Nicole Smith: If you like not being able to spend time with your family, this job is for you. However, if you value family time don’t waste your time with this company. You do not get all holidays off if you are a sales rep. Your hard work will go unrecognized. They also don’t care if you get skipped in rotation for a better route or promotion. Their customer service with accounts falls very short from other competitors. They are very “anti family” so much that they don’t even let spouses attend yearly Christmas parties! All in all if you are okay with missing out on holiday traditions with your family and okay with getting screwed over then by all means pursue this company.

Justice Finch: Worked there for almost 2 months and had to quit because the night manager was lying to me, would come in drunk, and money drops were always off when she worked….now I’m no longer allowed in the store even though I left peacefully. Another male employee is also very rude to customers. The store is dirty and falling apart….no one gets breaks even working an 8 hour shift. can’t believe a business can even be ran like this.

Ryan Harrington: Reserved a keg at s&v liquors, called to make sure that it was reserved and it was, went into the store and the manager/owner (older man who refused to help lift the keg) knew nothing about it. The keg was reserved the manager didn’t know about it because he was aloof, when I voiced to him that I called to check if the keg was there and now no one knows where it is, he threatened to kick me out and get a keg somewhere else. (I would have if I didn’t already reserve it with his business) I don’t recommend using this business for anything but shelf purchases and even then you can’t trust them to be decent to you. Embarrassing!

D: Lady at the counter was the most rude woman ever. Complete trash. The debit reader is broken and she tried to make me feel like an idiot giving me instructions like I was taking an X-ray. Yelling at me like I was doing something wrong because her machine was messed up. Make more money in a week than she makes In three months and it shows. If could post a picture here I’d prove that maybe she’d go back to school and learn how to be a decent human being. Get some good equipment. Shopping there wear ear plugs so you don’t have to hear her mouth.

Semaj Rramal Crawford: I just read a horrible review from another that I had to respond to. I just recently move right into the center of Illinois and Scott Rd. Like 4 major Liquor Stores to choose from. I am not a huge or experienced buyer of alcohol so yes my knowledge is a bit lacking.That's where Michael comes in. I believe he is a night manager, because thats when I prefer to shop. First, this was the first time I was approached by an employee compared to all of the other stores around me. S&V was last place to visit because I'd never been there before. If i was approached at the other places, it was just to make sure I was'nt stealing or something.Mike was pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the different brands and processes used with (in this case) bourbons. Very respectful of my time and budget. After 25 minutes in the store actually learning some things, I purchased One I wanted, and one that he recommended based on my taste, and I loved them both! On my second visit he remembered me, asked about my experience and then solidified my decision to shop here for all my needs iin the future. Truly, I don't care how he gets to work, by bike or big-wheel. His customer service is commendable, and his knowledge of his product welcome. I recommend this place to anyone in SW Fort Wayne. Great Job!
John Walsh: This is my local liquor store and I come here for all my alcohol needs. The guy who rides a bike to work, I'm pretty sure his name is Mike. That guy is a joke, he won't even look you in the eyes and acts like he is better than everyone. Like dude, you ride a bike to work lol.

I understand things are getting more expensive and prices are going up but you should honor the prices on your tags or update the pricetags before customers get blindsided at the register.
