Tariq Hassan: Olthoff homes at Palmira is a great up and coming community. Its really accessible and close to all major areas. Extremely safe and family friendly neighborhood. It was our first home and home buying experience and olthoff home and its team made it so easy and enjoyable.

We have had a pleasant experience with them from the very first time we met with Kara at the model home to the minor things we have needed adjusted/fixed after moving in. I was told he was a guy that would never take an extra dollar during the transaction even so much as on a faucet. My journey then began with a new lake home, and completely remodeled business office and finally a large scale home remodel over the last 5 years. At this point, I wouldn’t know who else to call as Gregg and the Star Homes team have built so much trust with our family. They have always taken care of every need both during and after the process. Jeffery Sweet: Flat out lied on multiple occasions. Walls that are not straight. Lawn was not completed correctly and they never finished it. Cracked concrete. Lying staff that literally lied so often if I could afford it I would sue them for fraud I would. And will if we can empty my retirement. Literally have not talked to a person in this subdivision who is happy. Also watch out for Ben. They send him around to butter you up just to stall and never do the work.That man literally stole the parts to our sink. I say that cause he told me he has the parts and he never game them to us. Kelli Brandt: I bought a new home in May of 2021. I’ve had continual issues. The main water line in the house wasn’t welded completely. It resulted in extensive water damage. Drywall, carpet, cabinets, and flooring had to be ripped out and the house had to be dried out with dehumidifiers and fans. A year later and the repairs still haven’t been completed.I’ve also had a cracked tub, dead landscaping, a leaking toilet, and scratched countertops.I would never let a friend or family member purchase a home from this builder.Service:Custom home design

Gina Urick: Carriage Place Homes built our home in 2019. This was the 1st time we built a home and our experience couldn't have been better!! We looked at building with 4 other builders and made the final decision to go with Carriage Place. The 2 biggest reasons, first we fell in love with the floor plan that Carriage Place offered and second was the owner Jeff Godfrey. From the 1st phone call and meeting with Jeff we felt comfortable with him. He took the time to listen to our needs and wants and was honest with us regarding what could and couldn't been done to keep us within our budget. Jeff wasn't pushy nor did he ever try to up sell us on anything. We did have a few minor problems through out our build. Each time we'd reach out to Jeff, he would resolve the issue as quickly as he could. The thing that stood out the most for us is that Jeff was honest and never once told us what we wanted to hear. He told us what he could do and provided us with reasonable expectations. Jeff worked really hard to get us into our home by the date we needed, in fact we got in a week early and he saved us a whole other months rent!! Our home is built with quality products and the workmanship of his subcontractors are way above the standards we saw in the other 4 builders we looked at. Kevin Boyd: In September, 2018 we broke ground on a home with Carriage Place builders and moved in February, 2019. The entire experience was enjoyable. The team at Carriage Place was pleasant, knowledgeable, listened to our desires and tried to fulfill our dreams. They guided us through the process and made appropriate suggestions along the way. They were also very responsive to questions we had through the building process. The quality of the home is exceptional and my wife and I feel we have received value for our significant investment. After almost a year in the home we are still very pleased and friends who have visited have been very impressed. The utilization of space is the best we have ever found. This was the second build we have done and we do not hesitate to recommend Carriage Place Homes.
