Zach Lara: When stopping in for the first time, we were greeted within 3 seconds of entering while assisting customers by Alexa J. Throughout the interaction, she had had a smile and genuinely cared about the effort she was putting in. She has raised the bar for what used to be an industry standard and we appreciate that. So much that I am leaving this and will be calling directly to the manager as well to relay this information.

I got two scoop sundae with butter brickle and bourbon pecan pie with caramel drizzle and pecans it was literally the chefs kiss. My cousin got bubble wrap cone with butter brickle and coffee ice cream. They had an unbelievable array of flavors to choose from. Definitely will visit again when I'm in the area! Highly recommend!!

Lauren: This is an adorable and delicious ice cream shop and we are lucky to have it close to our home! We love having playdates with our kids' friends here and sitting on the patio in the warm weather. The ice cream flavors are delicious and always rotating so there are new choices! I also love taking my vegan friends here, they have at least three vegan ice cream flavors on hand PLUS they have non-dairy milk to make vegan shakes!!!! Last visit I tried an apple pie type ice cream with caramel sauce, and their waffle "chips" on the side. Heaven! We love that they are open year-round too because it's always a good time for ice cream (but they do have hot chocolate and coffee too)! Will be back very soon I'm sure!

It's a very small location so during their busy hours it feels very cramped and because the process of making the ice cream rolls takes a little while even when they're not super busy, when they are it can take a really long time.
Katie Topps: My first time here was a few weeks ago on President's Day with 2 of my kids. I feel like it took a really long time considering there was only 1 family ahead of us. One of my kids wanted a milkshake, so when it was finally our turn to order, they said they couldn't make shakes because they were out of the ice cream and their shipment didn't come due to the holiday. I had a very upset kiddo! I feel like they should've had a sign out stating that so he could've decided on something else while we were waiting. He is autistic, so making a decision quickly is not possible.The ice cream was good, but so expensive!!!Also, there were 3 workers there that day, and the male employee kept complaining about not having had a break yet.

The lobby was kind of a mess with floors that desperately needed to be swept and napkins all over the place. It wasn't really an inviting atmosphere for an ice cream shop..it was kind of plain jane with no decor..I guess we all had expected more of a lively bright colorful candy/decor/music filled ice cream shop like we've been to before. As for the toppings go..they were quite simplistic..not really a crazy amount of choices..good choices..but nothing special.. again we were assuming there would be insane amount of choices like other ice cream shops..especially when you start throwing prices at customers like that.

Jessica Aleman: A stop in down town Fort Wayne should include a stop at this sweet, little place! The ice cream is delicious. I reccomend the peanut butter ice cream or the rasberry-pomegrante sorbet. The prices are reasonable too. $6 for a good sized sundae with a cookie at the bottom. Enjoy!

They let us move some tables together and we played music on the jukebox and had a fun time. The atmosphere there is amazing. Our out of town family loved it too!
Joshua Raber: Rusty's is AMAZING! They have a huge menu with something for everyone. They have dairy free oat milk vanilla ice cream which is perfect for those like me who have a lactose allergy. I got an egg nog shake and it was fantastic. Each flavor is cleverly named after an old tv show character, band, or song. They have classic games like Chutes and Ladders and Candy Land that guests can play while they enjoy their tasty frozen treats. A fully functioning jukebox is posted up in the corner where guests can select musical classics while they enjoy their frozen treats. If you're feeling extra competitive you can drop a quarter into their old school arcade game and shoot for a high score! I highly recommend Rusty's and look forward to filling my punch card for a free dessert!

Cara Torres: Zesto's! What's not to love? Our family go tos are lemon-lime slush floats, chocolate malts, Heath or Oreo Razzles, and turtle sundaes. The staff is always friendly, and you can always ask if they have any messups in the freezer in case you're not sure what you want and you don't feel like paying full price. Zesto's one of our favorite parts of summer.

We like that they have most of their menu in frozen yogurt as well as ice cream because of some dairy intolerance issues. The dipped cones are great. The razzle is like a blizzard. There are a few places to sit outside and eat your treat 🍦The parking lot can get crazy, so if it’s after 5 we park next door to avoid all the people and cars in the drive through.

Gayle Fick: I've always enjoyed seeking out home grown ice cream shops in my travels and when I moved here for a job a few years ago I found two. Sadly, only one survived. But it is has been my favorite. Zestos has been a local favorite, most of them are franchises. But the first one I discovered is The First One, located at Broadway and Creighton, and has been there for over 60 years. They do some amazing things with their soft serve, my faves are their hot fudge sundae and Vernon's float, reminiscent of my many years in Michigan.
Nelson M: If you’re looking for frozen yogurt or soft serve ice cream this is the place to go. People in Fort Wayne really like this institution although if you’re looking for unique ice cream flavors this is not the place. The parking is ample but it may be difficult to get out if the drive-through line is really busy. Otherwise they have quite a selection of Sundays, floats, and razzle‘s which is their equivalent of a Mc flurry with different mixins.
