Tanglewood Berry Farm: what do users think?
Kelly McArdle Miller: This is the second year we’ve picked berries here. Take your own container or you can buy one there. You can also just go and purchase berries already picked. Check their website or FB page for picking hours and which berries are in season as both vary. It was a fun summer thing to do with my daughter. Then she made blackberry cobbler! Yum!
Andy Christoffersen: Well kept. The gentleman explained everything well and took is to the right spot. We got some wonderful berries. It was easy find. No trouble parking.
Olivia Martin: Tanglewood Berry Farm is awesome! I love picking berries here. They have expanded quite a bit and now have garden vegetables, fresh cut flowers, and honey. The staff is friendly and the berries are delicious. This is a great hidden gem (in plain sight) in Southwest Fort Wayne.
Mendi Strickler: Took my step daughter to Tanglewood today for some PYO berries. She loved it! We picked red raspberries and blackberries. We will be back for the fall strawberries crop. Just wish I would’ve found this place sooner so that I could’ve gotten some black raspberries.
Kanda Handa: Lots of fun w the kids. Fun for the whole family.
Mary Everett: Great strawberries and blackberries
Lana Scherer: A fantastic place for farm fresh berries conveniently located in SW Fort Wayne. Pick your own seasonal berries or buy them at their market plus fresh baked locally made pies featuring the Tanglewood berries. The berries grow on special trellises that make it easy to reach, perfect for kids and adults.
Sherri Sacker: I picked blackberries Saturday and they were were just perfect.
Misty Becker: Tons of berries available to be picked by you! They also have pre-picked ones, and little homemade pies, too! Their blackberries are huge, plump, and easy to reach in nicely distanced rows. They're very affordable, and their staff are super friendly!
Justin Berghoff: Friendly and clean
Brian Latham: Not sure

Dustin Stewart: Great place for farm fresh produce!! Also many seasonal activities for the kids and family! Pumpkins look amazing, strawberries are the friggin best you can get! Wish it was bigger in size but truthfully the size probably allows the personalization of each trip. When you go there you feel like your part of the Hilger’s family. Thank you Hliger family farm for being there to supply the area with quality fresh farm produce and fun for the whole family year after year!

Cook's Orchard: what do users think?
James Cash: Great service, love their hot cider!
Cathy Ohlwine: Fun place to pick apples! Large variety and very good!
Thomas Gaskill: Our yearly trip for great apples and apple cider slushy!
Andrew Lambert: Best orchard in fort wayne
Barbara Deckard: It's apple cider time again! 2 gallons of the best apple cider and a couple bags of Jongold apples and a quart of honey will keep this household happy for a long time!
Joe Taylor: Running out of orchards around here.first time there will go back
Jonathan Reeves: They had a wide range of apples and apple products.
MICHELE WEGRECKI: Love the fresh honey, apples, pumpkins;)and the employees are always so knowledgeable
Josh Wymore: One of the few places in town to find fresh cider without preservatives. Cider is solid--sweet, but lacking some tartness. Friendly staff, good selection of goods.
Jessica Hempton: Great selection of baked goods, jams and jellies, syrups, etc. Nice orchard....went in the fall for pumpkins 🎃. Great prices and very pleasant staff. Would recommend to anyone.
Mark Kautzman: This place is awesome. Friendly people and very tasty products. Apple cider is the best I have ever tasted. My family loved their apple pie and their apple fritters were just amazing. We usually stop in to grab a couple bags of apples for my dad and he just can't get enough. Lots of great local and home made products.
Danielle Becraft: My kids had so much fun picking apples and then walking through the store to find some jelly and honey!
Laura Mccue: This has been our family tradition for years. Generation after generations - apple picking, the slushy apple cider and the famous honey sticks ❣️❣️
Levi Wood: Went today to get slushies and apples. Was told by the older guy working that the slushies are "just for kids" even tho they are $2.00 on the sign. He then said he would let us have them this time. Like what? We stood there in shock because this is not the service we expected. Definitely a disappointment that the slushies are apparently just for kids. They should go through the store and label each item for it's age group. That way it's easier for us to figure out what age we can purchase APPLE PRODUCTS. Gonna try a different orchard next time. Definitely not kid friendly. Just a creepy guy that's rude.
María Emilio Nuñez: Lovely little place with so much to offer. The quality and variety of products are both top notch. Definitely stop by if you're in the area with cash as you'll almost certainly see something you want.
May Brock: Really good apple picking & love their honey sticks.
Terry Isley: It's a great place to pick your own apples but they have bagged apples as well. They also have a small general store for apple related items, honey, pickles, etc. A gravel parking lot with overflow next door in a yard. No restrooms or handicap access that I could see. The workers are friendly and helpful. We enjoy going there every fall.
Matt Krueger: Best apple cider in existence, i won't even drink store bought cider anymore after trying the cider from cooks orchard a few years ago. Even though prices have risen in recent years, its still worth it. I look forward to this time of year when the apples are in season and they are fresh pressed, or if its warmer out the cider slushies are amazing as well. If you haven't tried it yet i highly recommend giving it a try.
Cassy Finley: A fun experience and a great variety of apples
Anissa Hakim: We went there late in the season, but the apples we managed to pick were delicious. I enjoyed their assortment of honey and apple goods as well.
Jessica Dziondziak: Very large apple orchard with a ton of different varieties. The quality is A+ and everything is reasonably priced.

St Joe Christmas Tree Farm: what do users think?
Kathleen Jutte: We took photos out here and the owners were so nice! Pretty scenery!
Dan Kerr: They spray paint the trees green....yeah you read that correctly..
Erin Martinez: Great place to get a fresh cut Christmas tree!
Jamie Kleinknight: So much fun. Had a great time at their annual craft show. Awesome people running it.
Jacob kruckeberg: Very cool place nest experience!!!! Great ppl willing to help everyone. We got a gorgeous pine we love it!!!! 🌲
Ryan Garner: Beautiful trees... #wishmoretagtrees Had last appointment available at dark, 6pm. Using a Flashlight while hunting down a tree! Ended up with precut Michigan Douglas fir
Grace Pulver: Beautiful tree farm with competitive prices and wide selection. Go early to get a frasier fur!
T Johnson: All the nice looking ones can't be cut; the precut ones that aren't a fortune are unbelievably small. Left without a tree and two disappointed kids. Won't be back.
Joel Hoffschneider: Great combination of crafts food and fresh air.Lots of Christmas trees and Christmas gifts...
Shawn McCarthy: We have visited this place 5 times in 5 different years and only bought a tree once, and it was a mediocre tree at best.If you aren't here the first weekend they open, the selection is usually poor. Often times you will see big nice trees inexplicably NOT marked for cutting that year, and small pathetic little glorified saplings being offered. The atmosphere is great and the people are nice, but when it comes to trees, they are very limited in their quality offerings.
Megan Eckelbarger: Our usual tree farm had limited activities in 2020 due to covid, so we decided to try a farm a little closer to home.Maybe it was a bad tree year, I’m not sure, but the choose and cut trees available were disappointing. We made an appointment the weekend after thanksgiving, walked all over, found lots of big, beautiful trees, but for some reason even the large ones weren’t tagged for cutting. The tagged ones just looked kinda sad. After coming up empty we asked about the back lot that was roped off, there were some pretty ones back there. The staff were very friendly and just let us know that we COULD choose and cut from there, (I think it was a section of some sort of spruce?) but they typically don’t recommend cutting them until December. We didn’t want to have to make a second appointment for later in the week, so since we only had a couple days to go til they would open that lot they said it was fine and gave us some instructions to keep the tree fresh outside first to help it last longer.Well... it didn’t. 😂We followed their directions to a T, but still that crazy tree was the messiest, most pitiful, (while sadly the most expensive) tree we’ve had in all our years of fresh trees. It was flooding our living room with needles after a week and a half. We left if til Christmas anyway, because we sure weren’t going to buy another tree, but it was nothing but branches and decorations by the end. 😂🤦‍♀️(I wish I would have made note of the specific type, because it was also the sharpest tree we’ve ever had and I’d like to avoid it in the future!)The tree farm experience was still ok... the kids loved the cocoa and candy canes, and like I said, the staff was sweet, but as long as all the good trees are off limits I wouldn’t recommend it if you like to choose and cut as part of your holiday traditions!
Ashley Auxier (lil ox): Disappointed. The only word I can use to describe our experience. We walked for over an hour and a half looking for a tree. We saw lots of beautiful, perfect trees that we would have loved to cut and take with us. The problem with that? They were not tagged, and you can only cut a tree that is tagged. The ones that were tagged were terrible! Dry and skimpy looking, and the price they wanted for those was shameful. We left and tried to find another tree farm but we were unsuccessful. Everyone was sold out. We had to go back and select a pre-cut tree (which takes all the fun out of it for our family seeing as my kids have grown up with this tradition) and paid well over $100.00 for a tree. I personally feel like they’re cutting all the good ones and jacking up the price and saving all the uncut gorgeous trees for that purpose as well. I will be doing better research and starting our tree search earlier next year.
Ed Leonard: Friendly service and good selection
Thomas Stezowski: Great experience, lots of trees to pick from
April Beber: First time experience with a real Christmas tree! Quick, easy, lots of variety, accessories available, and just a great feeling supporting a family owned business!
*: Always a great family time. Timeless tradition for us. Even with Covid, gray reminder that not everything has to change. Thanks for all you do.
Kelly Maahs: Great job with social distancing protocols. Glad we could continue our tradition of getting our tree here every year. And the kids loved the hot chocolate!
Sierra Woodward: They didn't have good trees at all they were small, bare and very skinny. The staff was completely disrespectful hateful and rude to the customers. I will never go back. Save your money and find somewhere else to take your family.
Mike Humphrey: Great place
Kurt Whited: A great place to start a family tradition.
Joe Momma: Try it once with your young family and it probably become a tradition like it did with mine.
