The pricing was similar to other nurseries in the area, but much better product than what I have seen from other local nurseries

Rindy Schlatter: Beautiful plants - if you enjoy plants at all, you'll enjoy just walking through their selection (a good variety of succulents, low and bright light tropicals, and air plants). I've been there when I'm the only customer on a weekday afternoon and on a Saturday when 10+ people are walking through, regardless the staff were friendly and available to help with plenty of info and suggestions. I love my ficus - it's still gorgeous after 8 months. The pots are high quality and elegant with fun color options. They'll pot them for you and you'll leave with instructions to give your plants proper care. A great gift idea!

Their selection is always exciting to browse through! All plants I have purchased from this shop are healthy and doing well. In the photos are the old man cactus, peanut cactus, hoya wayetii variegated, a the moss pole from Honey Plant.

Ms. Mathildearrived a little earlier than expected and was so well packaged it was completely IMPOSSIBLE for it to incur damage. I love her!

Lucas Gardner: Beautiful store and kind people. However, every plant I have bought there does not thrive. You can see where they cut the plant to propagate it here. The dead part expands from where the initial cuts took place. I am sure there are plenty of factors involved, change of environment. Honey plant also receives so much natural sunlight, as opposed to artificial UV lights. I do appreciate the cards they include with each plant, but I have had better buys on Etsy!

Ashley Taylor: I LOVE THIS PLACE! You get to see the things that you can't normally find other places. The owner is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I've been on the lookout for a dragon scale alocasia, and when i mentioned this she took my name and number and said she would contact me if she came across one. I didn't hear from her for a couple months, so thought I'd call in and check. She immediately said "Yeah, they're so hard to find right now!!! But I've still got your info and I haven't quit trying!" I was shocked that she was actively looking for one (as opposed to just picking up one if she ran across it)... that she was STILL trying to find one... and that she even remembered my request in the first place lol! Kudos to her. This place is a little sanctuary for plant people and has a beautifully relaxing atmosphere (even though I'm always loud, obnoxious, and overly excited when I'm there). So thankful she brought this to Fort Wayne!

Lucia Fouts: I love this greenhouse and Florist and always have.I have appreciated that they have signs on the door that say that we have to wear masks walking inside. I work at a hospital and care for sick and fragile patients and therefore this is important to me.When I walked in today to buy some things for Mother's Day and went to check out at the cashier the cashier was not wearing a mask and was also encouraging a customer to come in without a mask. When I called later to ask the manager about why they were not following their own policy and why the cashier was maskless she said the cashier couldn't wear a mask, which calls into question why she was working with the public. I suggested the cashier could wear a visor and the manager cut me off and hung up. So, sadly, one star for not sticking to your own policy. I won't be buying from you again.

Gayle Stuhrberg: They always have the most beautiful and abundant choices in their nursery, greenhouses and gift shop areas. TIL that the Indy based McNamara's bought the Sand Point while it was in bankruptcy back in the mid Aughts, so it's still the pre-eminent florist and nursery in the area.

They are very conscientious to get the details right and to provide the atmosphere the customer is looking for, usually far exceeding their expectations. When I see someone trash them with a one, I am always reminded that there are some people that you can not make happy. How have they made so many people happy through the years and one event be so off. Beware of those that have ulterior motives. This is one of the best values in the area, used for private events and larger business functions regularly for a reason.

They made our dreams come to life. We had a large wedding and they were able to comfortable accommodate us. We also had some family members with allergies and they were able to accommodate all of our guests needs. Brittany did an amazing job on the food, cupcakes and our cake. We got so many compliments the charcuterie table, dinner and desserts! The Orchid helped us make our day special and we are forever grateful for the memories we made!

In my experience there are some people you just can’t make happy. When the same person has bad reviews for 3 of their vendors that are typically rated EXCELLENT and known among their peers as excellent. Something isn’t adding up. Yes, mistakes happen, absolutely but slander isn’t the answer.I have been in the wedding industry in the Fort Wayne and surrounding area for over a decade. I was the director for the most sought after and booked out event center in the Midwest (over 500 events to date since 2018) and was being asked daily for recommendations on vendors. The 2 venues I managed had the option for open catering and we did not charge a commission to our catering companies. So we were not getting any kickback at all from vendors unlike most venues. So our recommendations were strictly based on customer service and products received. Guests were able to have any catering company they would like. The first company I always recommend for any type and size of event is The Orchid.Solitaire, Grace and their team are exceptional. They have always been professional and bend over backwards to make an event successful. Above and beyond is an understatement. Their team is always professional even with the seemingly younger average age, they are the same staff that had been working events for a long long time. They are excellent.The food is always so great and the kitchen can make anything happen! Soft serve ice cream bar, prime rib carving station, broasted chicken (my favorite), custom Chicago sliders and Chicago dogs for a wedding-in the middle of a field under a tent. Family style, buffet or plated they make it memorable.The Orchid is more than a catering company. They are a team of caring professionals working to make sure clients are taken care of in a time where supply for specialty items (like actual Orchids) is low and finding labor (especially great quality labor) is impossible.Solitaire and Grace pour their souls into each event they are caring for. You can feel it in their service and you can taste it in their food.

But we trusted her creative process, focusing on the color palette we wanted and the few flowers we didn’t like.The biggest thing was we wanted texture and some different kinds of florals to give it a fall, garden vibe. They knocked it out of the park! There were all these interesting flowers like blue thistle and some I didn’t know the names of. We loved it all! Everyone commented about how beautiful the flowers were too.The wedding florals were reasonably priced for the quality and time spent on our small order. We also wanted to do bud vases and they were very honest about it being more affordable to get some from Trader Joe’s for the simple reception look we wanted. Highly recommend Broadview Florist for your wedding flowers.

I was 3 weeks early for the date I needed them. The woman who was behind the counter made me feel as if I was imposing on her before I even told her what I was looking for. No smile at all but a rude, "when are you looking for the flowers" and "daisies are very hard to make into a bouquet" and "it is a very busy weekend and I don't know if I can help you". I was looking for the flowers on the Friday of the weekend of Mother's Day and a prom. I would have understood if she simply and nicely just said that the florist was too busy. It was the way that I was treated when it wasn't warranted. I did not return the rudeness at any time.

While all the other arrangements from Armstrong or Young’s Flowers were fresh & beautiful, mine was an embarrassment. Drooping, old flowers with so much greenery it was ridiculous. For the large amount of money I spent, I was disgusted. Go somewhere else!

Chrissy Curry: My husband ordered a bouquet of flowers for me for Christmas, direct from this location. They were delivered quickly and looked pretty, but were small for the price. The reason I am giving 2 stars is only because of the quick delivery. They didn't come in the pretty vase that was shown online. They were delivered in a Mason jar. And after about 4 days my entire kitchen started to smell like rotten fish. I thought it was the water at first, but after changing it the smell was still very strong. I sprayed them with cologne to try to get rid of the smell, but that didn't work. I had to just throw them away, which was sad after less than a week.

We aren’t from there so got a recommendation from a family member and they said Morings. Whoever answered the phone was not interested in asking me anything but the name and address for the delivery. I was hoping to have a conversation about what they had and might design for her but didn’t get that far. I appreciate kind and friendly service and I could tell that was not going to be the case. Called Armstrong Florist and they were amazing and so sweet and attentive to my questions and design requests!

Im sorry that you weren't feeling the best going into work today but please do better when speaking to customers.

We had looked online before visiting and my husband had noticed that they offered Mac N Cheese with an option to add pulled pork. when we arrive the menu on the wall doesn't say adding pulled pork is am option, but the sandwich is still listed so he asks the waitress if he can still do that. she responds that they no longer have pulled pork, and he settles for a hamburger like myself. We also then wish to order a slice of cheesecake to be told that it wasn't ready yet, but would likely be soon and that we could still add it to our bill if we would like. We did and proceeded with our order. After a fair amount of time, our food arrived. We were both saddened by the portions for the money we had just spent, but the quality was good. we finished our meal waiting patiently on our cheese cake. Nearly 20 minutes after we had finished my husband finally decides to check with the waitress on it. to our disappointment we were told 'yeah it's just not going to happen today'... disappointed in the lack of service and communication we asked for a refund for the slice of cheesecake and left. Our first experience will likely be our last.

Jeff Price: Great selection of ciders and drinks. The drink flight was very good with the right amount of pour. The pretzels and cheese along with the cornbread casserole were great treats as well.

Absolute Truth: I had a delicious experience. It was my first time going to Ambrosia Orchard, I stumbled up on the place by trying to attend a plant swap. I had never heard of Mead, either way, I had a great experience and definitely will visit again. 🍷🍾😊
