Bishop Blackmon: Everyone was great from start to finish. I went to a different certified shop and was raked over the coals for work that was not completed. Here my car was diagnosed and the next day I received the results and recommendations. I know that I could have been given false hope and a big bill but Mercedes Benz of Fort Wayne was bigger than that. They saved me money by the work they didn’t do. Thank you all for being honest. You give Mercedes Benz a good name.

Jan Roberts: The car was in for a $660 B7 or B8 maintenance and a $150 coolant maintenance for 150,000 miles. When we got the bill there was an addition charge of $115 for I believe an air conditioning filter. When I questioned it he did give us a $50 coupon. But it was a surprise to us. Also for at least 3 years we have been told our battery failed a test yet the car never fails to start right up even in cold weather.I find your maintenance charges are extremely high and then always trying to tact on a $400 battery and tires at very high price. We just had our tires rotated and checked a couple of weeks ago and were told they were fine. This happened once before when we were told we needed new tires. We brought the car back home to where we buy tires and were told that they were not in need of replacement yet. We paid over $800 today and the car was there being serviced for 2-1/2 hours. Then almost 2 more hours to clean and wash. Seems like a lot of money for just some maintenance work. Hate to see the bill if anything actually broke.

Then was told to maybe call back later. This is a very important matter and I feel it's not being taken seriously. Especially if I were to get into a car crash because of the recall about my vehicles engine possibly stalling because of potential water build up.

T R: Bought a car 3 months ago. Over the last 3 months I fixed a leaking coolant hose from the reservoir, replaced the battery the starter and the power steering pump. The reservoir was installed rubbing on a coolant line, caught that before distaster struck. Don't let the website fool you... very sketch. Expect to put 1/2 the sales price into whatever car you buy in the first 6 months. Maybe they're good at renting Uhauls and doing minor repairs ... idk... i do know the cars they sell are POS.

Popped the hood and pointed out oil all over the rear of the engine fresh too. They said "it will wash off". "Are you sure about that"? "Yes it will wash off". It was a head gasket, it'll wash off then cost you some $$$...

Rachel Adkins: Overall a terrible experience. If you deal with upper management you are fine, but dealing with the regular sales staff was not fun.I eventually purchased the vehicle, but only after calling the CarMax complaint line and being contacted by the GM of the branch directly and dealing with him. He did what he could to make the situation right.If I had to do it all over again, I would not go through CarMax to purchase a vehicle.

Darian Massengill: Came here to sell my vehicle from Michigan after stopping by my local jeep dealer. I was only going to get $1,000 back from them and Carmax was able to give me $3,900 back. We initially brought the jeep on Thursday, their system was down so we couldn't complete the deal and had to come back today, Monday. Because of the inconvenience, Max, our associate, and John, the manager, filled up our car with gas BOTH days and gave us $50 for dinner. Max and John were both wonderful to work with. So professional and courteous. Got us a great deal and got everything done as quickly as they could to get us back on the road to Michigan. While we were waiting on Thursday, we took a look at the vehicles they have for sale just out of curiosity, and they truly do have some really nice vehicles at decent prices. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Will be sending my family here for future car needs. If you have a bad experience here, you might be the problem because these people are all kind and wonderful.

Chris Wilson: The people working there are great. I would say after purchasing 5 cars and selling 6 there in the last 2 years I was happy with the service until recently. I bought a Mercedes’ for 48k. 4.5 months after buying it the car broke down and I was told it needs a new engine. Mercedes quoted the repair at nearly 40k. I’m stuck with a ridiculously high car payment and a costly repair. Mercedes Benz doesn’t make engines that go bad after 68k miles. Ask Carmax to help resolve this issue (because it is outside the warranty and if I would have got carmax warranty it would have been outside that too). Carmax says that can’t do anything except refer me to a mechanic. The used car dealership down the block give 2 year 50k warranty on their cars complimentary. Not this corporation. They care more about the bottom line. My future purchases will be with Driveway or Carvana

We were able to buy it within a few days after our own personal mechanic gave it a clean review.We also bought a Nissan Armada from the Warsaw Best Deals last year, and are really impressed with this dealership all around!

David Michael: As a previous used car store owner I was surprised to see the dirty overall condition of the cars on the lot. Gm not doing his job!
Steve Pope: I am in the automobile business and tried to buy a vehicle from Larry. We agreed to a price and 10 minutes later I call for Larry to send the paperwork needed for the deal. Get voicemail and no call back so I call back to talk to secretary to get correct address to overnight cashiers check as requested by Larry. 10 minutes later Larry calls to tell me to hold up, as another salesperson has someone driving the car and he would let me know the “status” later. Three hours later he calls back to explain someone else put a deposit on the car. Very unprofessional and very unethical for the business. Would not recommend SweetCars and would definitely not recommend Larry. Overall terrible experience and folks like these are the ones who give the automobile business a bad name.
