Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne: what do users think?
Henry Ngosa: It was awesome 👌
Mackenzie Bone: Going to Ivy Tech has truly been one of the worst experiences. I came in as a freshman during covid, with no idea what classes to take. My advisor was very little help to guide me on what i needed to take. I’ve had a very very small handful of good professors, most were horrible and did not care to do their job. For example the professor who taught 11 out 16 weeks of a three hour class. and would teach for 30 mins (if that) even though the class was three hours. That class was a total waste of money. If you want a cheap education you’ll get a cheap education, you get what you pay for. I would not recommend going to ivy tech for anyone.
Ginni Crowe: So far my screens has been pretty good! I love my advisor she's very helpful! Kudos to Jessica!
rlschanlaub: Had to take a proctor test on campus. Nice, clean facility, friendly staff.
Komodo: The school its self is nice but the administration staff it terrible lack of communication and they don't know how to do their jobs. Poor student service would not recommend attending unless this very las option. P.s. if you try for financial aid they'll screw you over so good luck with that
Jen Fought: As a parent I will say the price is the only good thing about ivy tech. But on the flip side you get what you pay for. I had 2 kids in ivy tech last year and one this year(the other transferred) and the communication and organization is terrible. We have had so many issues. Today it was somehow losing (or not putting into the computer) the release that I signed and turned in last year on the day of orientation to authorize me to talk about her financial status. It has just been one thing after another this past year. What a headache.
Phil L: Great place to get certifications!
Limit: Fell down stairs and broke my neck. the teacher named Mr.hair pushed me
Nicole Bowman: Great school
Jim Saunders: I got my mechanical maintenence degree. It was a good experience.

Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne – Coliseum Campus: what do users think?
Melany Love: Had three students take classes there last Summer. One had to drop out because IVY’s tech department had a bug that wouldn’t let him log in. A week of phone tag and them not caring as he failed the classes he couldn’t log into—finally I went in person and threw a fit until they found what the problem was and let him drop the class. Waste of time! Other two students are STILL trying to get their transcripts sent to their school so they don’t have to retake classes they’ve already passed. Can’t ever reach a knowledgeable person, the few who are don’t care or follow through. Do not recommend. “Free” class almost cost my son his financial aid because his grade ranked since he couldn’t log in, and when he begged for help, no one cared. Prof didn’t even have his contact information listed.
Lindsay Reed: Horrible experience. I withdrew about 10 years ago due to pregnancy complications. My appeal was not approved and I could not use any of my financial aid which set me up for failure this time around. Not to mention the staff are very rude. Only giving a star so I'm able to post.
Nicole Bowe: If you have a high grade point average because college is easy for you, you can expect to be tested in other ways. You have to take everything as a learning experience even if you are not happy about it.
Steven Thomas Peirce: Voted
Dominic Seven: It's a nice school
IcyFox: There's nothing much to learn here except being on hold for almost an hour. The office is never busy, and it seems like the office people wander from there desk to talk rather then do their jobs.
Lillian Huber: I am really disappointed with ivy tech ft Wayne. I am also not one to leave bad reviews but this one is well deserved. If you’re thinking about attending in person or online i encourage you to read other reviews too most of them have had the same issues as I have. The professors are amazing for the most part but advising and financial aid really ruin the whole experience. This is my third semester out of five here. The first semester my advisor told me I wasn’t fit for college and should drop out. She told me that I had to chose school or working full time and could do both full time. I told her some of us have goals and can’t afford to live if we don’t work. She constantly cut me off when I was talking. I also proved her wrong and made the deans list and she was still very rude even after seeing I made the deans list.I finally got my advisor changed and the new ones been great. The issue I’m facing right now is financial aid. I am very very disappointed in them. It’s been since July of calling and emailing every single week to try and get these issues resolved. I understand fafsa has been an issue for many this year but I’m sorry it should not take 3+ months. Everyone has a different reason as to why these issues are going on and tells me something different every week. The supervisor has yet to call me or return my emails. Her assistant stopped responding to my calls and emails. I have made the deans list the two semesters I have been there and this is how I’m treated? I definitely will not be going back to ivy tech ft Wayne after I complete this degree.
Erin Erck: The main admissions building is on Stellhorn on Purdue's North Campus
Taylor JI: This "school" is a bad joke. Advisors really do rush you off the phone and cut you off when you're talking. The only school that wouldn't accept private loans because of a low gpa 10 years ago from when I was a teenager. You want someone who's going to community college to pay for it out of pocket verses approving for a private loan? Probably should re think that. People change and you're missing out on a lot of business by those standards. Didn't realize I was applying to Harvard. Get real!
Cori Marcum: Campus is always trying to improve, it is kept clean and procedures for covid safety have been put in place.
Christal Waul: I swear my advisor wants to get off the phone ASAP. This is my first year and my professor is my biggest cheerleader but when it comes to my advisor I just need a different one. Goal is to become an RN but she making it hard for me. All I want is advise on the best way to get through this and be done from building a good school schedule and then she won’t have to deal with me again.
Crystal Garris: Loved taking classes on campus. I learned alot.
ghamar nikzad: it has a good environment and nice staff to help you.
ChesterFamily Vlogs: Communication with this school and the staff are horrible. My husband attends this school and he has to call and make the financial aid department do there job. He will get the voicemail constantly, he won't get a returned call if he leaves a message. With everyone working from home right now and the staff being away from there desk, they have become rather lazy. We are still waiting on his financial aide to get approved, in which it is almost past the deadline because they lack in communication. After he finishes this year he will be transferring to a more reputable school. Teachers also give busy work, so they can get off of zoom and get back to doing God knows what.
Danette Angus: Excellent staff, super helpful and clean
Dani Addler: Awful representative service.
Russ Rybolt: Inhospitable!
Second Place: The nursing program is a joke and you are set up to fail.
Christa Summers: There is plenty of help to get you enrolled here but after that there is not too much support. The instructors do not care too much about their students' well being and success. It is a very cheap college but you get what you pay for.
Think Twice: This place is depressing. The only good thing is it’s affordable, and they have a good selection of summer classes

Erin Erck: Very friendly
Daniel White: Friendly and friendly staff. Usually in and out for testing without any issues.
F Sykes: You will get different answers about your questions you have about enrolling at Ivy Tech from each person that you talk to on the phone and in person. Each person will tell you something different leading you to go around and around in circles and leaving you frustrated.
William Schwartz: This is where I work, good group of people. I use the exercise room that is a bit outdated but works just fine.
