sodas and snacks. They'll even charge it to your room. Also, the hot breakfast is a great way to start the morning!

Melissa Young: Hotel is at the back of an industrial park on the north side of Fort Wayne. It's near a major interchange, and traffic could be heard in my room. The hotel has plenty of parking.The building is old, and fixtures/furnishings have been updated to current Hampton standard, though some things (paint job on the doorframes, some wear on the furniture, etc.) could use a spruce. The floor in my room slopes noticeably (and very weirdly---seriously, who built this??), and there are loose/shaky tiles in the bathroom. But it's clean and tidy and perfectly serviceable.The channel guide lists about sixty channels, but I can't get half of them due to a "weak signal."And the room is dark (dim, with few lamps) even by hotel standards.Both the fitness center and pool were closed for "maintenance"/renovation. And I'm sure it's fine, but the elevator certification thing expired seven months ago.Staff friendly and professional. Standard Hampton breakfast.

Felecia Taylor: I would not recommend this place. They are under renovation & there's a horrible smell. The pictures on the website are not how the rooms look. They allowed guests to make all kinds of noise in the middle of the night. We made the mistake of picking the 1st floor. The noise level was horrible. It's line they were having a riot or party. What's crazy is the staff didn't do anything about it.
M2F: I’m a long standing Hilton Honors -Diamond member and I was thoroughly disappointed in the place. I thought it was dirty and had a funky smell. I even thought the front desk clerk was stoned. Very weird. When I talked to my colleagues from the area, they said never stay there. So disappointed. And I really like Hampton Inn’s. They did seem to be fixing up the place. The pool and gym were closed. But my heater did not function well. Had to kick the heat up to 77 to get it to warm up but it cycled between warm and cool air. The sink was dirty and… you get idea. I won’t stay here again. Sorry Hilton. Someone better do a walk thru and figure out an improvement plan.

Denise Schwartz: Upon check in there was no one at the front desk, which was no big deal because I had the digital key for check in. I then went to use the fitness center, only to find out it was closed for remodeling. There was NO mention of this on the app or website when I went to book. Had I known this, I would have stayed at a different hotel as I sit a lot for work so having a gym to get movement in is super important to me. I then went back to the front desk to get my complimentary waters and snack (I'm a diamond member), but there was still no one at the front desk. I waited for about 5 minutes, until finally clearing my throat to try and see if anyone was back there. I asked for my complimentary waters and snack - they gave me the waters but no snack (I also normally bring my own water bottle as there are places to fill it up in the fitness center, but, again, the fitness center was closed so I wasn't able to do that).The next morning I was working in the lobby due to the weather, and a staff member came and took the plate off my table before I was finished with it, and then she rudely told me "you're welcome" as if she was doing me a favor by taking something I wasn't finished with yet.I normally have very positive experiences with Hilton hotels, but save yourself the poor experience and stay somewhere else.

Adam Wallis: Location was perfect for where we needed to get to in the mornings. We stayed there because of the horrible weather over the Christmas holiday weekend.The room looked just like the website, it was nice and clean and had everything my brother and I needed. I think it was a suite on the 4th floor.So everything was great the first night except for the pool being out of commission for the first couple hours after checking in. So then the next morning I go to the elevator to go down to have breakfast and there is a, pardon the description, a pile of diarrhea in the corner of the little nook where the elevator was.So making a long story short there was another one of these in the pool room covered with towels. We told the several people, my brother and myself over the next couple days and nothing was done with it until the last day of our visit. I believe we stayed there three nights.The last night a pipe froze and the fire alarm rang for 20 minutes at 2 in the morning. And then the whole building lost ALL water. So we were not able to even shower before leaving.In summary it was a decent stay with some forseen weather problems and a halfass staff. I wish I remember names because some off the staff were quite lovely. Even with these issues I would stay in the suite again. It was a great room. Almost a full size fridge/kitchen. Great living room with a pull out loveseat, great TV lots of storage room as a door to close plenty of storage in that room as well lots of privacy for the bathroom. Besides all the s*** it was pretty cool to stay

She went theextra step to help me on my many needs I had during my trip. Phyllis Kopp: I work for an Association that has contracted a block of rooms for a meeting with this hotel. We haven't even had our meeting yet, but it's been incredibly difficult working with them. Every question I ask by email I have to ask twice because the 1st answer I get (if I get an answer) doesn't answer the question I asked. On a personal note, when I called to make my room reservation and asked for a handicap accessible room I was told I couldn't have one because the contract didn't contain any handicap rooms. (We've never had to specifically request handicap rooms when negotiating a contract.) I was eventually told I could get one outside of our contracted room block and I would have to pay more for a handicap accessible room. After going back and forth with the hotel, by the time they decided I could reserve a handicap accessible room, they were sold out of those rooms. I've been working with hotels for Board meetings and our yearly conference for almost 15 years. This has been one of the most difficult hotels I've worked with.
Becky VanderLaan: Terrible traffic noise all night long (and some booming noise that shook the room- may have been the elevator). None of us were able to sleep . I tried earplugs and my daughter slept with music playing in her AirPods all night but nothing drowned out the noise altogether. The rest of the hotel was fine- clean, comfortable, price was ok and nothing wrong with breakfast.

Snark Enterprises: Not a good experience. My room smelled like smoke, the carpet and couch had stains in several spots, and I had to ask for TP. Absolutely none in the room and I had just enough (left over from the previous guest) to use in order to go downstairs and get more.The bed would be OK for 2 nights but for a longer stay be prepared for back aches for those of us over 40.
Jeff Price: The Hampton Inn Downtown Fort Wayne is a nice newer hotel in the downtown area. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Rooms clean too. The reason for the 2 star review is due to the way they handle lines Connors Rooftop Bar. Every hotel I have stayed at gives priority to the hotel guests for line access vs the general public. We tried to have a meal at the restaurant and was told there was a long wait and hotel guests or status guests have no priority is seating. This might sound petty but it’s frustrating when you can’t even get (or quickly) into the hotel restaurant and outside public gets priority. Hopefully they can add priority seating to those staying or have status with Hilton.

Bob: Likely will not stay at this location again simply because of the rudeness and unprofessionalism of two front desk associates I worked with tonight. Both associates rudely argued with me over the purpose of needing a receipt for my overpriced (2) $4 water bottles. I paid with a company credit card and obviously needed a receipt. Because I didn’t ask for a receipt before I paid (most businesses ask the customer if they’d like a receipt, not the other way around ), I was told it’s physically impossible to provide. Then, both associates TOLD ME I didn’t need a receipt for the business expense. I DIDN’T REALIZE THEY PERSONALLY APPROVE MY EXPENSE REPORTS?? When I told the associates every expense on my business card needs a receipt, they laughed and said “well don’t yo company know you here? You’re shoulda asked to begin with.” Clearly, the associates here do not understand simple aspects of business travel, even though the hotel markets itself to business and convention travelers. Phyllis Kopp: When I called to reserve a room for a conference in that area in July, (as this is the conference hotel), I asked for a handicap accessible room. I was told I couldn't have one. I tried calling a couple of days later and once again was told I couldn't have a handicap accessible room. This time I was told that I could get one outside of the group's contracted block of rooms, but I would have to pay more. I had to call the corporate offices for Marriott to get a handicap accessible room in our contracted block of rooms.
Ryan Davidson: One of the worst experiences at a marriott property ever. Check in was very abrupt and not very pleasant at all. Room smelled like marijuana at entryway so that was pleasant with 2 young children. Decided to eat on property at conners. Went right at opening at 5pm and im assuming an employee (since she knew everyone working and hugging them etc) was extremely loud and obviously drunk. Was yelling some very inappropriate comments about anatomy parts. Back to room and smell again and noticed there was no sheets pillows etc for pull out sofa. Called front desk...no answer for hours? I mean come on. Sent message via app at 730pm response came at 7am the next day. WHAT? Thats service right there. Since status i asked for a late check out via app at 3pm. Went to room at 3pm all our stuff was bagged up and kicked out. When i asked at front desk they said sorry gold is noon. No im gold for life and currently platinum not that anyone ever asked. Wont be back thats for sure. Congrats on losing a customer. Marriott and i go way back and thats no way to treat people.
Dawn H: This place is terrible! The entire trip was a fiasco. The keys they gave me did not work, got new keys then finding my room was occupied. Then got a new room, but it wasn't registered as being vacant. So, I had people banging on the door that evening and the next morning asking why I was there! I explained what happened and went to the front desk. In the meantime, the toilet was running for hours so I fixed that myself. After speaking to the manager to get this rectified, I checked out the next morning. I then discover on my bill I was charged $250 for a smoking bill. I have never smoked! Now I have to wait 3-5 days for this to be resolved. Absolutely ridiculous, and poor quality for a Marriott Property. I will not be staying there again.

Lindsey: My family stayed at the Marriott Courtyard for an event at the Convention Center. While we were gone, our room was broken into and we had many valuable things stolen. We were beyond disappointed with the lack of concern on the part of the hotel. There was no urgency to figure out what happened and they were not proactive in any way. When we provided evidence and asked questions as well as requested action, they were dismissive. It took 2 days and numerous emails to even receive a call from the general manager. We were told that our card entered the room at a certain time in which we were not at the hotel. They are satisfied with that being their response. It is alarming that the only answer is that our card was copied, most likely internally during check in because we had ours on our bodies at all times. The hotel is dismissive but this is absolutely a public safety concern. The ramifications of card copying and entering hotel rooms are really endless. We have filed a police report.
Phil: CHILDREN!!! NOT SAFE!!!Do not stay here as it is not safe!We went to a gymnastics competition from 5pm-9pm across the street. At 6:20pm our room was broken into using a duplicate card matching the card issued to us when checking in. Management dismissive. Laptop, Apple Watch and AirPods were pinging 1.4 miles away. Police report made. Still nothing from Marriott. Informed management of the pinging location. 2 minutes later, pinging stopped. This is not safe for anyone traveling alone, with children or with anything of value. Courtyard by Marriott Fort Wayne refused to pass the lobby camera footage to the police until I told the police that there were cameras.

frank geiger: First of all the front desk staff were courteous and friendly but I did not enjoy my stay here. Probably the worst part was the bed sheets which were worn out with pilings on them making them very rough to the touch. The morning breakfast ran out quickly which left no cutlery nor milk for coffee. The elevator looked like something out of an industrial factory without any decorations that youd expect in a hotel. The little details really tie everything together, and it really makes your stay feel special. I was here for a week and was always happy to come back to the hotel at the end of the day. The Cafe is also top notch, serving a very nice cappuccino with a great area to sit, if you do not want to walk just around the corner to a walking street with other cafes and top notch restaurants.Would highly recommend The Bradley to anyone going to Fort Wayne, and will be staying here again if I return.

The only thing we didn't care for was house keeping attempting to enter our room 1 hour before checkout. It’s confusing and disturbs those who are trying to have breakfast. Breakfast is $13 for typical continental buffet unless you are in extended stay rooms. Fridge not working when we arrived, but overall very positive. I don’t think the vacuum being used is very good— it looked vacuumed but the bottom of my socks got very dirty just being there for a bit. Definitely a nice place.

Cami Jonelle: First time I’ve ever stayed here. It’s okay, the hotel itself is nice. A littleDated but clean. The hotel staff was kind and polite but I wouldn’t go as far as saying they were friendly. The breakfast was good. They did allow late check out which was greatly appreciated. It wasn’t that it was bad by any means I guess I just expected a little more from the Hyatt name. I will recommend in the future if someone is looking for a basic hotel.
mike smith: The staff was spectacular at what they did! I would swear check in went so quick that when she gave us our room keys I thought it was a magic trick. The location for what we were doing was great! Food,gas,shopping and some entertainment all right there. Now i must admit to the worst part. The company you bring will also have a sway here. Just please don't stay there with my wife, she will bring you down.Rooms: What you would expect from this price point. Very nice with no crack heads.

Karla Stewart: The bed was really comfortable and the highlight of my stay. The heating unit never worked. Reported it many times, they said they "worked on it" just to come back to my room at night and find it not working again. The TV also stopped turning on. Cleaning service was never provided during my 4 night stay. They told me the last day I had to have it requested and that it needed to be scheduled before a certain time. This was never mentioned to me during check-in.
