Veteran's National Memorial Shrine & Museum: what do users think?
Kali Oliver: Very knowledgeable staff and a so ering experience. I've been the Vietnam War Memorial Wall in D.C. and although a little smaller, this replica is just as sobering of an experience. I did not realize that Fort Wayne even had a veterans memorial such as this until about a year ago, and it truly is a magnificent way to honor our veterans.

John Sheehan: One of the great and all too little known treasures of this area. Remembering the service of men and women who have served the country in the military. There is a reproduction of the Viet Nam wall, and areas for each of the major conflicts in which military have been involved. A new and greatly enlarged museum will be open this summer, as will a new chapel. A moving and beautiful space.

Richard Tomazic: Overall the site is beautiful and welcoming. Although inside the museum most of the artifacts were all mixed together not by timelines of war but just kind of chaos inside moving from on e display to the next you could have been interested in viewing more memorabilia of the same time but the next case will be something completely different which can throw you off if you aren't paying attention. I love this place and recommend it for everyone to see and learn at all ages it's for everyone 💯 Thank you for your dedication to the veterans of the United States of Americas military.Hoooorahhh! James Mueller: My grandmother came by there with her father's WW1 uniform and a copy of the diary in which he wrote while deployed. The people who met us and help run and teach there were very respectful of the uniform and with my grandmother's wishes. She asked that they not sell the uniform to another museum and they stated that if they have no use for it, they would return it to her. Amazing staff, highly recommend checking it out

TSA: what do users think?
Joan Surdukowski: TSA was not open at 6:15 am on Columbus day. TSA pre heck and regular customers were mixed online.I had to take my jacket off, which is not supposed to happen with TSA pre check.I mistakenly left a bottle of water in my bag. I wanted to drink it right there and dispose of it but was told I would have to go out through security and come back in?
Ryan Griff: Went through TSA today and had a very pleasant experience. Bascon checked my ticket and was very friendly for it being 4:00am. They where quick and efficient, I was able to get through and have my back searched for dense packed security purpose and be through in less than 7 minutes. First time flying out of the Fort Wayne Airport and will definitely fly out and in more directly now that I know how efficient it is.

The Old Fort: what do users think?
Logan Tieman: It was an amazing place, when I went thereWith my class for a field trip I was the best.
Heather Foraker: Even though the Fort is closed because of Covid right now, it was still a wonderful place to spend visit. The grounds were kept up and just as I remembered it as a child. I cannot wait to go back after they are doing reenactments again.
angela scalf: Nice scenery, informational, beautiful gardens. Me and my kids had so much fun seeing it all.
Michael Bowden: A most amazing place. I can't say enough about the old fort. One of my favorite place's of all time! If you can, GO SEE IT!
Malinda J.B. Pagel: The Old Fort is a replica of the last fort built in Fort Wayne, based on the actual plans obtained from the Library of Congress. It was completed in 1976 for the bicentennial, then closed for a time before opening again as a non-profit. It is open on specific weekends for events, and if you wander down for a walk during any given day, you may find a willing volunteer who will show you around. Check the website for the official schedule of events and do your best to come see reenactors recreate the sounds and smells of eras past. This site is donation-based only, so everyone and everything you see happening here on any given day is funded entirely by donations from the public. Come take a walk through time and see what put the "Fort" in Fort Wayne!
