Cordelia: Very nice, but would not recommend the camp.Absolutely gorgeous, and everyone is friendly.It does have a farm camp, which advertises “ Young adults ages 11 and up also learn about Beekeeping and visit our hive to see the bees at work.”when I went a few years back we weren’t aloud to interact with the animals.The only time we learned something was when we did a trivia game once.(It could have been due to how hot it was though)But I did still really enjoy the camp, it just wasn’t what was advertised.

Adam Miller: Had a great time at the Fall Festival this weekend! Kids got to pet goats, drive tractors, ride in a barrel train, watch a saw mill demonstration, and grab some ice cream! Nick Niman: Considering this event is free there is a lot to enjoy. Antique tractor hay rides, horse/mule drawn hay rides, antique equioment demonstrations, all on a beautiful piece of historic farm property! My kids loved it (ages 6 & 11)!

Kathryn DeYoung: The past two times we have visited, Kameron has been the employee running laser tag. He does a phenomenal job explaining the games and maintaining safety- all while keeping it fun.

Kevin Flores: I've visited before. However, the most recent because of a company party, and I had a great time just as always. I was able to see their capability of holding larger parties. With multiple different activities ranging from casual to heart racing, including but not limited to; a putting course, axe throwing, Lazer tag, and doge ball. There is also an arcade that takes you to a new level with immersive VR games. The snake bar offers a variety of meals, snacks, and drinks for everyone in the family. Ranging from soft drinks and slushes to their 21+ selection.

Rob Motsinger: This is a great place for many different activities. Playgrounds for the family, a lake, and many deep and twisty trails great for walking and for biking. Keep your eyes out and ears open for other bikers.
Jared Numbers: The park and it's facilities are well-cares for. Beautiful sites. And the proximity to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is a huge bonus. Great place to take the kiddos.

J Preston: Beautiful area trails. If your on one trail you can easily get off course with several hidden trails. It was pretty muddy for my dog and I the day we went, and I couldn’t get many photos, but we still had fun. Highly recommend.

Ellie Neuerburg: So so pretty! A perfectly foggy morning with nobody else around. Got to enjoy a view from the middle of the pond thanks to the available deck, and got to make friends with some of the baby geese. Enjoyed a seat on the waters edge when I got surrounded by the little guys, which was such a serotonin boost! A gorgeous sunrise shining through the flowers allowed for a very pretty photo op and truly added to the experience.

Jordan White: Very friendly people and a cozy shop, situated right on the riverside. We rented a tandem kayak for 2 hours, got to paddle up and back with nice wildlife and wooded views. Had we gone the other way we could’ve seen downtown from the river. We’ll definitely be back.
O M: Nice experience. I will say, I find it odd that to be an outfitter shop of nature lovers, the customer service wasn't very friendly like usual places. Not rude either, just kind of cold and seemingly uninterested in answering questions or giving any helpful information.

Bella puga: We had booked 2 hours to go kayaking and the weather said it really wouldn’t rain and on the small chance it did It would just be a drizzle(even up to 12hours before) but about 30 minutes into our kayaking it started pouring and I mean downpour so we found a bridge to get underneath and called the shop. We asked if we could just get an hour the next day or even later when it’s not pouring and they told us to come back to the building to talk to the manager so we rowed back only to be told that we couldn’t do get an hour moved for the unexpected rain and couldn’t go back on since we got off even though they were the ones who told us to come back. If they had told us on the phone we couldn’t get the time then we would’ve simply stayed out hanging out on the river under the bridge but that wasn’t the case. Not coming back considering Fort Wayne weather can be sketchy not worth it. Their reason is it’s difficult to prep the kayak to go back out which frankly isn’t true easily done so if I’m choosing not to go back. Would be amazing on a nice day but we got unlucky and got unexpected rain and no help.

Fred Flynn: The company shamelessly requires tells every new customer that an email verification is required to complete the legal liability waiver. That is a disappointing manipulation just to confirm an email for future marketing purposes and potentially selling your email as a validated marketing tool. The liability waiver is understandably necessary, but all the personal information they require plus the signature is more than enough to complete the waiver, yet they tell the consumer we must confirm the email as well, which is simply not true.Otherwise, the kayaks are very good and the people working the location are kind. It is unfortunate that whoever is running the business side of it is overreaching on data gathering.
Bradan Taylor: Make your reservation online before arriving.They have a nice launching ramp to put into the water without having to get wet. The river was nice and enjoyable. Would definitely come back again.
Tayler Milliken: My husband and I went in search of new bikes and Tim & the team at Fort Wayne Outfitters were fantastic! We are amateurs at best and they were so attentive and helpful. From finding the right bikes for our riding style to the rack for the back of our SUV. Tim & Maggie walked us through all the minor details of our new bikes and accessories. Left feeling confident and excited for the adventure that awaits! Looking forward to our next visit to the shop.
Catherine Martin: I had a great rental experience at the Outfitters today. I hadn't used their online system before, but it was super easy and convenient. No paperwork at all when I got there, just a quick check-in with some very friendly and polite kids who got me in a kayak and on my way in no time! There were a ton of other paddlers and party boats on the water, so I would suggest going on a weekday if your schedule permits. I like it a bit quieter...but it's nice to see so many people enjoying Promenade Park and the rivers.

Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation and Riverfront Fort Wayne celebrated the fourth year of Promenade Park at the “Dragon Boat Races” on August 4-5, 2023. Around 5,000 people joined us for the two days to learn more about Dragon Boat Racing, take part in family friendly activities provided by the Fort Wayne Chinese Friends and Family, watch traditional Chinese performances, listen to music by "We are CheckMark", enjoy floating fire pits on the St. Marys River featuring Fire Dancers, participate in Tai Chi, or especially to compete in the 2023 Races! We are so thankful for the 11 teams that competed this year as well as the Fort Wayne Chinese Friends and Family Association and McDonalds Owners/Operators of Greater Indiana and Southwest Michigan for making this event possible. Generally, the spaces available for rent in Promenade Park are the Park Foundation Pavilion (inside and outside), Auer Lawn and Sweetwater Band Shell East, Old National Bank Plaza and Sweetwater Band Shell west, and the historic Wells Street Bridge. The only space that is entirely covered, and therefore weather-proof, is the indoor portion of the Park Foundation Pavilion.

At Promenade Park there are 3 Ping Pong Tables, 2 Cornhole games and 1 Foosball table for your enjoyment!

Abbie Thiebaut: We rented the Park Foundation Pavilion for our wedding rehearsal dinner and our wedding ceremony. Both experiences were great! The staff is professional and accommodating.The space was so unique and perfect for a downtown Fort Wayne wedding ceremony!

Carissa Lahrman: Excellent splash area for all ages! Great playground for ages 4 and up. Less to do for younger children. Park is absolutely stunning, a jewel of the community. Nice walkable areas with vistas overlooking the river front.

Nicholas King: Pretty fun to skate. The wooden bridge has nets so its toddler friendly very beautiful views both day and night.Playground: Minimal. But there is a water park a merry-go-round some drums a slide and a jungle gym.Restrooms: Bathrooms by the playground are (as of feb 10 2023) only open between may and october must use pavilion bathrooms
Analilia Gregg: We got married at the Promenade Park Pavilion and it was perfect!! Great price, beautiful location, overall wonderful experience! They worked with us on getting the exact seating and set up that we were looking for. The only thing I hope they change in the future is their choice of vendors. They were limited on options. Otherwise, everyone was very nice and helpful and we had a beautiful day!!
