Rachel Adkins: Overall a terrible experience. If you deal with upper management you are fine, but dealing with the regular sales staff was not fun.I eventually purchased the vehicle, but only after calling the CarMax complaint line and being contacted by the GM of the branch directly and dealing with him. He did what he could to make the situation right.If I had to do it all over again, I would not go through CarMax to purchase a vehicle.

Caleb was always willing to help and go further with the purchase. They stayed over until 8:15pm to get the deal finished. Only issue is their computer system....always gives problems when purchasing and needs a better system. Other than that , I'm a very satisfied customer and am very happy with the service both online and in person with my new Fusion!

Darian Massengill: Came here to sell my vehicle from Michigan after stopping by my local jeep dealer. I was only going to get $1,000 back from them and Carmax was able to give me $3,900 back. We initially brought the jeep on Thursday, their system was down so we couldn't complete the deal and had to come back today, Monday. Because of the inconvenience, Max, our associate, and John, the manager, filled up our car with gas BOTH days and gave us $50 for dinner. Max and John were both wonderful to work with. So professional and courteous. Got us a great deal and got everything done as quickly as they could to get us back on the road to Michigan. While we were waiting on Thursday, we took a look at the vehicles they have for sale just out of curiosity, and they truly do have some really nice vehicles at decent prices. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Will be sending my family here for future car needs. If you have a bad experience here, you might be the problem because these people are all kind and wonderful.

Chris Wilson: The people working there are great. I would say after purchasing 5 cars and selling 6 there in the last 2 years I was happy with the service until recently. I bought a Mercedes’ for 48k. 4.5 months after buying it the car broke down and I was told it needs a new engine. Mercedes quoted the repair at nearly 40k. I’m stuck with a ridiculously high car payment and a costly repair. Mercedes Benz doesn’t make engines that go bad after 68k miles. Ask Carmax to help resolve this issue (because it is outside the warranty and if I would have got carmax warranty it would have been outside that too). Carmax says that can’t do anything except refer me to a mechanic. The used car dealership down the block give 2 year 50k warranty on their cars complimentary. Not this corporation. They care more about the bottom line. My future purchases will be with Driveway or Carvana
Michael Ramey: I was promised a reimbursement on lunch...I sent in the receipt to the salesperson....no reimbursement. I was also promised they will reimburse the tag fees...they will probably won't do that either.

(200/month) Every car on the lot was in excellent condition and these guys took care of the breaks, oil change and an extra key fob all included with the sale. WOW! Lucas Scott: Bought a car from them and it needed an engine replacement less than four months later. I junked the car and got to make payments on the loan for several years after the fact. Plus lots of repair bills in the mean time trying to get it working. Told the sales rep about what had happened and his response was, “sorry to hear about that”.

Alanna Leitch: Hi everyone. I'll first start this off with if you want to buy a car DO NOT go to this lot. Me and My Husband bought a car from them less than a week ago. First they lied about how many miles were on this vehicle. They said its only 160000 but the car has 208000. Since the day we drove it home every 3 miles it breaks down and blows a fuse that we keep having to replace. We have a 1 year old daughter which they knew about. They wont refund or help do anything to fix the issue. We have took it back 4 times now. Please they see you coming with your money and tax money. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. Don't give them the time of day. When we tried to take the vehicle back my husband was talking to the guy. We payed $4000 for this vehicle and my husband said he sold us a piece of junk that within a few weeks won't even be worth $1000 and the dealer at the dealership said your right probably. So he knew he sold us a LEMON as they call it. We will be taking this to small claims court with all of our receipts and proof of everything. We have proof that they didn't give us correct mileage and description of the vehicle.DESERVES 0 STARS

Michael Hirl: It was a joke. They charged almost double what the car is worth. Just months later we found out that our car needed 4K in repairs and they won’t do nothing about it. They altered paperwork and made up other paperwork for the finance company. We were basically coerced into buying this car because they knew we were desperate for a car. They saw us coming and took complete advantage of us.
Jessie Steirs: Complete waste of my time. Literally assured me an approval and I would be in a vehicle. Salesman said he has to find me the right car, been a week and still haven't found me a car. But I already know they stopped trying and threw my application out the window. Said on the ad that if they can't someone approved for a vehicle then it's 500 cash in their pocket. I've yet to receive a vehicle or 500 dollars cash in my hand. Salesman gets a cut whenever they process an application and get an approval. So hints why they don't care to sell me a vehicle. Complete waste of time. Wouldn't recommend going here at all.

matt black: Best car buying experience I have ever had. There was an absolute absence of high pressure that tend to come when shopping for a used car at a dealership. I was allowed to test drive multiple vehicles, I was allowed to put a vehicle in I was interested in on hold for 5 days while continuing to test drive vehicles within that 5 day period in case they got something in that I liked more. Every question I had was answered without giving me the runaround. They were always upfront and honest about pricing and payments and nothing suddenly changed when it came time to sign the papers. I ended up with a 2019 equinox with just over 20k miles.for a very competitive and good price.

David Michael: As a previous used car store owner I was surprised to see the dirty overall condition of the cars on the lot. Gm not doing his job!
Steve Pope: I am in the automobile business and tried to buy a vehicle from Larry. We agreed to a price and 10 minutes later I call for Larry to send the paperwork needed for the deal. Get voicemail and no call back so I call back to talk to secretary to get correct address to overnight cashiers check as requested by Larry. 10 minutes later Larry calls to tell me to hold up, as another salesperson has someone driving the car and he would let me know the “status” later. Three hours later he calls back to explain someone else put a deposit on the car. Very unprofessional and very unethical for the business. Would not recommend SweetCars and would definitely not recommend Larry. Overall terrible experience and folks like these are the ones who give the automobile business a bad name.

I worked with Corbin and got the ceramic pro gold package on my car. He also helped me find new wheels and lug nuts for my car as well as was able to help me get my hands on touch up paint needed for the car first which I wasn’t having luck finding from other places. I would highly recommend sweetcars

Recommended them to my son and co-workers as well for work they are getting done since seeing mine after the work was completed. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing ceramic coating, paint protection film, detailing and a host of other services.

And there detailers go through the whole car!!!! Not just dressing it up to make it look like it was touched. They truly are detail-oriented workers!!!!

At this point I have used practically every service they offer from maintenance to detailing to showroom purchases to having the management find specific cars from other dealers and bring them to Fort Wayne for me to purchase. The team from top to bottom is hard working, timely and professional. No smoke and mirrors here. Just a well run business as advertised. The team is knowledgeable and very honest from top to bottom including the porters right through the sales team and the management. It would be a mistake if I didn’t point out the GM Michael Barney and the service manager Nate Corwin. These two in particular have earned my respect and loyalty and as far as I’m concerned their word is gold. If I could give SweetCars higher than 5 stars I would.
NGM Shop: This was by far the easiest and most stress free car purchase I’ve experienced. I knew what I wanted and my car salesman, Larry Franck understood and respected my requests. He provided professional and knowledgeable assistance during the sale, he was overall a great salesman. I did not feel pressured into purchasing anything I didn’t want and I felt like my requests were heard and delivered professionally. Sarah Geraghty: I had been looking for a car for two weeks, test driving everything and really contemplating my options. I was a little overwhelmed by this past Saturday when I stopped by preferred without an appointment and Jake greeted my husband and I right away. Jake never got frustrated or tired even though we test drove 3 or 4 cars and he kept engaging with us about what we liked and didn't along with having knowledge about the vehicles. My husband and I knew we really appreciated him and the rest of the staff at the state rd preferred and after taking a couple days to weigh things out we made the jump and Jake and the guys got busy first thing to make the deal happen. Everyone from the manager, finance officers and loan agent to our sales person made us feel important and comfortable even when my husband and I were a little edgy at times. Jake brought my spare key fab, hand delivered to my house with a warm and sincere hand written letter and I am now a huge fan of preferred, they have a client for life. 10/10

Kristen Canan: If you are looking at a vehicle on Preferred's lots, make sure to take it in to your mechanic before making any decisions. I was looking at a Subaru Forester that appeared to be in excellent condition and I was considering purchasing. I was told that this vehicle had been serviced at their center, however they were not able to answer any of my questions regarding service performed. I took it into the Subaru Service Center where they found over $5,000 in fixes, including major head gasket leaks, transmission fluid hose leak (fluid all over front driver wheel), ball joint replacement on one wheel, muffler and exhaust replacement (bad repair job, very very rusty) and lower control arm replace. There is just no way all of these issues were not seen at their service center. My experience at Preferred Auto was that I wasted my time and money. I did not get the impression that I was being scammed, but I am not sure where the communication breakdown occurred between service and sales. I will say that Josh was very pleasant, friendly, and not pushy at all.
