Sweetwater Band & Orchestra: what do users think?
Darren Barnes: . So a few days after getting settled in here, I realized my acoustic's 6 strings were sounding pretty faded and hopped on Google maps to search for "music store", "guitar shop", etc.Oh, Ft. Wayne has a Guitar Center? Okay, that'll probably work (although I generally prefer to find a local shop if one is available
Julie R.: Clean, great selection, staff can answer questions, and a cafe and cafeteria! Was able to find what I needed and get lunch too!
Byron Gillespie: *Edited*After writing my initial review I got a phone call from from someone very high in this company. He apologized and explained that I should not have had an issue with trying to return our unopened instrument. That was probably one of the most sincere conversations that I have had in a very long time after writing a review of my experience with a business. He took care of my request ASAP while we were on the phone and could tell that he really cares about taking very good care of his customers! Using Sweetwater Band Instrument Rentals can & will be a very good experience if you ever needed to use them. *edited*What a horrible company! We applied to rent a instrument, got it in the mail and have been trying for 2 days to return it! We haven’t even opened the box from the mail but we keep getting the runaround on the phone about sending the instrument back!! Don’t use this company even if your kids school says you should! It’s all a big scam and probably the schools are in on it!
MrJams321 Ingram: Sweetwater probably has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Especially Joey. Went above and beyond. Five Stars guys!!
Howard C Testerman: Great experience at the store. Very nice store and great people there to help you.
Tim Rowe: Very helpful and nice STAFF
Joe Barker: Friendly and knowledgeable
larry tinker: A Musical Wonderland.
Jeremy Hempel: Awesome place for kids and adults
Benjamin LaLonde: Amazing buying experience online
brendan ormsby: Mynett Music is great for those that play orchestral instruments. You will find brass, woodwind, and strings here, and a wide variety of necessities and accessories for them + lessons and repairs.
Michelle Hipskind: Very helpful and friendly. My daughter is renting a violin for lessons. Thanks Kevin for all your help.
Jaxon Tilbury: Love playing saxophone
Jeff Keim: Great place
DonutFriends Forever121: I play violin at a local middle School and they were such a great help with getting me started with doing my own violin
Joseph jdonner: Very helpful and attentive employees. Great inventory and clean organized store.
Anne Scofield: I'm sorry to have to leave such a low rating, but my questions after my cello was set up, went unanswered. As a result, I feel like I just threw $75 away in the trash. I picked up my cello and brought it home only to find that it was grossly out of tune. Every set up on instrumentation that I have received over decades has included tuning. I left a message to try to find out if there was trouble tuning the instrument or if they didn't try to tune it. The phone message went unanswered. I was trying to decide if it was a manufacturing defect or if the cello was just very difficult to tune. I finally figured out that it was a manufacturing defect, since the cello never reached a true pitch on any of the 4 strings. I would think you'd be able to determine this during setup, but I'll never know what their input or side of the story is. I returned the cello to the manufacturer.
Nicole: Very friendly
Patrick Nash: Great place!
Timothy Martin: Did a great job with my trumpet 👍
Erin Salyers: Not a good vibe. It felt like the lady working was annoyed that we came in to purchase something. Still made a purchase but will find a different store to buy from next time.

Triple C Music LLC: what do users think?
Sarah Heiges: Wonderful locally owned music store, great service on my trumpet!
Quincy Sanders: Carey does a great job restoring vintage Saxophones, he's restored 3 professional level horns and the pad work is awesome! Being a player himself he really does well making sure the horn fits the player.
Matt Bosserman: Best place in Fort Wayne to purchase Musical Instruments and accessories. The owner is incredibly knowledgable and friendly. This is a true local business and has much better service than other music stores here in the Fort.
Andrew Wagner: Needed a quick repair on professional equipment and a fair price! Great company with an owner that cares about your needs!
Sean Wooldridge: Carey helped us pick out a great trumpet at a great price for my son. He also resurrected my trombone. The slide might as well be brand new. There is a great selection of instruments (way more than you see on the site). This is the place you imagine when you think of "the local guy". We couldn't be happier.
Sue-Ellen Hephner: Owner very helpful and pleasant. Was able to repair my granddaughter's flute while I waited.
Aaron and Amanda Harmeyer: I stopped in chance. This gentleman was super helpful in getting me picks. I will be back to shop more for sure!
Rylan Clarkson (RNCmusic): Carey always knows how to fix an instrument and is very knowledgeable
Doug Germann: Great help from a knowledgeable professional! Have bought multiple instruments here.
Judy Foust: Carey does a tremendous job!! I take my violin to Triple C for upkeep and repairs. Carey always goes far above and beyond! Very fair prices. I don't trust my violin with anyone else!!
Kireo Endragio (D&D Tales 5e Homebrew): Whenever I am need of a repair or sine supplies Carey has got you.
Charlene Resch-Gardner: Carey always takes care of us! Fair pricing and quality work!
Jason Todd: Good selection and knowledgeable staff
Joseph Schafer: Great...
Tina Cessna: Great place to get all your music supplies and lots of advice.
Lucas Norton: Carey is my go to repair man, and this is the go to shop. By far the best locally owned music store in the city. Go here for individual saxophone and horn purchases/repairs and all more.
Denny g: These guys are very helpful.
Eric anderson: Great little music store! Lots of used instruments, great service, and a very talented band and string technician! I recommend checking this music store out!

Fort Wayne Philharmonic Center: what do users think?
Neil Sowards: When I attend the Philharmonic concerts at the Embassy, there are always a lot of empty seats. If more of the community would buy tickets, then maybe all this mess about wanting to downsize the orchestra would be resolved. I mean, there are two sides to this. The $20,600 yearly salary is horrible, but then, the half empty seats are horrible also. Why dont the people of Fort Wayne support the orchestra better than they do by paying money for tickets. Just my opinion. The orchestra is great and I love the Philharmonic orchestra.
Muninn Myrkvi: Respect your musicians and end the strike. The musicians ARE the philharmonic. They deserve a bigger cut and to manage their free time as they see fit. Shame on management!
Susan Spaulding: The way the Fort Wayne Philharmonic management is demeaning and trying to shame their employees is disgusting. These are professional musicians who probably started working on their craft in middle school and pursued a college degree in their instrument. They dedicate hours of practice each week to the full orchestra and independently. They have purchased and must upkeep fine instruments. They are asking for a living wage. Give it to them and stop being petty. You are only hurting your own organization by putting that hateful rhetoric out there. The one star rating is for the management - not the musicians or their performances.
Dan Kerr: Shame on you
Joel Bonitz: Refuses to pay musicians a fair wage, and then blames the victim when they go on strike. This organization has no respect for musicians or patrons. Until they begin taking responsibility for their own callousness, the public will suffer. Fire all of them and replace with people who actually care.
Nancy Vinson: Just attended The Nutcracker last Sunday with the philharmonic. The music was outstanding and made the ballet even more enjoyable. Last July 4, I attended the free concert at Prkvw field, AMAZING and moving! The FW Philharmonic orchestra is such an asset to the community and surrounding area! FW needs this wonderful orchestra!
Patrick Nash: Great venue!
Catherine Graham: A treasure in Fort Wayne. I have gone to many concerts for years and have always loved live music. The Fort Wayne philharmonic is a total experience for the mind and soul. You can tell the musicians love what they do and they want their songs to reach their listeners. I am always touched by the live music and just the quality of the talent which is amazing. The Fort Wayne Philharmonic has such talented musicians that are really stars of Fort Wayne.
Jaymie Banti: Great venue, incredible experience, extremely helpful staff, great customer service. I accidentally purchased the wrong tickets, but they were quick to help me get the correct ones. Highly recommended.
John Moore: A top rated orchestra in a beautiful concert hall. A real treasure.
Lon Jones: Great people, great performances! True Fort Wayne treasure.
Pavel Morunov: Just wonderful
Rosa Lynn: The last, little gem of culture in Fort Wayne.
Mike Amorini: Very good venue
Elizabeth Fitzpatrick: We went to the Holiday concert at the Embassy Theatre in December . The music was beautiful and the orchestra was spectacular. It made Christmas very special
Roderic Griffin: The concert featuring the Verdi "Requiem" was a fantastic performance. The orchestra and the chorus were outstanding. The fact that the conductor did not subject the audience to the inane comments that he loves to inflict made the performance even more enjoyable. Good music speaks for itself. A good performance speaks for itself. The conductor should let the music and the performance speak for themselves. His drivel does nothing to enhance the experience. Constantine is an outstanding musician and an excellent conductor, but he is at best a mediocre speaker and a horrible comedian.I do not wish a cold or laryngitis on anybody, but I was relieved when Constantine's condition caused him to spare us his usual drivel.

Quinlan & Fabish Music Company: what do users think?
Natanael Campos: Friendly knowledgeable people
Luis: The Fort Wayne Quinlan and Fabish store is not professional. The employees lack customer service skills and were not helpful during my visit. There were instances of unprofessional behavior, such as discussing personal experiences and drug use. The manager was uninterested in helping customers and spent time on his phone. The store has received negative feedback from other customers and local schools have cancelled contracts with them. I cannot recommend this store.
Matt Arnold: The staff is extremely helpful and will take time to help you choose the right instrument. 🎻
Robert Stack: Friendly company, helpful staff.
Kathy Kincaid: I have used this store for the past few years for my kids musical instruments. I have never had a problem with service or buying anything. They seem to always be in stock. The only down side is prices are a little high. However I would rather spend a few more dollars in my community than spend it on big box stores. Buy local snd the money stays local! They repair and maintenance musical equipment. They have music, instruments, and anything you may need for your instrument.
deathgirl 767: Friendly knowledgeable staff
Brymyson: Gavin was amazing, really helped explain everything to a first time band mom. Highly recommend!!!
B McKinley: Great prices and very high quality service and instruments. Definitely would recommend!
Kathi Schaefer: Was hard to find the location
Lucy P: Amazing staff! So helpful and knowledgeable. We upgrade from a beginner flute to an intermediate. They went above and beyond to make sure we made the best choice. We were not rushed amd able to take the time to make the right choice
Layah Gebauer: The workers were very helpful and kind
Bud Goggans: A great place to take your instrument for maintenance and what a selection of instruments to purchase from.
Deb Shumate: Personal service! Very knowledgeable!
Cathey Bowers: I rent my grandsons Trombone from this company every year.Great people
Ash Schoeff: Amazing music store, got a trumpet and it works really well.
Charles Sherer: Nice place... They have a few instruments (trombones, trumpets, saxes, violins) maybe more... They let you try them out too if you ask so... That's pretty cool
teho3809: Bought my daughter's trombone from these guys 4 years ago found out yesterday they've been taking payments out even though I've paid the trombone off
Xavria Vincinci: Good place to grab sheet music locally.
kelly ketchum: Answers questions real good. Freindly and easy to talk too and very helpful
Kevin Kelley: Great staff! Very helpful.
Josiah Kelly: Awesome experience! I went to another music store in town I wanted to purchase instead of rent, The other store was extremely rude and pretty much scoffed at me. Then I visited Quinlan and the salesman explained why rental is a better option for my sons size. I will only come here for my needs and actually just rented a second instrument. We have been customers for years now and I would recommend them to anyone!

The Muse On Main: what do users think?
Tristan Atkinson: Having just discovered this place, I'm extremely sad it's going away. I really wish more places like this existed that allowed others to perform more freely in a real concert environment.
Kari O'Donnell: My daughter invited my husband and I to go watch a friend play in a band. We went and had fun. They had some local art work on display that was for sale. It was interesting.
Nicholas King: Listened to a few bands had alot of fun there was cards to play and seating
FearlessBeez -: Very chill place with cool people and lots of nice art work
keith kaszowski: That place is really a good time and the soda selection is out of this world
Tim Phelps: Damn fine local music and Damn fine sodas with local art!
Chad Sowers: This is a terrific well-run all-ages venue. I strongly urge everyone to support this venue.
Jeremy Kniola: Great intimate venue. Amazing sound and acoustics. We drove 3 hours to see Screaming Females there and it was well worth it. Check out the art and selection of delicious sodas. Highly recommend for your concert experience.
Elizabeth Childs: It's a great place to see unique bands. I only wish they wouldn't play Halloween type old fashioned videos behind the bands. It's so distracting.
Jacob Dantzer: Wednesday evening every week they put on an open jam! House drum set, mics, bass and guitar amps available, or bring your own gear. I just bring my pedalboard and bass. There are some regulars that are very open minded and talented.
Garrett M (GDroidBot): Great performance and practice area!
Logan Reed: Very cool venue space. The fact they don’t serve alcohol I think is rather revolutionary. Good sober spot to hangout and see local music acts. Very unique artwork and shop in this space as well.
joshua GEISE: Very cool venue, friendly staff. Definitely a lot more than I expected walking in the door. I'll be back.
Shaune Duncan: Amazing time!
Christie Badillo: Great place for concerts! One Voice, Jacobs Well and Chaotic Resemblance were Awesome! The muse has seating and plenty of space to stand, dance and head bang. (Lol) They have a nice little concession stand and a little shop with that sells unique local artist work. The whole place is like an art gallery. The Gathering church meets there are Sundays at 2pm if you would would like to come. Overall great place and the owner is a really great guy!
GEORETHIA HARDEN: I enjoyed the muse and did not know it existed. My son performed tonight and killed it. Rvmpage and Crow
Steve Koble: Great place for fans of all ages! They have a nice stage and take good care of the bands playing!!!!!
James Meinzen: Great place to go see live music
Azuli Babs: For sure one of the best live music places I’ve been to and everyone’s really nice
Dan Hicks: Great little local venue. The space for the bands is big enough, while still feeling close to the action. The venue is clean and has great options and prices for drinks and snacks.
Roy Duncan: Awesome all ages music venue!!!

Piere's Entertainment Center - Live Music and Entertainment: what do users think?
John Ginder: It was my first visit there. Drove up from indianapolis to see a show that I was really excited to see. When I got there , 1st of all the place looks cool, secondly that the stage is right there. no matter where you stand ,you're gonna be able to see fine. And I could get right up front even in the front row if I wanted to and it was great towards the visual the sound was good also.If you really want to see a band that you really enjoy and they go to this location. I think you would not be disappointed in your experience.I wish google would let me add more photos because I have a lot more and send that to not really good.
Thomas J: I don’t know who was in charge of this place but I was not impressed at all. I purchased VIP tickets for early entry and for Skid Row’s sound check. We were supposed to enter at noon for the sound check but had to wait outside for over half an hour in the cold before we were allowed in. Then we were supposed to be allowed inside at 6:30, early entry and it wasn’t until about 7:00 before we got in. Several people were asking what was going on and no one could give us any answers. I’ve also heard better sound systems as well. Will not go back to this venue, there are better ones in Fort Wayne!
teka abner: Favorite spot for love music
Edward Wilges: Love going over for the bands . Just have to say didn't like getting home and seeing I was charged 48.00 for a jack and coke along with a vok cranberry twice . When normally it's only 24.96 when I get my drinks
Matthew Hair: A concert I attended started 30 minutes before the advertised start time. I missed the entire set of the first band that played.
Keith Warnimont: What a great venue.. I really enjoyed myself there. The staff are remarkable people.
Joshua Beckley: Always a great local place to see some of my favorite artists!
Casey Warner: This is an outstanding venue to go see live music! I will keep going back again and again.
Twon Vanover: Great venue but way over priced drinks
Chelsey Chronister: Great venue
Karl Jones: It is all ages now and the place looks better.Drink prices are steep and they give you the smallest servings. The bar next door has great burgers.
Cosmo Borden: Racist barIf there are too many people of color in the Hip-hop lounge they give a thumbs up to the DJ to turn it to Techno until they clear out, The place is despicable
Vic Jackson: Went to 3 shows this new years weekend, staff was rude, drinks were pricey, and security was extremely pushy except the one security(bald head w/beard) was very helpful and professional. Employees there think you should worship the ground they walk on, try a different approach. Ive been going to Pieres for 17 years and have NEVER seen 5 cop cars with them all sitting in there vehicles.WAY obsessive police presence and sort of intimidating for all those police. 1 star for the good show that was put on
Huhthisisit: Bar is racist. If there are too many people of color in the pop music section, the bouncers will give a thumbs up to the dj. Who will then switch the music to techno until they leave.
Chris Burch: Piere's is a great place to see top notch live performances of your favorite musical acts. The new owners are great and have really done A LOT to help Piere's become an up to date, amazing venue once again. I would highly recommend stopping in and seeing some of your favorite acts take Piere's main stage! 🙂
Cody Campbell: Saw my good buddies perform here!!! Great service
A man on a mission Earthmover: Very clean and professional place
Shawn Wilde: Rocked on
Robert Lusco: It was a little confusing at first because the separate areas, but all in all, an awesome music venue. Not too large, and everyone was friendly and nice. The Stans room bartenders were way nicer and helpful, making sure to point out deals for the night. Will return.
Grace E: They have done little to fix Piere's up. I was happy there wasn't carpeting to stick to. The floor was still sticky. The bathroom just looks old and tired. The handicap stall has no lighting. I'm told the price of drinks was pretty high. I am a designated driver and couldn't get cup of ice water. A friend bought me a water and I eventually bought a mt dew. The stage was good but the sound was bad. The band was great.
Brandon McDowell: Little dirty and sticky but it's a live music venue, what can you expect.
