Want to visit our 3500 square foot shop and browse over 16 tons of stunning yarn in person? While we ship worldwide six days a week, we are open to the public just one day each week, which alternates Tuesdays and Saturdays.

We are located in a restored 1940's post office at 1315 E. State Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46805. There's plenty of off-street parking next to the shop, or free on-street parking as well. There are fab restaurants close by, coffee shops a minute away, and gorgeous Lakeside Rose Garden to explore too.

Edited Aug 25 - There have been several water main breaks on our street this week, leaving us without water today. We are unsure if the problem will be fixed so that we can be open the full day on Saturday, August 26. We will open at 10am, but if water turns off again, we will have to close early. Please check this page to see if this note has disappeared if you are coming in later than noon on Aug. 25. Sorry we don't have more info! Call 2604162397 if you want to make sure. If we don't pick up, then we aren't open. If this note is gone, then we ARE open til 4pm as usual.

We are happy to say we finally are a Spincycle stockist!

I am happy to say that I have just placed our second order to include new colorways, restocks on colorways that we have already sold out, and lots of their yarn Wilder in each color. We currently have a really nice selection of their worsted weight super-wash 3-ply merino Dream State, and some Sport Weight Dyed in the Wool. Natalie recently knit two fun hats from one skein of Dream state in the color Truth Bomb. Each hat looks wildly different! The yarn is really nice quality; it is obvious that they work closely with their mill to maintain very high standards. This yarn is very soft and fun. I really wish I could knit everything in it for a little bit...


The ordering process is very different from any other, but the yarns are always deeply saturated and super soft super-wash merino. Since they own their own mill and strive to be as efficient as possible, we are only allowed to place wholesale orders 3-4 times a year, and only during a set number of days. I am telling you this because even though I placed a very larger order with certain colorways and projects in mind, we get only a portion of this order, and it consists of whatever colorways meet the needs of the most shops when they are dying orders. This reminds me of how Koigu was 10 years ago; you would place an order and you wouldn't know what or when you would get the yarn, just that it would be really pretty when you did.

Natalie has started hers and is making the smallest size using just one skein of Dream State, and one skein of Rowan Pure Cashmere.


With two skeins of Dyed in the Wool and 260 yds of a more subdued sport (like Road to China light or Aranmore light) you can make this fun cowl that is Fair Isle in the round.

This is a free pattern (click the image to view details on Ravelry), so you can see if it is something you would like to knit. This class is suitable for knitters who are proficient at CO and BO, knitting and purling, and basic increases. This class will meet on March 11 from 9:30-11:00, and April 8th from 10:00-11:00 with a class fee of $50. No supplies are included in the class fee and you must purchase your aran weight yarn from our store. We are happy to help you decide which size to make when we help you pick out your yarn. Just think, this sweater is about the same yardage as two scarves. You can do it!

We just got a huge restock of Madelinetosh Triple Twist, and Rowan Kid Classic is a lovely choice as well as Blue Sky Woolstok.

This class is has quite a bit of homework in it so you will need to knit for at least an hour a day at home. In the first class you will cast on, join in the round, work your ribbing and establish your increases. If you are a slower knitter, please come to class with your ribbing complete ready to start your increases. You MUST use a long tail CO for this project. If you do not know how to do this but want to join the class, please arrange for a private lesson before class.

In the first class Julia will demonstrate how to put your sleeves on a holder, and CO for the underarms as well as discuss the best ways to add new yarn.


In the second class, you will pick up your sleeves and knit in the round on double points or magic loop and Julia will discuss blocking your finished sweater and how to weave in ends.
