Fort Wayne Sports and Social Club: what do users think?
Darby McCracken: I have played a lot of recreational sports as an adult and without a doubt this was the most unprofessional organization I have ever experienced. Different rules for different teams, unorganized and severely lacking in leadership. Save your money and don't play any leagues with FW Sport and Social.
Jason Pedersen: Great club for adult sports
Parker Cade: This is an awesome club with several sports to choose between filled with great people. The guys who run the show are also awesome!Friends and I have played through FWSSC for years now and played soccer, kickball, softball and volleyball.Definitely a recreational league to have fun but can still be competitive from time to time which is a great balance. Get your friends together and join a sport!
Ashley Pippin: Fort Wayne Sports and Social Club is how I met most of my friends after moving to Fort Wayne 4 years ago. All of the staff and players have been so welcoming, I still play every session I can! You can join any sport with a small or large group, or you can sign on as a free agent like I did and be assigned to an already existing team. If you are considering joining FWSSC, do it!
Laura Silvers: Love playing fall softball!
Cameron Youngblood: I play Flag Football with the FW sport & Social Club. I’m new to the area and didn’t have a team so I started 3 months ago as a Free Agent. They were able to get me on a team with a weeks notice. Super accommodating! Very fun and competitive league. I look forward to playing flag football every wesnesday!
Jennifer Mahocker: Fun-loving, welcoming group of people who like to play sports, laugh, and be social. My spouse and I have participated for years. We have made some great friends.
Ben Fendel: Fantastic way to meet new people! I recommend the leagues to all my friends and coworkers.
Eden Stewart: Join already and meet some new friends while getting some exercise! You'll love it! I do.
Chance Bruv: The people who run it are very understanding and do a great job! If you have any questions they usually respond very fast and can make things work. Players in the league are allowed to drink and are all very respectful. If you’re looking for something fun to do or meet new people this is great!
WeAreTheReapers: Great league to meet people. Many different levels of skill can come and play and have a great time. Great staff even though they always take the ugliest pictures of me 😂
Shannon: My whole family plays in this league and we absolutely love it! It's a great way to stay active, meet great people & have fun. Chris and Ro are keen on comradery and respect which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable.
Jessica Slone: Great way to meet new people while having fun!!
Josh Kearby: Lots of fun!!
Kyle Hettinger: It has been a blast playing in this league. I really like that it’s much more affordable than leagues in the area with similar structure.
Joe Gates: Best sports club in Fort Wayne. A great way for adults to meet new people and show off their athletic ability no matter what level you are! So many sports and activities to choose from and great people to be around!
Caleb Saylor: FWSSC is one of the best things about the city for active people looking to meet friends! Most sports are just competitive enough to make it fun while still being able to be social. I met a lot of life-long friends, and my wife, through the league and still able to stay active year-round!
Ryan Proegler: Awesome way to stay active and meet people in the FW area. I played in multiple leagues before moving out of the area, but I still drop by and play with old friends whenever I’m in town.
Shane Linlker: Best place to play sports and make friends!
Brandon Spice: A great opportunity to stay active while meeting new people. New friends, romance, and professional networking are all on the table. The league is well organized and offers a wide variety of sports for everyone. Each sport is competitive, but not overly which welcomes all athletic abilities. The only regret I have about the league is not signing up sooner!
Todd Mell: I always have a blast with FWSSC - and it’s a great way to meet new people!

Cherry Hill Golf Club: what do users think?
Stephen Garden: Perfectly fine golf course, greens could do with some pitch mark repair. Obviously, the onus for that falls squarely on people who fail to do so, but for the $50 green fee you would expect a little better maintenance when compared to other similar quality courses in the area that do not charge as much and whose greens are better. High greens fees are compounded by the fact that they don’t offer a walking rate - as an avid walker I hate that choice not to offer one. If the course was in better condition I could excuse it. For those reasons, I rarely play here unless someone invites me.
Michael Myers II: Solid course with above average course conditions for the area and friendly staff.
Henry Nussbaum: Great course!!! Difficult but very well maintained. Great staff, very friendly. The cart boys do a great job!
Mike Paquette: Course is beautiful and fun! Unfortunately a 5 hour round is just too much. No Rangers available to move the slow groups and even after a call to the clubhouse to warn them about groups stacking up there was no follow through.
Todd B: Not the course that it used to be but still a decent course to play. Like most Fort Wayne courses it has become much busier because of all the courses that have closed in the area. Very slow golf most of the time.
Jon Tropf: Played it on a Saturday - late afternoon (445pm) with a buddy. For what the course is - to charge $56 is a bit steep. We asked if there was a twilight rate and they said it started at 6pm, which is the latest I've ever heard of a twilight rate. Conditions were wet, but not soaked. Greens were slow. My buddy has played it before and said Greens were usually slow. Felt that had they been faster, it would've made the experience better. Sand traps were nice, and had real sand in them, which was good to see. Fairways and tee boxes, in great shape. In terms of layout - there are some great holes. #6 is the signature hole - a legit island green par 3. That hole is why I recommend everyone play it. The final three hole stretch of 16-18 is pretty good as well. Mixture of risk, reward on each hole. Overall, the course isn't extremely difficult. Misses are more penalized toward the green than off the tee.Worth playing once, but if the price stays that high I probably won't play it again. All in all, I enjoyed the round, but felt it was overpriced for what it is.
Sam Oren: They don’t have enough carts to accommodate all of the golfers on weekends. There were at least 15-20 golfers all waiting for a cart to show up. Disorganized when the carts arrive too. They run out of coolers so you get a plastic bag with ice that melts in minutes. Clubhouse staff was depleted. Several greens have bad diseases growing all over them. Bunkers are in pretty good shape. The nice thing about this course is the beautiful homes that surround it. Overall another underwhelming experience here. BUY MORE GOLF CARTS that’s ridiculous.
Kaden Arnold: This course is in fantastic shape! Considering the condition it was in a few years ago, a huge improvement! Friendly staff. Wish the chipping area was a little bigger
Todd Lochner: Very nice golf course, we had played Cherry Hill years ago on this annual golf trip, the new players who weren’t involved with this trip in the past suggested we add Cherry Hill back to the list of courses we play. The staff were very accommodating and we were all very pleased with our experience.
Doug Fulk: Good
Justin Sloan: Beautiful course. Traveled a little over an hour to play here and I'm glad I did. Beautiful fairways. Generous amount of challenge. Was busy while here but everyone that plays here seems patient and understanding. Some of the greens were a little ruff but that's not entirely the courses fault. Club house was a little depleted, but this could have been from the time of year and covid. If you're in the area I recommend giving this course a go.
NT: Decent price but portions of the course are being neglected. Slowly losing its status as a premiere course in the city
Gene (Gene): Nice course and driving range.
Dean Raber: Great Course, beautifully kept.
Colby Dysert: Fantastic course. Challenging but fun. Doesn’t hurt I shot my career low here either. The island green on 6 is a blast to play. Also, several of the fairways are wide so it’s accommodating to golfers of all levels. I would highly recommend this course!
Joe Oherron: Way over priced for condition. For a "premier " this place is in terrible shape. Clover and weeds all through the fairways. Nobody fixes ball marks on the greens. All round just not worth the price. For as much as you pay they should be able to at least spray for weeds.👎👎
Anthony Konieczki: Pricey , no senior rate ,😥.
Robin Jackson: Great food. Great service.
Tom Litchin: Had my first hole in one ever, great course!
Menno Lengacher: Horrible service.....old guy is kind of a loser....
China Joe: Great place here folks .!!! Came for the golf Left with a wife... Thank you Cherry Hill..
