Ellie LOL: We love all the Doctors at FW pediatrics. I love that if our doctor is out of the office we are still able to be seen by another physician or NP. They are always available, with a line to reach an on call physician. Even when it’s is after hours or on the weekends!All the doctors we’ve seen there have been great! We’ve never had a bad experience.

Jeffrey Jent: I almost never write negative reviews, I'm a very understanding person and typically prefer to give folks the benefit of the doubt. We all have bad days and I really do try to always take that into consideration. At Ft Wayne Pediatrics we have had 3 bad experiences and we've only been there 4-5 times. 3 strikes and you are out as far as I'm concerned.1) Our first 3 trips to this place with our daughter we saw 3 different doctors. The Dr who was assigned for our daughter, we frankly didn't like. On our second trip we saw a different Doctor who was filling in and he seemed way more genuine and engaged than the other two Doctors we saw previously. We absolutely LOVED him. He was technically NOT our Daughters doctor but we wanted him to be. We requested to have him be our Dr and we were told no. That was frustrating, but we went with it and again it is in my nature to give folks the benefit of the doubt. I even told my wife, lets just see this other Dr a few times and I'm sure we will warm up to her.2) A few months later we have a regular check up scheduled to get some shots. They take us to the small waiting room (which our daughter hates and I'm sure most toddlers are not happy to be sitting/waiting in the small, claustrophobic waiting rooms). The last time we were in this room our daughter received shots, so naturally she is associating this place as scary. The Dr even mentioned to us that at this age toddlers are usually scared of the Dr and will be upset when they come in. That is fine, but if they know that is the case why would they take us from the lobby and put us in the small waiting room and make us wait 30 MINUTES! Our daughter was completely fine in the main lobby area with the fish tank and TV's. They should not have called us back if they were not ready for us. Are these people that clueless? They see kids all day long, what good reason did they have to put us in a small waiting room for 30 minutes. I had to actually leave the waiting room and come out and ask if we were forgotten about. Miraculously the Dr had time for us all of a sudden.3) And then the final straw of unprofessionalism. We called this morning because our Daughter had a fever of 103. We didn't wait on the Doctor to call back to get her taken care of and good thing we didn't, because they did NOT return our call all day. Imagine your pediatrician, not returning your call about your child having a fever of 103?If you want good care for your children, I'd steer clear of this place.
Jensen J: We had to visit the walk in clinic when our daughter got sent home from school. They got us in quicker than any other walk in clinic. They were great with her and the lab was so quick and very helpful.So glad they have the walk in clinic.
Amanda Melcher: HEADS UP to anyone utilizing the Saturday clinic hours..you will be charged a $50 fee for being seen outside of normal clinic hours. This is on top of any co-pay and unfortunately, insurance does not cover this $50 fee. The co-pay was collected in the office at the time of service, but there was no mention of the additional $50 charge until I got a bill for it, after the fact. Would have been nice to have been informed of the fee when I scheduled the appt or at check-in. My son has been a patient at FW Peds for 11 years and have been happy here, however my business would have been taken elsewhere had I known and will not be visiting this clinic outside of normal business hours again.

My daughter can’t see a female doctor, she has to see a male doctor since my sons saw a male doctor. It’s nuts. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Also, Janelle in the office is extremely rude.

Shelby Lynn: I have had all three of my children in the care of the physicians at Fort Wayne Peds for 10+ years...I was actually a patient of Doctor Bollier's when I was a college student. I cannot say enough about the level of personal care that they have given to our family over the years. Recently, we moved further away and were considering changing practices for the convenience. But, after a few simple well-check visits with Doctor Bollier, I was convinced to stay. He took time to engage with my child, to impart wisdom, and he understands both the physical and psychological needs of children. I feel like my children receive a "whole-child" check-up when they go in each year. Plus, the walk-in clinic, on-call team and other doctors all have great bedside manner. If you are new to the area and are concerned with this large practice not being personal enough, don't be. For us, Doctor Bollier and the others there have been great and has made it feel like a small-town office.

Shawn McCarthy: In a pediatric practice, it is the little things that matter.And PAI falls short.1. They continuously failed to pronounce my children's names correctly after several corrections (and it isn't like the names are very complicated).2. When I lost my job and my family had to switch to Medicaid, the treatment we received from the office staff changed significantly and we were treated like second-class citizens.3. A few years ago one of my daughters had some issues right after she was born. The symptoms were RSV-like but the hospital claimed they tested for it. She was admitted only a few days after being sent home. The on-call physician from PAI was rude and dismissive to my wife when she asked about outside consultation to the point where I had to find a babysitter for our other kids and come there myself to deal with him. We ended up consulting an outside physician who quickly realized that the hospital had NEVER actually done and RSV test and that was in fact what my newborn had. After a 7 day saga she was treated and released a few days later. To add insult to injury, PAI continued to bill us for consultations in the hospital despite the fact that we stopped dealing with the PAI doctor and only with the specialist we consulted.4. They don't reliably issue reminders and have a 'no-show' policy that doesn't change for family size. We have 6 kids and we usually scheduled appointments in blocks. One missed instance would count as multiple appointments toward their count.5. We missed a double appointment last year during the pandemic. We didn't get a reminder from them, and one of the kids had a fever (non-Covid related) and we forgot. That was 2 strikes and despite being patients for more than 6 years and having 6 kids in the practice, we were told to find other doctors (and billed for the misses, of course).Now, most of the doctors were great, and we had some great experiences with them. One of the more senior doctors in particular was phenomenal when one of my sons had some scary inflammation in his neck.But the good doctors are being failed by their office staff and a few of their unprofessional peers.We found a new pediatrician office with great nurses, a great doc and a polite and respectful office staff, but we cannot in good faith recommend this practice to anyone else.
Emily Roussel: Dr. Abby Haselden is a fantastic practitioner. She takes her time, she speaks to me and my children clearly and directly. Her bedside manner is extraordinarily compassionate and friendly whether it is a routine or more urgent consultation. Highly recommend.

She really takes the time to listen and answer my questions thoroughly. My daughter is very shy and scared when we go to the dr. She cries and puts up a good fight every time we’re there and dr Abby is so patient and kind with her. We never have to wait in a crowded waiting room and it always seems like their office runs so smooth. I love that we always see a dr and they never make me feel bad about calling the nurses line with a million first time mom questions. Highly recommend!

Aaron Sonner: Dr. Talo was very rude to my wife this morning and very assumptive, even regarding me, although I wasn’t at the appointment. Very unprofessional!
Nicole Culbertson: I love Dr. Tallo and staff. First time with Brittany a Physician for my 15 month well check, and I will never see her again. She was rude, interrupted me when I asked questions. She talked down to me and I was so upset I actually cried in my car. I cried because she actually told my crying 15 month old baby that just got vaccines “ok it’s time to stop” she also grabbed her arm really rough when she wanted to reach for her laptop because that’s what babies do. She was acting annoyed to be treating her. She treated my baby like she was acting badly and she needed to knock it off. She has no empathy or compassion for children. I would not recommend anyone to see her. She should not be in a field that is surrounded by children. She makes the Dr. Tallo office look bad

Rebecca McCue: Went here for the first time tonight. No one asked us to bring anything for this appt. A worker comes in and says we have nothing on him. I asked if that information should/could have been gotten prior to appt. the staff said a real parent would bring that information with them. I said, I think we will keep who we have.I have never in all my years of dealing with doctors or other staff, have I ever been talked to like that.

I love that Dr. Tallo talks WITH the children and their parents, not AT them. He and the staff actively involve the children and their parents in a treatment plan. The other thing I love about Dr. Tallo is that he isn’t stuffy or entitled! He jokes with the children and strives to get to know each one of his patients!

Sweet loving caring makes you feel like your babies are the only kids she sees when she in there with you and will listen to any questions you may have any they never make you feel rushed we love dr Tallo too he’s amazing and my daughter is all about him she said he’s her best friend in the whole world now who don’t want a drs office that makes your kids happy feel special!!!! Sarah Yoder: I would recommend this Dr. Office to anyone. My daughter had spiked a high fever in March of 2020 right when the first Covid lockdowns were happening. Her regular pediatrician told me to took her to a local redi med and they did a flu and strep test on her from the car and it came back negative sending us away with nothing. Still no one would see her I desperately called in to Dr. Tallo's office. Nurse Practitioner Brittany then found that she was indeed positive for strep and gave us the medicine she needed. She was the only person that took the time to see us and give us quality. Thank you to everyone there.

anna wells: Dr. Tallo has had such a great impact on my brothers life and mine. I am now at the age where I will not need a pediatrician, but Dr. Tallo still takes care of me. He really is such a kind hearted person and has taught me so much in life. I am becoming a nurse practitioner because of him. This man has huge impacts on all of the kids that he helps. He is a person you can go to about anything and will always help you no matter what. I highly recommend taking your kids to him because of his huge heart. He has been my doctor for 18 years now and I would not have it any differently. Dr. Tallo has made an impact on my family and will always be apart of it. I consider him a family member to me.
Samantha Erickson: When my daughter was born, we were inexperienced in pediatric physicians therefore we went with whoever was assigned to her through insurance. Six months into very poor care for my daughter and awful treatment to my husband and I, we chose to seek out a new physician for my daughter. Prior to coming to Dr. Tallo’s office, my poor daughter had been put through so much in her short period of life: blood draws weekly, x-rays, swallow studies, sleep studies, trips to Riley to no avail, physical therapy, various medications, to the point the previous doctor wanted to do exploratory surgery on my six month old and that’s where I drew the line. I STILL had a baby who was failure to thrive, 3-5 appointments a week with no improvement and a doctor who just kept insisting that we were doing something wrong. I chose to seek out another opinion and found Dr. Tallo’s office and in ONE appointment, our whole lives changed. Our daughter was easily and quickly diagnosed with acid reflux — that’s it! He prescribed her some medications, gave us some tips and our daughter gained 20lbs in an extremely short time, putting her right back on track developmentally. There was no need for anything that the prior doctor had put us as parents and our daughter through. The staff and Dr. Tallo listened to us, believed us and didn’t once shame us, judge us or insist that we were the problem as our previous doctor had. And they instantly solved our problem and enhanced all of my families quality of life. I’ll always take my daughter to Dr. Tallo and Brittany, they’re wonderful, caring and supportive. I always recommend this practice to everyone.
Shelby Gutierrez: I had a doctor tallo growing up. He is a kind man who addressed every concern my mom had about my health as a child and mine as well. I am a preschool teacher, it has been nice to see some of the children I have taught over the years have doctor tallo as their doctor, it makes me happy to know he is still practicing and caring for children.

I will repeat what I said on Facebook, because I (unlike Dr. Tallo) believe in free speech.He has accused his detractors of being Russian trolls. I am a practicing American physician.Dr. Tallo admits that ritual newborn circumcision is not medically indicated. Yet he continues to perform this excruciating surgery on vulnerable newborns. This is not only unethical, but offends the very oath he took as a physician - to do no harm. He apparently cares more about his business model (ie making money) than he does about speaking out to his patients' parents., and declining to perform newborn circumcision. Shameful.Edited to respond - not only is Dr. Tallo lining his pockets with the proceeds of newborn infant genital mutilation, he doesn't even have the respect to refer to a fellow physician by Dr. Wilke. Sexist much?

K W: First time going here and I was blown away with the patient care we received from Rebecca Blume. She spent tons of time evaluating my child and very thorough. I'm very glad we found this pediatrician office. I would highly recommend them. We were seen at our appt time, very little wait. Everyone was very nice in the office. We had a very good experience!
love music: I have been taking my kids here for 14 years and let me tell you I would never leave there like family here the best docs are Britney Rebecca and dr.verhula lol I never spell it right but every step of the way in my kids life they have always been there around the clock for there patients after hour calling and in office visits the wait is quick and there just and awesome team..

Jen M: This office has a horrific phone system and etiquette!! I called this office to assist my sister in law with follow up while she couldn’t because her child was incessantly crying. I was transferred to a “Nurse” which ended up being a voicemail with absolutely zero greeting. I had to hang up, call back and ask to be connected to a nurse, not a voicemail with no greeting. The receptionist (who doesn’t seem to have appropriate customer service skills) indicated that the Nurse would place a call back to my sister in law due to my niece (an infant) attending an appt for a procedure with the physician and a fever developing the very next day. Albeit risk of infection is communicated before any procedure, this office would not follow up with a simple call back to address this in any way. If there are procedures taking place at this office, there should be open appointments for the following few days to ensure any possible infection is promptly followed up on. Samantha Sheppard: I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr. Veerula’s office. Dr. Rebecca is one of our faaaaavorites. My eldest daughter was continuously in and out of the Er, and our old office with habitual lung/breathing issues.. and this was the first time anyone really listened. Dr. Veerula came in, sat and said.. “tell me her whole story; no, from the beginning”. They sent her in for labs, antibiotic injections and all the steps that have never been done before and she has been the most healthy ever and for over a year now! They fit us in when we need, we are in and out. John is absolutely awesome with my kids, especially my little dude! Dr. Lisa has been so helpful too and they always hear me out. Is the building outdated, sure.. but I’d much rather see that money into the hands of caring professionals.. and what’s on the inside of them. The age old, dont judge a book by its cover. I am grateful for this office of doctors and medical professionals and would highly recommend them.
S Webb: I’ve been taking my kids here for 18 years. Recently I encountered some things that were not like my usual visits with the receptionist Dweeb, on one occasion she shared my child’s private health information on a phone that is no longer my number. Second is with my newborn needing to be seen for her one month well check and other things really needed to discuss with a doctor.I was turned away because of her insurance being in the pending phase. I went to another pediatrician and was scheduled right away with no questions asked, I mentioned the status of the insurance and was told that was not a problem at all. Also Dr Veerula has lots of NP’s or PA’s working in his office so chances of your child actually seeing him is very slim. Most places ask if you mind seeing someone other than your regular provider, not here. They are all great however but each visit is a different person. Thanks to Dweeb my kids are no longer patients of Dr Veerula.
Jeremy Hollinger: Amazing holistic doctor and nurse practitioners!! Office is a little confusing and slow at times but worth the wait if you value professionals who care for your child more than just dispensing drugs!

Justin Moog (Moogster24): Sad Casey isn’t with them anymore. I only liked taking my son to this doctor to visit Casey. I will be looking into new doctors since she not around anymore.
Amber Wetzel: I love this doctor office! All the staff are so friendly and caring. My children also love going here. I never have to fight them to go. Everyone listens to my concerns and looks into them. I always feel at peace when leaving here. I would recommend this practice to any mom any day of the week.
Adrienn Kneipp: Edit 4/20/22Kids Healthcare PC in Fort Wayne failed my baby.I went in two different times, pleading with them that something was wrong with my baby. Called them on the third day, and they told me that they are certain nothing is wrong with him and it’s just a viral cold.I knew something was wrong. I knew he had to have at least an ear infection. So I scheduled with an ear specialist and they told me he had a double ear infection and ruptured ear drum.When I went to the pharmacy to pick up his antibiotics from the ear specialist, the pharmacy notified me I had another prescription from kids healthcare…. I thought, weird. Maybe they finally believed me that something was wrong. But didn’t think anymore of it and left it there. I took the prescription from the ear specialist, since I never heard from kids healthcare and wasn’t sure what it was about.Come to find out…. He had strep THE WHOLE FREAKING TIME and double ear infection!!!!!Kids healthcare PC sent his culture in and NEVER CALLED ME TO TELL ME HE HAD STREP!Never once diagnosed him with double ear infection and the ear specialist said they should have seen it right away.But to never call me and notify me that he has strep?!They claim they called me and my phone must of not had service??? What?! I have voicemail! I asked did you leave a voicemail and they said yes.THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO VOICEMAIL!!It had been a whole week with no diagnosis. A whole week of my baby crying all day and night.He also had scarlet fever from not being treated.AND I would have never known he had strep if it wasn’t for me swapping spit with him to try to figure out what was wrong. Then, I walked into a walk-in clinic and they diagnosed me with strep! If I wouldn’t have done that, I would’ve never known what was wrong or call kids healthcare to find out why they sent a prescription.To act like you did no wrong or take any kind of responsibility for your lack of communication is absolutely terrible!!!!!!Never mind the adults and children he has been around the last 7 days!
Kimberly Squires: Not pleased with our last visitEdit: the advice isn’t hard to hear. It was how rude and condescending the NP was towards me. She didn’t hear me out on anything. I brought in a probiotic that she was taking because her symptoms started when she took them. She didn’t even look at the ingredients in the bottle and just said yes it’s ok for her to take. Her symptoms continued. We stopped yesterday giving it to her. No more symptoms. Thanks a lot. Looks like I solved the problem myself. It’s my job as a parent to advocate for my child. You are in the room for 10 minutes max. I birthed this child and have been with her since she was born. We will find another provider due to the response of this post and how we were treated.
Sarah DiFrancesco: We really enjoy our time with Dr. Tallo! He has taken the time to sit with us, listen to our concerns & empathize! We have never had a doctor spend 30-45 minutes with us just getting to know us & hear about our son. I’m beyond relieved to find a doctor that has helped us in so many ways. I finally feel relieved that my son is on the correct path now & can’t wait to see what great things he will accomplish now with the help he’s received!

Brittany Fountain: I have been taking my kids here for 11 years. They have always been helpful. They give great advice and return calls promptly. Often the wait is very short. I highly recommend taking your kids here.

Brittany not only takes the time to listen to my concerns as a parent, but she takes the time to listen to my kids…even if it takes them forever to finish their stories! You will feel like her only patient that day as she doesn’t rush you along at all. I’d give her 10 stars if I could.
Samantha Blair: I have taken all 3 of my kids here for years.My first daughter started coming when she was 3 years old. She had major asthma issues. She’s now 12 and has learned how to control the asthma because of everything the doctors done.Brittany has been my go to for each kid.She remembers each kid, and asks about them each time!My youngest who is now 1, just had a check up and as always, they did fantastic and answered all my questions I had.I’ll continue to go! Hopefully with no new babies though. 🤣

Tina Parker: I was referred to Kids Healthcare when my children were first placed in my care though the foster system. The care they have received has been top notch! The nurses are always kind and helpful, working us in when needed. Brittany, our nurse practitioner, has been especially amazing, going above and beyond for me and my children. We love her, and my kids know she loves them. My 4 year old daughter now says she wants to be a doctor when she grows up, like “Miss Brittany.” I highly recommend this pediatric office.
jennifer mccloskey: We love Kids Healthcare! Brittany Felton is our fav! She genuinely cares about the kids and is soooo good with them. And we’ve seen a lot of different providers who aren’t great with kids so that was very important to us for our foster loves. Several of my friends recommended this practice and I’m so glad they did!
Brittany Miller: We love Brittany ! Shes always taken great care of my youngest, Bellerose . She makes sure to encourage me that I’m doing a good job as a mother, because let’s be honest, we all need to hear that from time to time . She knows her stuff and is sooooo good with her . She didn’t make me feel like an idiot when my child threw herself on the floor throwing a tantrum because I wouldn’t let her have my phone, she instead gave me helpful advice where as providers I’ve seen for my oldest in the past would just walk away . 10/10 would recommend her to anyone .

Ashley Reynolds: Dr.Tallo and Brittany have been nothing but amazing with my kids. They both battled more then once to try and keep my son out of the hospital when he was younger, and were very honest when he needed to be hospitalized. Always helpful and ready to answer any questions I have. I trust them so much, I even started having them see my niece who has some issues with her stool.

I would give them 10 stars if I could .

We especially love Brittany and her attention to detail, engaging with the kiddos, and always has a nugget of info about them personally, to connect with them.
