T L: Yall came to shut my water off but didnt switch over the new services and left me high and dry without water to shower or use the bathroom. Got hung up on 2x by people who barely speak a lick of English. Violation of my civil rights. I will be getting a lawyer.
Ninjagirl50: Turned off my water service without any warning. I guess I was a month behind.(totally forgot)There was no notice posted on my door about the water being shut off. Called the company and had to pay a turn on fee. The customer service rep said "we tried to call you". Funny how the call doesn't show up on my logs and my phone number is the one posted to my account.I think they purposely do that in order to get people to pay the installation fee. Thanks for the warning now I get to go up to eight hours without running water.

If a main goes down they are on it asap.It's strange these reviews are months apart, apathy, can't change it so why bother? A 1.6 rating is yuck so I guess the peeps complaining only find the bad? I gave 4 stars for the lack of online evolution. It'd be nice to see past billing cycles, and why do we pay for recycling when it makes a great deal of $ for the city?
wodiej: I was charged for a trip fee even though my payment for my bill had posted to my bank account a week earlier. I attempted to resolve this over the phone, in person (no one there), and leaving messages. I provided my bank statement as PROOF.

When another contractor hit our water line at our business, a beauty salon; he was on scene and made sure the contractor knew this was to be fixed immediately. Thanks to him our water was back on the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. He was very professional. Thank you.

Acts of god (quoted from Culligan the greatest) frozen my water softener causing it to leak water into the garage and needed to be replaced. As a renter that should have been covered. Oh no it doesn't cover acts of god. I was told it could be replaced. No discussion of prices or anything. I randomly get my bill a month and a half later saying $458.Excuse me? I then call to ask why it's so much and they told me that it's supposed to be $112 to come look at it which is paid up front. Never discussed this or was told about it. Then my invoice is charging me the left over remaining amount for a used water softener they installed that was apparently supposed to be paid at the time of installation. Again no discussion of this because I would have said no thanks, pack your bags and go because I can literally go to the nearest Lowe's and pay cheaper for a water softener brand new. When I called about this they told me that Kim is very good at her job and would have never left out the price so now it's on me even tho I was never informed. I will never recommend Culligan again to anyone and I hope they get robbed blind after all the scammy nonsense they do. Trash company. OVERPRICED DON'T USE THEM !!!!!
darcy stutz: I'm am extremely pleased with Culligan!! Prior to, and with an expensive softener from Menards, I was constantly fighting iron and rust. On e Culligan set up their set, from day 1, it's been fantastic!! No more rust remover products!!! We can drink the water again!!!

Be on my property ever again.Called for a service call and my understanding was a up front fee of $114 for travel and labor. $122 came out of my account unexpected. Then the service guy was on my property for 33min, absolutely no parts need I get charged $71 for labor. I question my bill and the reason $122 came out of my account was because I live 8 min into Ohio. She forgot to explain that part but took the $122 out at her own judgment. Wow!!!! Highway robbery!!!!!I also had a quote upgrading our water softner system an culligan quote is $5,600 with a 10 year warranty also charging $65 a month for a service plan.A quote from Aqua is $2,300 with a 7 year warranty and no offer of a monthly charge service plan because they take care of there customers.After being with culligan for over 12 years I now have Aqua and its the best our water ever has been.People get AWAY from people that ROB you of your hard earned money!!!!!

I now use Culligan and am so thankful for their service. They are dependable and affordable and it is so nice to not have to lug around those 5 gallon containers. I will be using their service even it the water stations open back up .

Jonah Gordon: I’ve never had a problem with them before but recently they shut off our water due to a missed bill, so I paid it. It’s happened before and they’ve always come right out and turned it back on. Today they told me it was going to be $56 to turn it back on. Plus $28 reconnect fee. Just stealing our money
jacob Frankewich: Got double charged via their auto pay system being a joke and they refuse to refund as its "against policy". The rep on the phone also admitted that they know it does that.

T K: While holding for CSR, City keeps asking for a handout!! Can City Utilities live within its means?? Keeps raising rates and still needs handout. Billing due date is 5 days from the day they mailed it. Very fast to disconnect if you are late, however they can go for up to two weeks to pickup your trash (Red River). Did we get a refund for services not provided? ZERO star!
