Jorge did an exceptional job. He worked with us to establish and execute the plan for moonlighting, downlighting, uplighting, and special lighting for our large flower pots. Overall; great results. Jorge did a fantastic job for us. First with our landscaping, but then by designing and installing outdoor lighting for our home. We chose simple white lights and didn't want bright LED-looking white, and he delivered. The house looks amazing, his choice of fixtures, placement and color temperature were perfect. They also took great care to install cleanly without tearing up the yard. We have an app that allows us to change start/stop times if we want, or we can leave it to follow sunset and sunrise times. Many neighbors have commented how the lights really look beautiful. We are very happy with Jorge and Outdoor Lighting Concepts and highly recommend his company.

Saturday, NIPSCO came out and shut down power due to the downed power lines and informed me that I needed an electrician to repair the weather head. Keepin Up With Krissy: Today I was looking for an electrician to help fix a circuit breaker on my heat press machine. I had no idea how to install the breaker and I tried replacing it and almost caught the garage on fire lol. I’m new to the area and found lighthouse. Sara Andersen: We had 1B install a lamp post in our front yard. Originally we contacted Korte Electric and they wanted $75 just to come out for a consultation! So happy we went with 1B instead. Just one email to Tom and he quickly stopped by and provided an estimate. Very communicative throughout the whole process, and the lamp post turned out just how we wanted it. We just got done building a custom home, and I have to say 1B is easily the most professional and organized vendor we worked with. Can't recommend them enough!

Robert Meyer: Found a short in underground wire to light post in front of house and replaced it during a snow storm. Wired TV antenna in attic, made sense of a mess of wires up there. First time we called him was for a garbage disposal switch that needed to be replaced. He gave us advice on how to determine if it was the switch or a broken disposal over the phone, so helpful!

Ken Davis: Well, I liked the reviews I'd read, so I reached out to this company by phone...and three times in a row, I was hung up on.I moved here from out of the area, and I have a different area code...I get it, sometimes I don't answer those calls either. So I tried sending a text message to the number, explaining our situation, that we are here in FW and what we were looking for, and per iMessage, it was delivered. But no response...I sent another two days later, also received, and still no reply of any kind.Your mileage may vary, but this was my experience.

The only lights that "sometimes" work are the front porch lights. He never came back to fix the garage or back patio light or troubleshoot the front porch lights. Amber Bradbury: Called this business on 7-28-21 at 1:42 pm., to schedule an appointment to have someone look at some outlets that had a burnt smell. Talked to whatever guy answered the phone, and appointment was set for 8-6-21 a Friday, for between 3:00-5:00 pm., a 10 day wait. Was told they don’t give an exact time, because some appointments may run over. Ok, no problem.Well then, on the day of my appointment, a woman from the office calls me at 2:57 pm., literally right before my appointment to say the guys were running late, and someone could be here, but it would be way after 5. Not happy but ok. She then asks me, if the appointment was for a quote, I say no. They are supposed to come look at some outlets, and fix them if they could. She then says that she can’t ask her guys to work past 5, the appointment was for 3-5, there was still 2 hours. But that’s not what she said at beginning of conversation.She then says someone could be here on Monday the 9th, I’m not happy, but ok. Now to wait another 3 days.This new appointment was set up for 8-9-21 on Monday, for around 2:00 pm- to after, in case they are running late again.Well Monday the 9th comes around.Nobody shows up at all, no call no show.No excuse, they have my name, address, phone number, and email address. Nobody bothered to call, text, or email to say they weren’t coming, or needed to reschedule. We were home all day.We have been screwed over before with a different business a couple years ago, so now when I make appointments, they are all recorded, outgoing and incoming calls. So there is none of this “I said, they said”.

Dustin Thorp: My family had half of our power go out yesterday at our home. We called different business throughout the day and night. I won't name the other business but they totally ghosted us. Never came. My wife pulled up AEY. It was almost midnight when I left a message. Very quickly I received a call back. The owner set up a time in the morning and his workers showed up exactly when they said they would. Took them about 45 minutes in total to fix our problem and give a detailed explanation about steps needed to be taken that they weren't able to fix. My family is very grateful for their time and quality of work done. I will definitely use AEY in an emergency or other needs again. We are very happy with their work!

Nico Tigulis: Not impressed with AEY Electric. First, I could tell my job did not take priority with AEY. They would either come in the morning and leave, or come late at night after another "bigger" job. It took several months to complete a simple new construction project, way longer than I imagined. I would frequently get a text message that they would work on my project tomorrow, and never show up. If you are looking for punctuality, this would not be the place. When they finally finish everything was in working order, but 6 months after they completed the job my fan and security light did NOT work. I contacted the owner, and he said he would be there on Tuesday to fix the problem....but NEVER SHOWED UP! I'm very frustrated with AEY Electric and will be filing a complaint with the BBB if my Fan and security light are not fixed.Service:Electrical outlet switch installation
Susan Westrick: Chris came to my home to troubleshoot several various issues, and never made me feel like my questions/concerns were too small for his time. For a reasonable price, he spent time making minor fixes or recommendations to allow us to solve each issue. I appreciate his honesty and expertise, and will certainly be contacting AEY again for future electrical needs.
