Blackstone Ranch: what do users think?
Emily Powell: As a boarder, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My horses were happy and extremely healthy there. The barn is very clean and the staff is wonderful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Blackstone for boarding and lessons.
Chris: Went to the Christmas event they had. $25 per kid was steep for one horse ride, photo op in blow up snow globe, and seeing Santa. However it is a really nice and clean facility and lessons seem reasonably priced.
James Clancy: Great little Gem of Fort Wayne!!
Skip Balkenbusch: All staff was very friendly. The band was mega good! Nice event.
Ryan Nelson: Great riding lessons!
Melissa A Patton: Beautiful experience and learned so much can't wait for her riding lessons
Melissa Patton: Super friendly staff and beautiful place
Matt Ayers: Nice and clean boarding stables. Everyone is nice and friendly...
Demi T: BSR is an immaculate facility, truly unlike any other stabling options in NE Indiana. From a boarders perspective, the staff is knowledgeable, keeps stalls clean, well bedded, and buckets and feeders clean. The turn outs are spacious and accommodating.Attending events at the ranch is always fun as well. Organized from both vendor and shopper/attendee perspective. Appropriate advertisement of events and Sydney really knows how to welcome guests and make them feel welcome!Lessons are fun and informative and seeing the growth in riders is amazing! I love that for children who don’t normally ride there are pony rides offered, and if they wish to have a deeper experience, it’s easy to become involved in the lesson program.I can’t sing enough praises of the staff, facility or events offered. The area truly needed a place where all could feel welcomed to enjoy events, clinics and other services.
investerfy: Very nice.
NT: This is a great facility. I'd send my child here if I could afford it.
Chloe Ousley: Horrible staff are very rude and disrespectful and they don’t take care of their horses.
Brianna Mason: Went there today for a tack swap they were holding. Such a lovely facility I wish I had it myself.
Debbie Houser Johnson: Great experience, wonderful staff, clean arenas and outdoor areas !!
A S: If you can afford it, it's the place to go. Great people, nice environment.
Ashly Collins: We've been to Blackstone a total of 3 times. Once for the soft opening in the fall of '21, once for pictures with Santa, and then this past weekend for pony rides. The facility is beautiful and having the ranch in this location is wonderful! The soft opening was a lot of fun to tour the grounds and watch a trainer as well as entertain the kids. Pictures with Santa was perfect as the cost allowed pony rides and for families to take pictures with their own cameras.Information online and in the brochure is misleading about the pony rides, though. I was under the impression there'd be more instruction about grooming and more guidance or education about the ponies before kids could ride. Instead, the children began the session by picking out which pony they wanted to ride, hopping on, then a worker walked them around a line of cones for 30 minutes in the small arena.Thankfully no one was after us when our half hour session was finished and I asked if they could brush or walk the ponies themselves. The employee in charge agreed to the request. All in all it was something for our children to do on a cold dreary Saturday, but the Pony Experience was underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who's looking for more than slowly riding in a small circle for 30 minutes.
Karen Broski: Great experience for my 6 year old! He loved it! Will definitely return.
Shelby Larimore: Kids loved it . Will be visiting again soon 😊
Moriah Throgmorton: MaKayla is the best instructor ever! I have ADHD and she breaks things down verbally in a way that is SO easy to understand and actually follow with my body. Not one time in my lesson did I feel I was confusing my horse. I've taken lessons at several facilities in an hour radius of where I live, and this is the only place I've felt so taken care of. I now take biweekly lessons and I so look forward to it!
Steven Kelly: My daughter had a horse riding lesson people were nice she had a blast
Katrina Priest: The kids always have such a wonderful time!!! Very kind and accommodating!
