Parkview Physicians Group: what do users think?
Michael: Rude, condescending, all around a terrible experience.
JennieLee: I love my family doctor, she is very kind, attentive to her patients needs, she takes her time and listens to you and remembers you. and ALL staff from reception to nurses that I have ever came into contact with since going to Dr. Michelle Collins-Austin is always very friendly and helpful.
x: What good do even the best doctors do when you can't ever get a hold of them? What would you rateyour experience if you post medical questions on MyChart and don't get responses at all for days? What good does it do, when you repeatedly try calling Parkview, besides the fact of being transferred around ten times, wasting hours over hours of your life and the messages you leave never get passed on and they act as if you never attempted to contact them? Seriously, it's worse trying to contact anyone who has anything to say or do at this facility than the Pope himself! No, in that aspect I don't need to mention that I have a PCP because I don't believe I do. Unfortunately the smiles during the visit don't make up for the lack of help, treatment and urgency when you truly need it. If you need a PCP, you might need to look for a single office practice who still values its patients. And let's not forget, you're doomed if you come in 2 min late but that you end up waiting every time two hours in the waiting room, nobody will even apologize for.
Mark Pope: Dr Swartz is the very best and the staff is friendly.
K Palm: I haven't even been there yet because I was told the wrong location while trying to schedule an appointment. So I get up on my day off before 9 am to go for a simple pee test, 15-20 minutes in the opposite direction, just for the location off Liberty Mills Rd to tell me my appt is at Illinois Rd. Maybe the receptionist was new, but that's a huge problem sending people to the wrong location. I called their location to let them know I'll miss my appt, and need to reschedule, and not once did she apologize on behalf of their team, or anything. So, after my rescheduled appt, maybe my opinion will improve, but honestly, this was a sour start to someone new in town who is looking for a family physician and is still figuring the way around town.
Saranoh: Friendly , but don’t feel as though the doctor took me very seriously . Wrote off two very serious illnesses as a uti even though I told her with tears in my eyes that it was more than a uti. Went to urgent care clinic two days later to discover I needed immediate medical attention. Will never be back.
tsu: These nurses in this office are the worst nurse I've ever seen. They only believe what they think is true. This morning I went their office for vaccination. Because they told me the vaccination can be walk in can doesn't need to make an appointment. I went there directly and I have to wait almost one hour to get them out and see me. These are my second dose of MMR and varicella. Last time I took the vaccine is on 05/22. It has been 30 days since my last visit. But they said they can't give me the vaccine because their guideline is 31 days apart. And today is 30 days apart. They asked me to come next Monday, But I told them I will go abroad, I have to finish it within this weekend. So they ask me to go to the "liberty Mills" office tomorrow. I want to make sure I can get the vaccine before I go abroad. So I drive to "liberty Mills" office. The front desk said they won't provide vaccine for walk in patient. They are quite surprise these nurses don't know it and ask me to go their office. The person in the "liberty Mills" office recommend me to get the super shot. So I drive another 30 minutes to the office on New vision Drive. And the front desk people told me super shot people will only be there on Saturday morning. I called super shot, no one answered the call. They called me back one hour later and told me they don't have MMR. They ask me to go to CVS or Walgreen to get MMR. Finally I went CVS minute clinic and they give the MMR, yes they only have MMR. Both the super shot people and the CVS minute clinic people told me 4 weeks apart for both vaccine "MMR" and "varicella" are fine.you can imagine how busy I am today, I traveled from here to there. At night, from the documents the manger in this office gave to me, I found out even US department of Health and Human Services Centers for disease control and Prevention (CDC) said 28 days apart for both "MMR" and "varicella"I totally don't understand why the nurses and the manger in this office said it should be 31 days apart!
