TekVenture Inc.: what do users think?
Phillip Springer: Great makerspace for the tinkerer and builder that does not have the space or tools to make those project ideas a reality.
Michael Jay: Awesome place to learn or just to have space and tools to build stuff.
Tim Phelps: The people are a great help and they have many tools that are a great resource too.
Kara M: Huge space with many opportunities learning and for independent work. Knowledgeable and friendly makers. Good exchange of ideas and help when needed.
Destiny Brandon: Walked in with my son for the first time on a Saturday event day today. Surprised with a $10 fee for adults and $5 for kids. I decided to pay as we would not have been able to enter otherwise. We were there less than 4 minutes. It was a disappointing waste of time and money. We did go to the free farmers market after downtown and have other plans as well which will still be a great day!
Shelley Mansker: I'm primarily interested in the pottery area but use the woodshop and supplies on occasion. Great place to meet creative folks too!"Never has so much been available to so many for so little" Can not say it better than that.
JD Lefty: Awesome place! Wish I would have come sooner!
Peter Bolakowski: Been coming for years. Best place to meet creative people and have access to all these tools. For a buck a day you can't beat the price!
Matt Reust: Great place to get hands on and learn some valuable skills. Ecstatic Theatrics is making good use of the stage as well! Please support TekVenture!
Anthony Ray: I like this place. It is an ideal place to learn and create for those DIY types. Many areas to use for DIY needs. There is wood, machine, computers, smithy, pottery and much more. It is a nice community space to DIY.
Charles Loew: Fort Wayne's first and largest maker space offers tools and space for creativity and art. Along with access to a wide range of tools, members benefit from mentoring by skilled people in a casual and friendly atmosphere. The place to go for makers interested in hi-tech, industrial, art or anything related.

The Build Guild: what do users think?
Rebecca Bougher: My husband stopped by just to check the place out and the first thing the counter person says is “We don’t take time out of our busy day to show people around.” Well then, we just won’t give you any business then. Rude!
Peanut Head: Not what I was expecting but I definitely left learning something. I was a bit confused where I was supposed to go for my private class when I first got there. No one was at the front desk directing anyone. The place was kinda unorganized and all over the place. Wasn't too shocked with how many activities they have, just didn't expect it to all be crammed into one space. I thought the class I was in, smelting/ metalworkshop, would be a bit more interactive than it was. I thought a couple of people would get their own station and do a follow along with an instructor. Instead it was standing in a small room while one instructor rambled random facts to the group. The most we did was hold items and drop a piece of aluminum into the fire. We were at least looking foward to the daggers we were supposed to take home but they ended up not coming out at all. The pour the instructor did failed and we got a shrug and sorry then sent on our way. We didn't get to the part where you grind/sand it down and take home your work. I'd maybe try this place again and the prices aren't that bad but I'd definitely suggest just using it as a resource and not going into classes with your expectations too high.
Samuel Stroth: I will just start off by saying that this is a really cool place and Larry, the owner, is super nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. I wish I knew about it sooner. However, I recently took the aluminum smelting workshop, where we were supposed to go home with a dagger that we cast and polished. But Larry did not get a good cast and so all of them failed and not a single dagger was made. All we got to do for the entire 2 hours was stand around looking at a fire and each put a few cans in to watch melt. It's pretty lame that we didn't even get to retry making them and that we didn't get to take home the dagger that we paid for and were supposed to make. He said we could take home the amorphous chunk of aluminum if we wanted but that's not what I came there to do.I know that my experience was not the typical one, as he said he had never had 100% failure of casts, but regardless it is the experience I had and am reviewing. I feel kinda jipped and disappointed.I would definitely come back for a different workshop if I weren't getting ready to move out of state and I would still recommend this place to others interested in attending a workshop.
Lindsay Bodigon: The owner, Larry, subbed in for the pottery class and the experience was great! I’ve never done pottery before and he made it very easy to learn
Kelby Musselman: My son kole loved his forge class. Classes are fun.
lynne ostergren: Pottery class with Angie was great! She's very supportive! Highly recommended!
Shaina Armstrong: It was amazing!!! I learned so much in just a couple hours & very excited to get involved in other classes!
David Current: Absolutely fun place to use their tools and build your stuff.
Danielle Vaccaro: This place is so cool. I have taken two of their classes and the instructor is super nice and incredibly patient! My only complaint is it’s not as nice and clean as the pictures online show. It’s now a very well used space but could benefit from some clean up/organization.
Janos Elder: It was alot of fun
David Sites: This is a great place to work on your projects or learn a new skill!!
Kim Freiburger: Had my first night of mosaic tile class tonight. Had a blast!! The instructor was really fun and she showed us her projects. Very fun!!
Adam rabideau: Our instructor was AWESOME! Very friendly and very knowledgeable! Was a great date night! Would recommend for anyone looking for a new experience!
EMILY BURKETT: Great place for hobbies ! My son loves the blacksmithing classes.
Michael O'Hara: Took the class on screenprinting. Learned how the process works, got hands on and they let you screenprint a shirt your self. The class was a reasonable price.
Crystal Caverly: A awesome place to just do your own thing, listen to music and create what ever you want. Highly recommend for anyone that has a project they don't have a space to work on it at home.
Holly Hudson: Took a pottery class with hubby and 2 kids, 9 and 10. The instructor was patient with the girls despite the large class size. She gave direction but allowed them to do their own thing. We each have a piece that we can go back and glaze if we like. Very excited to go back and do other things.
Darcy Barella: We had an amazing time at the Beginners Stained Glass Class! Everyone was extremely friendly and patient, as I had never used any of the tools that we used. Time truly flies when you are having fun and time went by so quickly in the workshop. It was an amazing experience. I look forward to taking another class soon
Paris Armour: It's a nice place
creativehomebuying: So much fun to Build at the Guild!
Jaelynn Zewde: Such an amazing environment! SOOOO many resources to learn, divulge in and advance your creative passions. Very friendly people, we instantly felt like family. I wish I knew about this place sooner because I am moving in a month but love it here!! I think they undercharge for the value this place holds.

Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne: what do users think?
Jeff Frank: The Parkview Artslab on the Arts United campus, straight across Main Street from the FW Art Museum, is an amazing space for local artists. The space offers a home to FW Ballet, an Artlink local artist gallery, and a fully equipped black box theater that can seat just over 100 guests. Such a gem for our local artists of all genres and the community who can come experience this talent in the space. While there don’t forget to grab a donut or cinnamon roll with a cup of coffee from the Pembroke Bakery, which is located right off the lobby. They also offer many GF, vegetarian, and vegan options.
Chris Cleaver: I visit this place daily from 6:30-4 that's where I workn
Carla Tam: They advertised a festival and when we arrived it had been canceled. I have no idea what arts united actually does but it was annoying to bring disabled clients to a festival that wasn't there.
Jeffrey Bisel: A little expensive, but very high quality products and immense selection of art supplies, home schooling resources, and Christian based educational items. Highly recommend to just look around there, you'll be surprised what you will want that you didn't think of.
Susan Dawson: I love everything about this place!
Lynn Harlow: Suzanne is the best. Always some good local and none local art displayed. Certainly a supportive group of people. Monday and Thursday night figure drawing is always a good place to be.
Verlin Rice: Went there for the stage play Christmas Carol by the afOne group.
Duane Woods: I work here
Sam Poor: Neat little theater inside and has plays often from the Fort Wayne Youtheater
Kat Keener: Got to see many artists in the same place at one time
kimberly kimball: I love to support the arts
Dave McCall: Fostering the arts culture in Fort Wayne, Arts United is an important downtown fixture. Fort Wayne would not be the same without A.U.
larry rowland: Wonderful space housing several arts organizations. A true asset of our region.
Dan Swartz: A space for the arts in downtown Fort Wayne!

Greater Fort Wayne Inc.: what do users think?
Pierce Frick: I have been going through the internship for the last year and have been loving it! They sponsor workshops to make you a better worker if you are accepted into their program and during summer they help you find a host company to give you experience and they pay for your housing in Fort Wayne. Great organization with a great purpose.
Christopher Sanchez: Top notch organization and the way a chamber should be operated.
Dan Swartz: GFW is the combination of Fort Wayne's former Chamber of Commerce and the Allen County Economic Development Alliance. This is the main economic development organization in Fort Wayne, and is attempting to enhance the city's economy and quality of life.
