Trusted Journey Pet Memorial Services - Fort Wayne: what do users think?
Jessica Walker: We recently had our beautiful boy, Jeter, cremated and we received him back today. (Took a little over 2 weeks from Euthanasia at our vet to getting him back) His box is beautiful. We will definitely use them again.
Terry Archer: They were very kind and respectful to me and took great care of Jebby Joe's memorial
Ashley Reiber: Just got my girl back today and I am so grateful for the care they took with making sure she was presented beautifully. I will forever miss her but knowing they took such great care of her remains helps put my heart at ease a little. So thank you.
Michelle Phipps: Today is the 1 yr anniversary of losing our sweet little Boston Terrier, Leo -- so we're thinking of him lots. I wanted to leave a note here about the very kind girl who helped me make the arrangements for his cremation. It was such a sad few days & she was incredibly nice.I was kept informed when Leo was transported from the vet into their care, and all through the process with kind messages.A time like this is heartbreaking for all pet parents; she helped make it a little more bearable. Thank you.
Paige Bonvillian: We had to put our fur baby down in May, and decided to have her cremated. Everything would have turned out beautifully, except the employees can't spell "Cracker" or bother to double check paperwork to make sure they are engraving the correct name. Not like you can redo a paw print with the correct name after your pet has been cremated. If you're a company who engraves names, you should be better at literacy.
John: We just had to say goodbye to our little friend last week. I had called P&R to find out when his cremains would be scattered in their garden and I was told that had stopped. Morgan didn’t know when or where that would be. Please consider any other way care for your pet instead of this place. I was also told that wherever this would be would not be public.
Debra Louis: I am so upset and so disappointed. I asked several times for extra fur from my beautiful Mocha. I even sent a bag for the extra fur. My husband just picked him up and they only gave me a tiny bit of fur. There is absolutely nothing I can do about it now. This made a terrible time in my life even worse. I am just beyond heartbroken
puuuuurrrfectkitten: I have good and little disapointing experiance. Will say loved fur and greif support info you give. But i hope they see this so can consider making sure this critical information is told before getting the foot print.. Like they did good job.But they don't inform vets that they switched types clay must of been over yr ago they switched.they use self setting vrs baked it any m ore. So it will stay kinda soft forever. I got paw print to feel my furbaby paw again. Now can't that hurts don't give me wrong it is beauitful though. Also I wish paws and remember gave the vets paper work for client fill out even though it is hard to do so in time of emotion paper work.Alot family's each person has their dog. But often just 1 vet account. So if paws and remember had you fill out paper work. Could make sure get the main owner of that dog on cremation certfiict. We're they can put main person or even put 3 names down.Because now I know. We plan let are vet know to put note in that my name will be listed when my dog passed. If grandparents aka my parents names also if they want. So the certification is more personal.
Angela Schneider: This people at this place are amazing. Treated my pet with dignity and I was very pleased with the memory of him they were able to provide me with. So many options I ended up with exactly how I wanted him to come back home with me.
Lindsey Heath: They were so supportive and kind to us during this heartbreaking time. I absolutely love the beautiful wooden photo urn we have our Layla girl in, plus her clay pawprint and locks of her fur they gave us are so special to our family. We cannot thank them enough.
MILES APPLIANCE: Ft Wayne Indiana location. Sadly we have had to use them several times over the years. Each time they have gone above and beyond to ensure my furry family member was respected and cared for. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you .
Stacey Hall: Benson lived for over 18 years. He was a great cat. Paws & Remember did more than a great job. I posted them on Facebook and cannot express the outstanding job they did. I truly believe they care. My pain is lessened by the care they gave Benson.
Jackie Morgan: It's been a week since I lost my precious baby girl, Tooter (a 12.5 yr old boston terrier). I have never been so devastated by the loss of a pet because she was my daughter. When I received her ashes today it was so comforting and when I saw the locks of her hair that P&R saved for me, I was so grateful. I can't say enough about the caring gentle way Paws & Remember (Fort Wayne) treated me. They are a very special business. Thank you P&R.
Breanne Baughman: Paws and Remember in Fort Wayne was beyond amazing! The family ferret died after a long struggle between good health and not so good health. We decided to have him cremated and wanted to make sure that it was a private cremation (no other animals mixed in) and all his favorite things were cremated with him. Paws and Remember was more than happy to make that happen. We were told by the vet that his urn would have his name and dog paw prints on it which really didn’t matter to me. When we got him back after a quicker time than what we were quoted, there were paw prints on the top but they were ferret paw prints and his name. We also received a little book that we can fill out that is all about him and the last page had a clipping of his fur in a baggie. Along with his certificate of passing/cremation certificate, we also received a picture frame. I cried from sadness of one of our family members being gone but also because they took the time to make his passing special. I am beyond satisfied and one day when the other three family members pass, I will definitely be calling Paws and Remember. Paws and Remember, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making Mater’s passing so special!!
Rachael Fondren: We went to the paws and remember in fort wayne... My inital call was the first time i had ever had to call a place about cremation .. I was told the second i said that my (pet) Bandit had just passed away. She immediatly said i am so sorry for your loss. Then was told what i needed to do and that the payment will have to be paid upfront ( just incase anyone were to have a question about that.) 1 week later we had his ashes back and in a beautiful urn that my son had picked for him. They treated us wonderful. I would definitely recommend them.
Tammie Thompson: This review could go on for hours but let me shorten it up too pure satisfaction, you guys went above and beyond to give our family the up mist respect and sympathy of the passing of our 4 legged son Deano Farris, you made us very comfortable with our decisions on the arrangements for his final memories. You touched our hearts and souls. Thank you so much. Our baby boy left us with tears in our eyes but you all gave us warmth in our hearts. The Farris'
Dee L.: I wanted to find a really good place To take my beloved 18 year old kitty cat for the service That Paws & Remember Provides. A friend recommended this company to me. I was very pleased with the politeness and very timely service I received. Everything exceeded my expectations and I was very happy they even saved some of my pets beautiful white fur, bagged it and attached it to a booklet they provided.
Terry Sexton: They are kind and caring.
Desirae Hagerman: Although I wish we didn't have to use their services at all, when we lost our Great Dane our entire family was truly heartbroken.. when we got her back she was in a beautiful personalized box, we had a heartfelt letter, along with other things we will treasure forever. Services were done in Ft. Wayne In. I can't thank you enough for your care and compassion.
River Rhodes: I had my beloved hamster cremated here. From the first phone call, I was impressed by the compassionate and professional care. Everyone expressed sincere condolences and respected his legacy even though he was "just a hamster". Overall, I was extremely pleased and would definitely recommend.
Kimberly Leyman: I didn't know what to expect when I got the call from our vet saying that our beloved dog's ashes were ready to be picked up. I broke down crying when I pulled out the beautiful velvet bag. They also provided other momentos and letters to go along with it. It makes me feel better knowing he was cared for even after we had to say good bye to him....

My Best Friend Pet Mortuary: what do users think?
Sara Hurst: They won’t tell you the fees when you call for information. When I called to officially set up arrangements, the price went from $120 to $220. I would not recommend them for anyone. They have zero compassion. I quickly turned to Paws & Remember.
Robert Mossburg: When my pet passed on Christmas eve they were available to assist me. They asked me what time I could arrive and they met me and arrived early. The staff member took my name and my pets then they gave me the papers. They removed my pet from my car and I didn't leave the vehicle because of covid precautions. I was able to pick up my pets remains 28 days later at the funeral home.

Midwest Funeral Home and Cremation Society: what do users think?
Jayde Sipe: I cannot recommend this funeral home enough. Brayden was absolutely phenomenal. We had an extremely sudden death occur. It was very difficult & we had very limited time. Brayden sat with us until we had all of our answers, all plans made, & everyone was satisfied. He went absolutely above and beyond for our family & we will forever be so thankful.
Susan Carver: Everything was perfect 🤩
Angela Urbina: I am so thankful to everyone here. My fur baby passed away suddenly on a Saturday evening and John met us at the funeral home after hours so i could have my baby cremated. I was a mess. John was able to have my baby cremated immediately and I picked him up on Monday. I can't thank everyone enough for their understanding and honoring my beloved pet and getting him back home so very quickly. You guys are truly amazing people and I cannot thank you enough. ❤️
Angela Kane: Very nice people
Marita Link: John is wonderful, and made pre-planning so painless.
Brittany Brown: The most unprofessional, unorganized, unreliable funeral and cremation service I’ve ever came in contact with. They will leave you hanging with no questions answered, ignore your phone calls, and more importantly leave your deceased loved one rotting away without doing anything about it!!!
Thelma Garza: Most people do not know this but when an African American Family get together for a funeral, there is going to be lots of anger and high emotions since alcohol is involved. Other funeral homes don’t seem to tolerate that kind of behavior but the people Midwest Funeral Home and Cremation Society are very open minded to such cultural nuances.
Hector Young: The services provided were excellent. Everything was done with the utmost professionalism and respect. The kindness shown by everyone at Midwest Funeral Home and Cremation Society was much appreciated at this time by both myself and our family as well as people I work with.
Veronica West: Wanting to give our wonderful mother the beautiful send-off she deserved was going to be difficult for us based on our financial situation. Though it may read as insensitive to discuss money at a time like this, Midwest saved us so much over comparable funeral homes without compromising quality.
Kara Bryant: It’s hard to think of a more inopportune time to have to deal with making arrangements than when somebody dear to you passes away. Midwest’s staff did all they could, in my opinion, to lessen the pain.
Sandra Robinson: It takes a special kind of person to assist a family at this, one of the worst times of their life. I could not let this gut-wrenching experience in my life pass without saying that every single Midwest staff member I interacted with was head and shoulders above the standard I would expect as far as care and compassion are concerned.
Candace Peters: The ceremony that was so beautifully crafted by Midwest allowed us to take the first baby step forward in the healing process. When we look back to the day of the service, we will be able to find a small piece of joy in the sorrow of the end of our dear loved one’s life.
Pat Ellis: My brother was adamant about his desire to be cremated. His death was not unexpected. So we did not have to deal with the shock of it. One can never be fully prepared though for the loss. At least his wishes were clear though and Midwest carried out the direct cremation without a hitch and extremely affordably. We were able to choose a beautiful urn and we will most likely continue to look at that fondly many times a day forever.
Deborah Cox: Putting our 15-year old collie, Reese down was one of the hardest things my spouse and I have ever done. He was our only “child”. Midwest and My Best Friend Pet Mortuary handled our beloved Reese’s burial with as much respect and dignity as any human deserves.
Delilah Hopkins: We recently chose this funeral home to take care of my grandmother’s passing. They not only were familiar with our family’s cemetery but also took extraordinary care of all the arrangements and put our families wishes and concerns ahead of theirs. We appreciate your service towards us.
Leonard Osborn: After the death of my wife, I needed help to go through the difficult decisions that needed to be made. Everything from help with placing photos, flowers and mementos actually added to the personalization of the visitation. They were with us during every step from the initial meeting through the cemetery service.
Brianna Dahlquist: Absolutely wonderful people. God bless you all.
steven warnock: Was very helpful and had a great service when my wife passed
exstrem gamer: BAD PLACE HORRIBLE PEOPLE
Harry Lane: If I could give them a negative rating I definitely would. This is not a place you would want to bring your enemies to let alone your loved ones. They are rude and have no respect for your loved ones. I have never dealt with a loss this close befor and for it to be my wife who I envisioned growning old with, was even more traumatic. I didnt know what to do or say or if I even had to do or say anything. But being professionals that when they should of informed me on certain things. Now I will never see my wife's wedding ring again because they cremated her with it on and then had enough nerves to make it out to be my fault when they should have just tried to make me feel better. This is not a place anyone should ever use for there loved ones.
shirlee reeves: In the beginning, after the death of my husband, they were very caring and compassionate. John offered to deliver the death certificates to my house in on a Sunday even because he wanted us to have the best service from them. Then it was like they disappeared! I had to keep asking about his obituary and sometimes they never even responded. I called, left messages, emailed, messaged through Facebook...nothing! Finally when I firmly asked what the hold up was, I was sent an email with a link to his obituary that was just done that day which was over a month after my husband died! No explanation with the link, no apology or anything. I sent the information to our local paper myself since they didn't do it which was part of their plan. Not very professional in my opinion.

Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Highland Park: what do users think?
Donna Cobbins: My brother passes away on October 17, 2022. When we spoke to the funeral director this was Prior to me leaving for a trip to Greece for 10 days. I wanted to make sure my sister in love had everything she wanted. That his remains would be returned to us in his urn we had purchased. With a small bag of his ashes for cremation jewelry in a separate bag. At that time I was made to purchase a travel box for his remains and his obituary program and signature book for the memorial service that would take place at a later date This company refuse to make contact they have money for thing that have paid for out of pock myself again. The death certificate is I corrected the information about how long he battles GBM is incorrect and his resection has been given to 4 hospital fort study this information need to be corrected. So I reach out to the funeral director who sold me several burials to se if he could assist. He tried but unfortunately this person does not respect the people he service. So I will be seeking a return on the obituary and signature book. Since he refuse his to communicate with me. I will not use this place for service nor advice any of my friends to use them. I work for a Fortune 500 company I will be sharing my experience with. So sad they haven’t made it right and His celebration of Life is 4/8/23. Oh and one others thing they did not grind his bones well so we could feel the small jewelry. In your time of need you need the funeral director to support your needs not lining his pockets. I am so disappointed in this part of the service this company was to provide my famil.
Redbone Brooks: Very professional business who went beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend too anyone.
Kat B.: Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Highland Park had the best quoted price around and ended up costing less than initial quote. They did a wonderful job. Got everything we needed with them.
Toni McDonald: Staff was very helpful friendly.. Very respectful in our timeline sorrow
Jane Berner: Highland Park Cemetery staff was extremely helpful with making arrangements for mom’s funeral. The day was perfect. It was exactly what our family wanted for mom.
Eric Opliger: When you can only afford to get the most basic service, (Cremation) is it not assumed that you have limited funds? Even after you make it clear why you are getting the service... My Father passed away last year, and I used Advantage. After the arrangements were set up, they took me into a small conference room. Here, I sat for about an hour almost in tears from the pain as they showcased their entire collection of "more things I can spend money on" that I clearly didn't have. After the 45 min presentation was over, they asked about MY funeral and if I had thought about making arrangements.... not a good time guys maybe ask later... Here we are a year later, it took me a long time to be able to do it, but I took my father's ashes in with and affordable urn I found on Amazon for half the price of what they had in their "showcase". Was also told the "fee" would be waved and every person I dealt with brought it up. After getting there around 3:00 pm on a Friday, I was told I could not be helped right now since no Director is on site. Cool - understandable. Asked if I could leave the ashes there and come get them when they are done....Nope! Was told to come back next week when a Director would be present. K so I came back the following Tuesday.....same deal no Director and sent home. So, I called the other location, and it was supposedly worked out that I would drop the ashes off at the location on Wallen that day and the ashes would be transferred the following day. Even got a call from a Director as I was dropping the ashes off assuring me it would get done. Came back 2 days later as discussed with the Director (did not hear from them during this time just assumed it was done being that 2 days had passed, and they had already dropped the ball on this). ......Wasn't done. OK OK soooo then I was told I would be expecting a call the next day confirming its completion. FINALLY GOT THEM BACK! Only took a week and a half.
marshamcc01: Very caring, professional, helpful, went through every detail. My father's funeral was the most beautiful I have ever seen. Thank you to all. I highly recommend them.
Dawn Staton: The staffs genuine kindness and compassion helped the entire process to be done with ease. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who is considering them for services.
Deco Services: Jon made sure any/all requests were addressed. Wasn’t sure what to expect; however, Jon and his team graciously helped us navigate through everything when we were at a very low point. We were very impressed with the level of professionalism and not once did we feel pressured. Thank you Jon and please pass along our sentiments to the rest of the team.
Michael Hicks: From the initial phone call, thru to the feedback call, all of our expectations were met. Professional and caring staff. I truly felt they just wanted to help and take the burden of planning on them so I could just grieve.
Randy Chappell: Make sure they know your part of your loved ones of the deceased. If you a brother, don't count on being recognized. Yes, they don't half to let me take part in anything. But they should atleast recognize the entire family.
Glenn Bogan: Very caring compassionate people. They took very good care of my family and I.
Gayla Del Priore: Very caring and gentle staff during a difficult time. The cost for cremation was affordable and everything was explained very well. When I had questions they were addressed right away and my husband’s ashes were returned to me in a timely fashion. The staff is also available if you need ashes removed for memorial purposes at a later date or if there is anything else they can help you with. Just an overall wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Advantage.
Dean Arney: Very compassionate people. Leah, did an outstanding job helping my mom and I. Price didn't matter, personal service is exceptional.
Jackie Wolfe: Thank you from the Werling family, for all you did for us in our difficult time! We were very pleased with all you had to offer, with the exception of, being able to have longer evening hours for visitation, lot of our friends and family work and did not get to pay their respect for our mother! Over all I will highly recommend your services! Once again thank you Advantage for all the support you gave to my family and I in our time of sorrow!
Maggie Watson: Larry and I had completed our funeral arrangements early, so the burden wouldn't fall on our children to complete. We picked Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services because of what we had heard from friends who had also used them. The services they provided were excellent, starting with David Misner, Bill, and then finishing with Leah Fulton. Everything that was requested from Leah, was completed with taste and dignity for Larry. I will be recommending Advantage to others.
Terry Bailey: Very Professional and friendly people! They made the entire process very easy, which is so needed in the times that we are forced to deal with a loss. Thank you Bill and Leah!
Sue Mcbride: Advantage funeral was most accommodating through this whole process of dealing with the loss of my husband.i definitely would rate them a 5 star.Thank You
Don Jordan: Dave Misner did an excellent job and explained all the options with no pressure to use any option available.
Patricia Dobbins: Everyone was so personable and helpful. They walked me through everything I needed as I dealt with my brother-in-law's burial arrangements. This is my second time with them. 2 years ago I hate use them for my brother's funeral. I've been very please with their service. And their rates are very reasonable. I do recommend them to others.
susan carpenter: Leah helped us in one of our most difficult times of our lives. Putting our only daughter at age 36 to rest was horrible. But Leah handled my husband & myself along with my daughter’s 3 year old with respect. She was so compassionate & caring. She almost felt like family. David also helped out tremendously. He gave me unmeasurable advice on how to help our 11 year old granddaughter through this tough time. All of our family truly appreciate Leah & David. We felt blessed.

Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Mungovan: what do users think?
P K: Very rude staff, rushing mourners. One staff member pounded in and stood in the middle of the room and said we were being too loud, that he was trying to conduct business, then left. Immediately after the service was over, the same staff member walked to the front of the room and propped opened the exterior door (in mid January- temp was under 20°) and then told everyone it was time to leave. So incredibly rude. I do not recommend this place.
Beth Perona: They were very helpful and kind I'd recommend them to anyone.
Mona W: On behalf of our entire family, we want to thank you for your guidance and making this process go as smoothly as possible and for taking such tender care of our family during this very difficult time at the sudden loss of our mother.Jon and his team showed respect, kindness and professionalism from beginning to end. He was very knowledgeable, attentive and answered all of our many, many questions/concerns.Thank you Jon and the entire Advantage Team for going above and beyond!
Patrick Spitler: Having just dealt with Randy and his staff in April I knew what to expect. Randy and his staff did not let us down, we were helped with the utmost respect and care as was our Mother. Having not had to personally deal with this type of service in the past and then having to twice in 2 months, I could not have asked for better people to deal with and entrust my parents to. Thank you Randy and staff.
Red Howell: John, Betty, and Bernadette all came together to make sure that my mom's service was not only dignified but also a breeze to approach from a planning standpoint. The entire process from beginning to end was beyond incredible and all family and friends were overly impressed by the professionalism and seamlessness of the ceremony. Thank you all for the wonderful work and dedication. Your passion for excellence was greatly noticed.
Baby Doll: I just wanna say thank you so very much for how caring, and professional you all are!! My sons memorial was amazing!! Jon was so great, and treated me with such care!! Jacob and Kelly were also amazing!! They are so polite, and helpful!! They care about all your needs, and do everything to make your loved ones day very special!! I would definitely recommend them!! Thank you again for everything you have done for myself and my son!!!
Triniti Mccain: My father just recently passed February 21st and I called so much and I got nothing but good service every call from Kelly . This place took care of my friend in a respectful way both for me AND for his family who were unable to make it up here from Florida! I was truly impressed with EVERYTHING they did for me from the first call to the last. That I have already called them back to inquire about further arrangements for my boyfriend and myself! Now that's 5 STAR SERVICE TO ME!!
Martha Flores: Excellent service and John was the best !!! Thank u for everything!!!

C Smith: Great experience working with Stephanie getting my pre-planned cremation finalized.
Alisha Braden: I am so blessed to have Bill help me through my horrible process of saying goodbye to my husband due to a tragedy. He really made me feel like he cared about the children and I many times he asked how we all were doing, more than ones close to me should ask. He was fast and really listened more to my needs or gave me advice because I honestly had no idea what to do or even think. I am very proud of my husbands funeral and how he allowed me so much me time for my grief. They definitely reached out and Kelley helped me with his picture as our first choice was too hard to see. Bless this staff! Thank you Bill wish I could repay you back.
Joedonna Dominguez: During the most difficult time in one's life I had the pleasure to speak with Leah M Fulton. To make arrangements for a brother who recently passed away.. Leah made my experience dealing with this super easy and very comfortable doing so!! It was an amazing experience dealing with her!!! Thanks so much.
Cindy Sztuk: At the worst time in my family's life we met with Leah. She was so kind, so compassionate, so patient with us. There are not enough words to begin to let her know how much we appreciated every step she took us through. She made this somehow just a little easier.
Donna Cobbins: Phil was very helpful and knowledgeable. He has currently written a pre pay plain for my daughter and I hope my son and I may do my brother’s service
Tammie Thompson: Leah, Richard and the others, were so polite and explained everything to us. Everything was wonderful from sitting down to discuss the funeral arrangements, to the last minute of the services. I am very happy with my sons last view. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Kristi J Thornsberry: There is good reason why Mungovan is called Mungovan Simple. In the unexpected and chaotic event of my father's death, Brian Vaughan and his associates went above and beyond with their service to make sure the process was as simplified and calm as possible. During a time I had many worries and obligations I could at least take a breath of relief when it came to the care of my father.
Jennifer Becker: Brian was very helpful with everything I had to take care of and what steps to take next. Thank you so much for being there and helping me when no family members were... I truly don't have words to express my gratitude enough. Thank you so very much

FairHaven Funeral Home & Cremation Services: what do users think?
Joe Baker: Very nice employees and facilities
Crystal Couture: Jarod was so helpful. He was kind, sincere, compassionate and patient. He made this very hard experience a little easier. I appreciate everything he did during the process. He communicated everything very well and walked us through the whole process from start to finish. I am very thankful for him.
Ketria Humbert: Amazing people who really do care!
Deidre Britton: Very caring. Reasonably priced. Treated my Mother with dignity. I absolutely would recommend FairHaven.
Susan Longbottom: Excellent care. Britton was very caring and professional. His staff is top notch and truly care about their clients. Their facility is beautiful and clean
Maria Galan-Lopez: The FairHaven Team is amazing. My loved one passed away unexpectedly and they were so helpful in walking me through the process. They took care of everything from A-Z and were even great support for me during a difficult time. I have already suggested their services to everyone I know, they are the best.
Barb Graber: Fairhaven funeral home could not have been more kind and helpful during this time. They took care of even the smallest details. I am very thankful for them.
Bobbi Wolfe: I want everyone to know how very compassionate and caring that the staff (owners) of this Funeral home are to people. My mom passed in the middle of Sept. They could see how upset we were and confused of what to do. I was greeted at the door with a hug from a stranger!(Mark), what a beautiful thing to do when you are hurting inside. So without any issues they took us under their wing and walked us through it all and did some things to help our family out to take off some of the workload this all entailed. They were honest and up front about everything all the way down to the money and even that was all itemized out. Money was clearly the last thing they even were concerned about in fact we had to mention the money part. Never dealt with any business that was more concerned on your well being than money. They are truly great hearted people that have a huge compassion for what they do and for how others feel. GOD bless each and everyone of them. They certainly made this much easier on our family. A special Thanks to Lucas.
June Birthday: I am sharing this review on behalf of my sister who's son passed away a couple of years ago. She didn't feel she was valued and offered the best services during her time of bereavement. Nor was she pleased w/the preparation of her son's body/funeral. Getting his body from another state was also a challenge...they told her they were waiting on paperwork when in actuality it was them who needed to send paperwork to get the process done. Plan ahead ppl which will not allow some to take advantage of you during one of the worse times of your life.
Jane Shown: Exceptionally kind and compassionate staff through all aspects of planning and completion of burial. Great to work with. Highly recommended.
Rob Jackson: From the initial consult to the gravesite service, the entire FairHaven staff did an amazing job in communicating, making all arrangements come together exactly as we planned. Beautiful service. Our loved one would have been pleased. Highly recommend.
Donna Neff: Our whole family was set at ease, we were treated like family. From the experience at the church to the grave site family came first, our comfort, our desires to be met Greatly appreciated.
Mark Baker: The staff at Fairhaven made us feel very comfortable during this difficult time....we are grateful to have such a fantastic staff to work with us!
Dave Janeway: Couldn't have been better during this trying time. Britt handled everything very efficiently and professionally.
Alexis Nungester: Our experience with Fairhaven when laying our daughter to rest was great. Everybody was super kind and we got her ashes back fairly quickly and we are so greatful💓.
Barbara Richards: They were very helpful at a critical time.
Jenn Thomas: My mom and I used Fairhaven when my father passed away in 2018. Sadly, my mom passed away in August 2022 and I again chose Fairhaven for her funeral services. The dedication, professionalism and warmth that the Fairhaven employees continue to consistently display will never be matched by any other funeral home in Fort Wayne or any of the surrounding areas. Again, job well done. I refuse to recommend any other funeral home in town.
Lisa Cramer: I am so impressed with Fairhaven. We had to lay my brother to rest and Jared was a blessing when it came to compassion and knowledge. Mark led our service and was the most amazingly compassionate & caring man. It was as if he was part of our family. I highly recommend Fairhaven when there is a time that you would need them.
David Wade: My brother recently passed away unexpectedly. Elaine was extremely helpful and professional as she expertly guided us through a very difficult process. She made all the arrangements we asked her to make with a reassuring and calm demeanor.
Cheryl Janeway: My mother-in-law recently passed away. She has no will or many finances. We went to Fairhaven. Britton was wonderful. Very happy with the plan we had with FairHaven. I plan to make future arrangements for my husband and I with them. Thank you.
Kelly Dowdell: I attended an extremely tough funeral and burial for a teenage girl at FairHaven this past weekend. I cannot express enough how amazing Mark Scheidt was. He was extremely attentive to the family's needs, sympathetic, helpful, patient, understanding, and so many other things. He went well past above and beyond to make sure this girl was honored. At such an emotional event, Mark's words were supportive and comforting. You can see that he genuinely cares about the families and what he does. The family were really struggling with saying goodbye to their daughter. Mark talked to them, and then to the rest of the friends and family on what we needed to do right then to help them get through this. He let us know what steps were about to be taken and the best way to help them proceed. During the burial while family was taking turns shoveling dirt into the grave, Mark even asked if he could have a turn to honor Alysa. You would have thought he was a part of the family by his words and actions. Thank you so much Mark. You brought comfort and ease to the worst situation imaginable, and we will never forget that.
