Benjamin Byerline: Took a iPhone 11 for a new battery and screen. Was told $204. Would be finished in 40 minutes, 4 hours later not done and phone continued to shut on and off. Took phone to a+ computers for a 2nd opinion. This guy destroyed the complete inside.Now I have to sue to have this guy replace the phone he damaged.

A. M.: Best place for phone repairs in Fort Wayne hands down!!! Had an iPhone 11 screen replaced at the end of May by another place in Fort Wayne. It never fully sat right at the bottom and broke in multiple places from a very minor drop while in a protective case 3 months later. Went in to the original business to see about getting it replaced again. Was quoted $170 and at LEAST 24 hours for repair. That just wasn’t acceptable. Found Cell Phone City from a Google search and walked in on a Friday afternoon a little after 1pm. Had a fully repaired phone by 3pm at a better price. This screen feels much more durable than the last one and is properly seated. The customer service was phenomenal and, while I pray we don’t have any more broken screens, if we do, we will definitely be going back to Cell Phone City!!!

If you are in need of having your cell phone repaired, I cannot recommend Cell Phone City enough!
Dana & Kim Plattner: We had a screen on the blink on an iPhoneXS and went to this place because of the high google review. When I found out it was cash only my concerns went up. We got the new screen for about $170 which seemed high but, hey, we needed it fixed. Shortly after getting it home, the screen starting blacking out at random times. We took it back and were met with resistance and disrespect. We were told this was a different problem and he wasn’t responsible for it. He tried manipulating us and frankly made my wife feel awful. I’m not sure how many of the 5 star ratings are real, but I would never recommend this place. I’m sure the owner is going to reply to this message and say please bring it back in and they will make it right, but don’t believe him. It’s in all the bad reviews.Update 1/7/2022 - the new screen eventually became completely useless and we took it to another competitor called CPR Cell Phone Repair and they replaced the screen again (for about the exact same price) and discovered that the replacement screen was an inferior product. Not only does Cell Phone City have terrible customer service, but they also use inferior products. Don’t let the 4.7 stars fool you! Take your cell phone somewhere else!

Manzaneda Manzaneda: Not sure why a few people left them a one star review. Wayne PC Tech is an amazing company, all the people there are very nice and knowledgeable. I called a lot of places around to fix my Galaxy S20 Ultra, every place wanted over $450, one even said $675 to repaired the screen and they all said would take about 2-3 weeks. I called Wayne PC Tech and they gave me a way better price and only took them 5 days to get the screen and repaired my Galaxy. You should only go to Wayne PC Tech, will give you a way better deal and great customer service.**** When I was walking in, they were finishing with another customer and she told the tech that other places were charging a lot more to fix her iPhone 11 screen, she seem very satisfied with them so that gave me a peace of mind as well.I will come back to talk to you guys about doing some IT work for my business.Thank you!

mike bieberich: Very lazy, not good at communicating with customers. Drove an hour to drop off a phone to have repaired. Were told Thursday or Friday if parts came in it would be completed. Had to call them for an update Friday afternoon, was told it may be done that day and would call to let us know. Called back Saturday when they opened at noon and was told it was finished Friday night and available to pick up. Had they called Friday we would have drove right down by noon Saturday and made arrangements. As I said, we're an hour away. Anyways I told the millennial kid that my son would be right down

sam cone: I needed a battery for my iPhone so they put a new one in for me ok now I get an error message that says this battery is not an apple battery this will stay on your phone till u get an apple battery they led me to believe they were apple certified THEY ARE NOT APPLE CERTIFIED and it can harm your phone I ask them to put my original battery back in and they refused..I called Best Buy and since it’s a 3rd party battery apple will not work on my phone so looks like I’m stuck or get a lawyer there’s a thought

I would not recommend bringing your devices here. There communication is terrible an there repairs take needlessly long

I went there to check it myself and the phone was still broken :( . They should have called me and let me know at least , so I don't have to waste my time waiting.

Ryan Farver: I bought the Samsung z flip 4 about a month ago. My screen went out and had to have it replaced. I was told to go to UBreakIFix on Coldwater road. I arrived there on Saturday around 3pm. I was told that the repair should be done by Sunday at 2pm. No big deal. I arrive the next day at 2 and was told that the phone was almost ready and to come back in 10 to 15 mins. Not an issue either. I came back in after 20 minutes " which turned into 2 hours", then was told that the phone failed diagnostic testing and the phone needed to be calibrated. At this point I began becoming frustrated. The tech told me to come by on Monday and it'll be completed. I called this time on Monday before driving to ft wayne to see if it was ready. The tech told me they had to send the phone to other store on Jefferson to be calibrated because they didn't have a calibration machine or it needed parts or something. And that now my phone would take another day to repair and that I might be able to get it Wednesday at the latest. I arrived at the Jefferson location around 1pm Wednesday to see if it's ready, it wasn't. The tech at that location could not get it calibrated at all. He finally took the phone apart and realized that the other techs at the Coldwater location did not replace my 5G antenna after replacing the screen. Took them 3 days to figure it out and finally passing the diagnostictest. I will never go to the location on Coldwater again. The guys at the Jefferson location are legit and know what they're doing.
Tricia Dunbar: I had an appointment on Wednesday, February 22,2023 and Matthew G. was the person to assist me. I was having to use my Speaker to hear anyone when they had called me. I have an Iphone 11 and asked Matthew if anyone had problems hearing with this phone. He was honest and said that he had not heard of this problem with many phones so he suggested cleaning my phone/speaker. When he returned with my phone about 5 minutes later, he tested my phone and I could hear without using the speaker. I was so thankful and appreciated his honesty. I would recommend them to everyone.

Ni Sa: brought a device in for a screen replacement. 1 day after expected finish day I had to be the one to call and find out that my decive now needs a back glass replaced. I was then called to come and get the device only to be told that it needed another part replaced or it couldn't be returned to me. I authorized that repair too!! Only to be told the phone didn't pass a diagnostic test and now they can't do any of the repairs. The employees did not make any of these stipulations known before taking my device in.

andrew baker: I wouldn't go back there If I was on death door because I went there because they said they can fix my phone screen and my phone screen is popping out it came back with to lines so my phone's is still broke they say they can have it done in 30 minutes or less but it take them almost 2 hours just to do poor quality work I could do it better in my sleep I'd rather have a professional do it then these guys they get a 0 in my book they are the worst $175 for my phone screen and I asked for a tempered glass so my phone screen was protected for a t-mobile rvvle 4+ and the guy gave me an Iphone 7+ glass not impressed by that and poor judgement on there end because ask before you charge some one for something you don't have

Julie Barcus: My son went to the mall with his grandfather for his 13th Birthday he wanted a different phone than the one he had and my son bought a phone from the kiosk in the mall the next day I picked my son up from church and headed over to sprint to put it on our plan and my cell phone provider said they couldn't do it there was a code that kept coming up that would not let them put it on our plan my cell provider said it isnt going to work and probably won't for any carriers so I took my son back to the mall to get a refund and the person who was there which whom sold the phone to my minor child without a parental consent kept saying it does work its an unlocked phone I said I wanted hime to refund my son the 120.00 he got for something he cant even use he said no refunds it says it on my receipt which he didn't give my son a receipt nor offered him one then proceeded to demand me to take my sim card from my phone to put into it to show me it works which I said no because I just came from sprint/T mobile and watched them try with brand new sims then he demanded I call my cell phone provider to prove it so I did and they told him it doesn't work and wouldn't so then he gets off the phone and proceeds to tell me I shouldn't let my son shop and then says that I can't have a refund because my cell phone provider didn't tell him why exactly it doesn't work I ended up having security come and they told me I can sue them in small claims and I have the right to get the information I needed to do so and soon as I got a picture the kiosk guy proceeded to try and trade for different device but yet wouldn't give a refund. Worst place and extremely unprofessional.

kiara howard: The “owner” was very rude when address with an issue about a phone he had recently fixed. When he was denying the truth he didn’t to be very disrespectful and point his finger in my face and proceed to cuss at me.
Steven Stokes: There aren't enough terrible things I can say about this business. My son was charged $26 for a phone case that retails for about $3. The owner was rude and confrontational. He raised his voice several times and kept slapping the counter when we wouldn't give up in trying to get our money back. The people that work at this kiosk are borderline bullies who won't take no for an answer. If it were possible I'd give this business less than one star. Buyer beware and stay away from this place.

Jennifer Kurt: Ok , I stopped by to fix my iPhone 8 screen. He carged $105 for to fix it. But I notice my screen quality got worse. I looked at it under sunlight it was so blurry. I asked my friend who work apple store he told me that’s after market cheap screens. Don’t let this people to change your screen. It’s scam. I told my lawyer about it, he is working on it.

Matthew Musselman: You get what you pay for, lowest In town but it shows. Had them install new screen. Very low end screen, the color was very weird and had them put on a glass screen protector. The glass had a huge bubble in it and he couldn’t understand that it was installed incorrectly. Bought a Otterbox also that was fake and the plastic broke in half the first time I took it off. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star but I have to.
