Ann VanRyn: Dr Canavati is the BEST there is. I have had 4 back surgeries and he has done all of them.
Charlotte Couch: Dr Canavotti done my neck fusion in 2002 and Removed a cyst on my spine in 2020.He is an excellent surgeon with wonderful bedside manner. If I ever need anything done again I will only have him do the surgery if it's in his field. I would recommend him with great respect .
Amanda Thomas: Dr. Canavati explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood everything before I made my decision. He checked in on me everyday while I was in the hospital also. So far the surgery was a success! I’m still in recovery mode but I am already feeling 100% better then before the surgery!

I had a scheduled noon appointment review of my Lutheran MRI (under anesthesia) today and was not able to come to meet with him because of issues with my MRI. I had to remain at Lutheran. Lutheran called doctor Canavati's office and relayed this to them that I had to remain at Lutheran past noon. Doctor Canavati appeared and reviewed my MRI at Lutheran) for me. Outstanding and my wife and I dearly appreciate his beyond the belief dedication and caring and dearly appreciate him and Amy.
Mike Scheele: I had two separate, unrelated back surgeries within 6 years of each other. One was upper and the other, much more serious and complicated, was for the lower back. The pain was excruciatingly unbearable. Dr. Canavati was amazing!!! I have been totally pain free since 1991 and have lead a very physically active, non-restrictive, normal life and continue to do so approaching 72 years old.
Mauri Bordner: Dr. Canavati removed a malignant tumor from my lower back which was pressing against my spine. My wife had to push me in a wheelchair to the hospital. Tumor was removed and I am on year 5 jogging and swimming! Words can’t express my appreciation for him and staff.Mauri Bordner
Brad White: I have had 2 back surgeries stemming from car accident by Dr Canivati, this back and brain surgeon is outstanding, a genius, I have no pain , 72 with 5 bars in my back and would not be walking today without his surgeries, 5 star surgeon.

Is excellent so I'm rating this only on him, but i agree with the other post, his nurse named Kim is extremly rude and should not be taking calls, i called made an apt. And the apt .got messed up no biggie these things happen, however we do not live in ft. Wayne so i called kim to talk with her about this before we left ft. Wayne i left a message plus called her 3 times with no answer, when she did answer the third time i called she didn't answer hello this is kim how can i help you. She acually answered Lori you have called 4 times DON'T DO THAT AGAIN,...i was beyond in shock that a nurse scolded to me like i was her child, i told her to not talk to me like that again. Listen i know everyone is different but honestly this lady should not be working or dealing with patients she is very unprofessional to the point if the dr. Wasn't such a fantastic surgeon we would not be going there because of her.. so Kim if you read this you truly should treat people like you want to be treated... be nice it's not that complicated.

James Eviston: My long time significant other had successful, complex surgery on her neck.Dr.Canavati is an excellent surgeon.BUT.......When some problems arose after her surgery,l called his office seeking help.I had the misfortune of being connected with a nurse,Kim by name.My lady friend's chief complaint was her left leg was buckling without warning,and down she would go.As l attempted to explain this,I was cut off with a derisive click of the tongue and a snotty "nothing about the surgery Dr.did on her neck has anything to do with her leg!!"Is that so?The initial problem she was hospitalized for was near total paralysis of her legs.Due to pressure on her spinal chord, in her neck.Unable to walk at all.So,when I was told this,I knew I had a real winner on the other end of the phone.Stupidity does not sit well with me.This idiot took the now frustrated and intense tone of my voice as yelling. I did not yell.This woman needs to find another line of work.Night watchman of a cemetery with a problem with vandals would is one thing that leaps to mind.Anywhere that she would not have to deal with anything resembling what she does now.At length, l was able to reach a professional with better,well,everything,lady friend was seen,and all came out good.What brought this freshly to mind was just today spoke with someone that had excellent results from surgery performed by Dr.Canavati.This normally mild mannered, non profane, "churchy" person mentioned they had had a similar run in with Kim.He also described her in strong language that I was unaware he knew.And it did not start with a "B",but the next letter.Highly accurate.

Sywyrd Moon: EXTREMELY rude. Not only did he get visibly upset when my husband was asking reasonable questions, he literally looked at him and said "Look at me and listen. I am the doctor. I am the neurosurgeon. I am the professional here, not you."Did not go through the MRI or imaging with us. Said "it's not bad."My physician had referred me to him after my MRI showed a bunch of arthritis, bone spurs, foraminal narrowing and narrowing of the spinal canal along with nerve impingement. I'm in my mid 30's with no work history to correlate to what's going on. The MRI report and my family doc say it's from congenital malformation.When questioned, he went against those reports and said it's not congenital, it's because I smoke cigarettes and then wide eyed tried to stare me down about it.I've NEVER had a "doctor" act like that. It was as if we were nothing but annoying little pests to him. The look of disgust as my husband continued to ask questions was clear.I asked what to do about the pain in the meantime and he became even more agitated. Instead of asking me about so much as even a pain level, he immediately said "you want pills? I give you pills."I said I *** DON'T want opiates *** because they can be addictive and I don't want to risk anything like that.He interrupted me to say "You want them or what?". My husband explained that the family doc had referred us to him and that I'm being woken up multiple times a night in pain and have been in pain for weeks now. He says very rudely "I'm not a pain doctor. I'm a neurosurgeon. So You want the pills or what?" Again. As if I'm just fishing for pain pills after I clearly stated I didn't want opiates.While scheduling the follow-up, the lady tells me that he's prescribed hydrocodone. He prescribed opiates after I said I didn't want opiates.In summary, I won't be taking those pills and I won't be returning to him. I'll find someone else to follow up with. This was nothing but a waste of my time and energy. I got no answers, no clarity and left feeling worse than when I went in.There's no way I'm letting a man who doesn't even have the care to answer my questions or listen to me cut open my neck.

Tammy Meyer: Dr. Qureshi performed a very difficult spine surgery on my Mother two weeks ago and he also did a spine surgery on my stepdad in January! He is not only an amazing doctor he was very compassionate to both of them and informative to us, the family. I was so impressed with him. Dr. Qureshi is a class act and the best in his field.

Megan Spice: Was very rude and unempathetic. Told my family that he only worked on children during emergencies so to be happy that it wasn't an emergency but billed us for services. My child was in the NICU with a head injury. I still don't understand why he would bother coming into the NICU at a children's hospital if he doesn't work on children!
Katie J: Terrible waste of time and a lot of money. Find a different doctor. He did nothing for me, didn’t listen to me, he was rude and couldn’t be bothered. The office doesn’t return voicemails, the referrals never happen.

She was incredibly thorough and spent time explaining possible medications, including risks and benefits, as well as clinical data on success rates of different medications. I never felt rushed, and she is very easy to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone, and I am thankful to have her caring for me.
Angie Vest: I recently saw Dr. Andrea Haller for symptoms I have experienced for over 2 years. She was thorough in her exam and immediately ordered additional testing at my initial appointment to help diagnose and rule out medical conditions. I am very impressed with her professionalism and attention to detail. I was very nervous about my appointment due to not knowing what to expect, but I know I am in good hands with Dr. Haller.

Kimberly Mayfield: Terrible!!! Dr Kachmann did back surgery on my fiance back in April and have had nothing but problems since.no one will see him can't even make an appointment because no one ever answers the phone at the office. He's in more pain now than before the surgery and they won't even call us back. Idk how anyone could do that to someone. He's in pain constantly and miserable and they don't seem to care.
Sharon Sites: Dr. Kachmann performed my back surgery March 2016. Before surgery, I couldn't walk over 15 yds. without my legs quitting. Surgery lasted over 7 hours and recovery took me about one year, but I now am as active as I was 7 years ago. (Not bad for pushing 70). Dr. Kachmann and staff were skilled, efficient, and very helpful throughout my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Kachmann.
Denise Bloomfield: My husband was treated by him terrible doctor he got sepsis Kashman sent him home for 6 weeks with a broken back and all he had to do was fix him the first day I hope he gets what's coming to him I hope he rots in hell

Rudy did my first one Jeff has done all of the rest. They have changed my life in more ways than I can say. Because of them I am still walking and I look forward now to a better life and enjoying time with my family. I still have a long way to go but I know they are there if I need them. I feel they are the best in there field. They are honest and professional. They have supported me and family during these tough times. I will never go any where else. Kristy Prine: Dr. White is a great doctor. He is very caring and takes the time to talk to you and make sure you understand everything. He is also very good and doing all the testing needed before he even thinks of doing surgery. I would recommend Dr. White to anyone that has back problems. Best doctor I have seen in awhile.
