Kim M.: This use to be my favorite store but since you have had so many employees changes it has gone down hill. I was in there last Saturday and I had quite a bit of stuff to try on and yes it was more than 6 items and yes I knew I could only take 6 in and trade out for more. The girl that had let me in was very rude and when I had an issues in the fitting roomI decided not to finish trying on. And I left. And I won't be going back.
Ellen Pullen: Wasn't really happy this time, as with everyplace, prices have gone up, but $18 for a pair of used jeans?? Normally, I look over my clothes before purchasing, just to make sure, there are no flaws, but one slipped past me..I paid quite a bit for a pair of Loft Jeans, only to discover a rip after I got home, disappointed!

I wasted my time and effort for nothing. When I went to pick up my clothes the lady told me that they were too full, if the store was too full they could’ve told me and I wouldn’t had to have driven back. Either way I will not be taking my business here again.
Ma Naparat: I went in on Saturday (September 10) to hopefully sell some clothes. The lady who was helping me was really rude. She threw a pen at me so I could sign the receipt to get the process started. She took my bag and told me to come back in a couple hours. I didn’t realize that they didn’t accept junior clothes. When I went back, she threw my bag on the counter and said, “None of these are what we want. We don’t accept junior clothes. Go to Plato’s”, and just walked away. I’m never returning to that store again.

There were three or four staff working at the time and each of them were friendly, helpful and courteous. It was evident that they were focused on not only working with the clothing and products, but creating a space that is comfortable and helpful for consumers. The store was organized and there was a lot of variety to choose from. Kudos to the "newer girls" working in this location, the friendly and helpful attitude was a refreshing, pleasant surprise. 5 Gold Stars! Go after it, girls!

Addy Blair: Would give -5 stars if I could. Dropped 6 bags of clothes off after Plato’s closet said they would buy more since the clothes were more “mature”. Happily I took them over and when I walked in every worker there gave very nasty looks remarks towards me and they said they would send a message when it was done. I hadn’t been out of the store for more than maybe 5-10 minutes before I got the message. Really confused on why it took such short time I brought my mom back with me since they were her clothes. They didn’t even look in the bags, the bags were all left the same way and place i dropped them off. The lady said they wouldn’t take anything because “they weren’t brands or clothes they purchased” however looking around I saw almost every brand we had in the bags. Every other review that talked about rude workers was not lying. Very disappointed in the customer service and lack of work in there.
Alyssa Claymiller: Don’t even bother trying to sell your clothes here, I always bring in brand name clothes (some even with tags still attached) and when I get my clothes back I can tell they didn’t even go through the whole box. Kind of rude in my opinion and a big waste of time

Wayne McLaughlin: Help is hard to find and I think all retailers can lean on that a bit for disarray in their stores. This store absolutely pushes the limit on it. Women's clothing mixed with men's, sizes mixed, clothing on floor, etc. Sad that this used to be a great store for shopping.

Sue Scheiber: I went to find a pair of shoes. The shoe department was a complete mess. Shoes and boxes all over. No order whatsoever. The good news is that I found a pair of shoes but no box or price tag. The cashier was able to find a price online, and the in store price was even less. My patience paid off.
Darby Fleming: Store is very tidy and shoppable but not as good as they once were. Prices are high enough now you should definitely shop around. Shoe selection is just ok for adult men too. Not enough dress casual and anything over an 11 is almost non existent

Just a sample of high prices have gotten. I did get a Columbia coat for $69 on clearance rack.One set of registers closed and disorganized. Store just seemed sloppy.

They all seem to have a positive attitude and good customer service. The prices are really decent for today's financial climate, and they have nice sale items in view. The store is very clean and welcoming. A nice comfortable stroll through the isles, not crowded at all. I enjoy my visits there.

Jake Howard: Very dissatisfied with how this location handles "loss prevention".Some really self righteous blonde woman who had a walkie talkie and an atrocious attitude was hovering around me and my friend as we casually browsed through the jewelry display area where the cheaper less valuable items are displayed out in the open.We were looking and talking about what looked nice and how certain colors would match her various apparel, and the entire time this rude blonde woman kept making rude faces and staring us down like we were criminals or something.Long story short the woman was the absolute most horrible customer service / loss prevention person I've ever dealt with in my life, in no way were we there to steal anything or cause any trouble, this woman was rude and obnoxious, and went way out of her way to basically do the opposite of loss prevention, we were at that Kohl's killing time, and were easily going to spend a few hundred dollars on random items for the house, easily way more money than what Kohl's pays her to be rude to customers. So in the end we left and didn't spend nearly the amount of money we had planned that day due to her obnoxious hideous horrible behavior, and I don't recommend anybody else go to the store unless they want to be crucified for friendly shopping and browsing.They really should fire that obnoxious lady because she acts like an animal. No I'm sorry, that's a disgrace to animals, I've met plenty of animals that act way more behaved than she did. Absolutely horrible.

The lady had a cart bringing it back into the store but decided to come towards me and block me from walking to my car and asked for a receipt she wouldn't let me walk around her and proceeded to run into me with the cart out in the parking lot. I told her I purchased my items and to never stop me outside my car or block me and how disgusting it was for her to assume I dident pay for my items I told her I'm outside the store and to never do that again! I showed her my receipt and told her I don't appreciate what she did and made me feel unsafe with her blocking me and not letting me go to my car train her better or fire her disgusting behavior

Rachel Baumgartner: I love this store and all the staff. I mainly come to the Chanel makeup counter as I am obsessed with their mascara and foundation. Yes it's pricey but its worth the money. I love the classical pianist they have playing music while you shop. And specifically, Coco at the Chanel counter is always extremely helpful and personable. They were out of my foundation so she ordered it for me and gave me enough samples of it to last me until my order came in. Anytime there is a new product I want to try she is more than accommodating with samples or letting me try them in store. If you do decide to go the Chanel makeup route go talk to Coco she's the best ❤️
Brendan Mulkey: I love Von Maur! I have been coming here with friends for years. It's fun to go and shop after class or explore some new ideas for gifts or future purchases. Can be a bit pricy but that's the whole experience of Von Maur. They carry only some of the best quality clothes for more preppy looks, and they have very nice athletic brands as well. Their shoe department consists of high-end footwear, and easy to try-on items. Von Maur has a section for everyone- young, old, tall, short, XS-XXL, etc. Very welcoming and accepting place, and the workers always make sure you are doing okay. Very fantastic work ethic from everyone here. I am glad I live near Von Maur!

Rick D: We no longer come into this location to shop but shop at their other locations and online instead. The problem has to do with their immature, loathing, “confused” salesperson in men’s suits. He has never been very friendly, but towards the end during an incident when he was standing with a group of salespeople talking and they kept rubbernecking and looking at us, I decided this has to end. I reported it and had a conversation with the store manager. Apparently, the message didn’t sink in because he was snide toward us the next time we were in the store. jessica orr: Out of all the new discount stores popping up in Fort Wayne this is still my number one!I never go in expecting to buy a certain item because it’s not a department store it’s a discounted store if more people would realize it all depends on the shipments and some orders get delayed longer than others for reasons on the factory and shipping!Besides that sometimes I get amazing purses in the store or maybe the the pillow selection is amazing or the clothing is amazing!Really just depends on the inventory if you are shopping for certain items you can be disappointed but again it’s a discounted store it’s not kohl’s or macy’s that you go in that specific clothing options! It’s a store that is operated by the discounted items that are available for them to purchase that is always High Quality not that plastic junk you are buying to decorate your home❤️

Grace E: I stopped in to pick up some gloves. It's the beginning of the winter season and Christmas shopping has begun. I found exactly 3 pairs of gloves. I searched the store. Burlington was always the place for coats with many other items. Now I understand that they are just Burlington but I would think they would still try to stock coats. I feel like it's just another store where you never really know what you might find. And you might not find what you are looking for.
