Trek Bicycle Fort Wayne: what do users think?
Keith Weirich: New to the Fort Wayne area and grateful to have access to this customer centric cycling shop. My new bike purchasing experience was flawless. Thanks Trek team.
Joseph Geraghty: This place has a great selection and amazing customer service. Are sales guy was Cary and he went above and beyond. Was very helpful in what we were looking for. Even helped my wife get fitted for a great size bike. Will definitely return for service and accessories.
Dianna Applebeck: Excellent customer service! With exceptional service. Totally professional and knowledgeable folks. Great Team !
Christy Hinds: Very fast service, super helpful, had my items waiting on me to get there so I could limit contact. We have also purchased 3 bikes from them and will continue to support their business.Updating to add that after a sketchy encounter on the trails, I called to ask if someone could ride with me to help me feel safe. 0 hesitation and they had no idea I was a previous customer. Hands down best customer service to customers and non-customers.
Denny Geiger: Friendly, knowledgeable staff! Take your repairs to Trek!
Chris Schubert: Per my previous totally unsatisfactory post. Anonymous owner responds that the manager will be reaching out to me. That was two months ago. I’m still waiting to be contacted. I’m not really surprised with their lack of customer service . Can I get any more dissatisfied with this place ?
Jim Matthews: Nothing but good things to say about the service department at the Ft. Wayne Trek store. Greeted right away and I could tell immediately that this was a thoroughly professional service department. My well used Trek needed several component replacements and upgrades and we went through all my questions and requests one by one. No pressure was applied to upsell me, all purchases were options I chose or declined. The work was done in less that 24 hours and the bike is like new. All parts and frame were cleaned and the new parts installed. i was given the old parts, I only kept the chain and all services were explained in detail and expertly done. I will come here again.
Dakota bailey: Called in because I didn’t have an adapter to pump up my tire and by the time I got there it would have been closed! But he said he would stay open for me! 🙌🙌 best people ever
K Man: Great bikes for kids, that are just gettin in the gear models. These are no walmart junk. I owned both. My older kids won't have another brand of bike. Expensive, but now my kids love to bike ride for extended periods of time.
Dennis Schmucker: Best bicycle place ever. Great and everlasting experience
Matthew Miller: Outstanding service!!! Went above and beyond to do the little things that make a big difference. Highly recommend!!!
Sarah Gonzalez: This place goes above and beyond for the customer. Great product. Great store
Rich D: Greg and Scott helped out tremendously!
Checkered Past: Excellent sales. They took time to answer all my questions.
Kara Calhoun: Waste of time I walked around the store several times no one helped or greeted me
David Shank: This place is over priced and is not friendly to the “casual biker” - they will try to sell you on things you do not need. Too much selling, not enough customer service.
Peaceful Right Mind: I just love the customer service ever time I have visited.👍👍👍👍
Todd B: This used to be the best bike shop in Fort Wayne but since Trek bought it not so much anymore.
Jordan Heckler: Great bike store. They have some adjustments to my Trek bike many times for free. I’ve been here several times and always a great experience with helpful friendly staff. I really mean this.
Titus Zimmermann: Bought my bike there and before you walk out they explain the bikes features and warranty. Very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every interaction I had with the employees
David Marr: Needs a self checkout lol

Fort Wayne Outfitters & Bike Depot: what do users think?
Jordan White: Very friendly people and a cozy shop, situated right on the riverside. We rented a tandem kayak for 2 hours, got to paddle up and back with nice wildlife and wooded views. Had we gone the other way we could’ve seen downtown from the river. We’ll definitely be back.
O M: Nice experience. I will say, I find it odd that to be an outfitter shop of nature lovers, the customer service wasn't very friendly like usual places. Not rude either, just kind of cold and seemingly uninterested in answering questions or giving any helpful information.
Herb Halley: Great Thule ebikes carrier and even better service.
lex longwood: I did a TT bike fitting with Kathy Boling. Got in touch with her through Fort Wayne Outfitters staff. She was great! She explained every step of the fitting and gave me loads of advice. Very thorough and really made sure I was comfortable with anything she suggested. Thank you so much Kathy!
Todd B: A great local outdoor and bike shop. Great people with a lot of nice things in their store.
Bella puga: We had booked 2 hours to go kayaking and the weather said it really wouldn’t rain and on the small chance it did It would just be a drizzle(even up to 12hours before) but about 30 minutes into our kayaking it started pouring and I mean downpour so we found a bridge to get underneath and called the shop. We asked if we could just get an hour the next day or even later when it’s not pouring and they told us to come back to the building to talk to the manager so we rowed back only to be told that we couldn’t do get an hour moved for the unexpected rain and couldn’t go back on since we got off even though they were the ones who told us to come back. If they had told us on the phone we couldn’t get the time then we would’ve simply stayed out hanging out on the river under the bridge but that wasn’t the case. Not coming back considering Fort Wayne weather can be sketchy not worth it. Their reason is it’s difficult to prep the kayak to go back out which frankly isn’t true easily done so if I’m choosing not to go back. Would be amazing on a nice day but we got unlucky and got unexpected rain and no help.
Robert Mcleish: Great customer service, employees were very nice
John Riepenhoff DC: Awesome experience kayaking. Highly recommend.
Fred Flynn: The company shamelessly requires tells every new customer that an email verification is required to complete the legal liability waiver. That is a disappointing manipulation just to confirm an email for future marketing purposes and potentially selling your email as a validated marketing tool. The liability waiver is understandably necessary, but all the personal information they require plus the signature is more than enough to complete the waiver, yet they tell the consumer we must confirm the email as well, which is simply not true.Otherwise, the kayaks are very good and the people working the location are kind. It is unfortunate that whoever is running the business side of it is overreaching on data gathering.
Bradan Taylor: Make your reservation online before arriving. They have a nice launching ramp to put into the water without having to get wet. The river was nice and enjoyable. Would definitely come back again.
Tayler Milliken: My husband and I went in search of new bikes and Tim & the team at Fort Wayne Outfitters were fantastic! We are amateurs at best and they were so attentive and helpful. From finding the right bikes for our riding style to the rack for the back of our SUV. Tim & Maggie walked us through all the minor details of our new bikes and accessories. Left feeling confident and excited for the adventure that awaits! Looking forward to our next visit to the shop.
Catherine Martin: I had a great rental experience at the Outfitters today. I hadn't used their online system before, but it was super easy and convenient. No paperwork at all when I got there, just a quick check-in with some very friendly and polite kids who got me in a kayak and on my way in no time! There were a ton of other paddlers and party boats on the water, so I would suggest going on a weekday if your schedule permits. I like it a bit quieter...but it's nice to see so many people enjoying Promenade Park and the rivers.
Will G: An Absolutely wonderful company that is a purely positive force in out community! Reasonable prices, great services, and all around stewards of the rivers and community!
Brett Chapin: I used Fort Wayne Outfitters to rent a kayak a couple weekends ago and they were amazing! Very helpful and provided lots of information for me, which was very valuable since it was my first time kayaking. They have a nice water ramp to get in and out of the water from a dock very easily with your kayak or canoe.
Hydro Studios: Family!
steve smith: Don't buy items there unless they are on sell, they will not refund any items that are not on sell. even within 7 days or 30 days
Haley Saylor: Was participating at the Fort4Fitness across the river when we got a flat tire 25 minutes before the race, and we were able to get in at a moments notice to get the flat changed and ready to race on time. Great, knowledgeable help!
Ria Fox: The staff was extremely inviting and informative. 1st Class bike shop! Thank you!
Jake D: Drove 5 hours to buy a kayak and would do it again if need be! Forrest and Emma were awesome and made sure I had everything I needed. Helped me load up my boat and pick up a few other things. It's shame I don't live closer! This is a great shop!
Andy Faith: Great prices and great views!
Brittany Talbot: The store has so many products to choose from, and the staff are so incredibly friendly!! I definitely recommend stopping in if you have any outdoor needs

INRUSH Bicycle Shop: what do users think?
Michael Johnson: Ordered a bike they had in stock but had to finish assembling and told them I'd come back to pick up later.... in the mean time I decided this bike was not going to be right for us (was a gift for my girlfriend) and called and asked they cancel, and they asked that I come in the store. When I did come in the store the following weekend I was told there would be a 15% re-stocking fee (which was never stated up front) that's like $120 for no bike ever brought home. They did "waive" this for me when I made it clear this was not okay, but then hit me with card fees. I did bring them 2 bikes as well and paid them for service on those.... To me the card fees are what is referred to as the cost of doing business and they should not have hit me with it. I was even going to come back and buy a different bike but this all rubbed me the wrong way. It was all about re-stocking fees, card fees, trying to absorb as much money from a canceled order for a bike I never took home or even road one time. They said it was because now they were over stocked on that model. Yikes.Update: reply to owner, this is pretty close to what took place sorry over stock wasn’t the word used but pretty close. You guys did try to get me into another accessory that’s true, but it was NOT what I wanted.. also no one spoke to me about trying to get the other bike…. Your reply is basically calling me a liar and apologizing in the same reply. Keep in mind just because I agreed to get hit with a 30 dollar card fee for a bike that never left your store doesn’t mean I enjoyed the experience or would ever shop with you again and it definitely doesn’t mean the review will be positive. It was a bad experience period. I was getting very argumentative vibes in the store, which was super uncomfortable, do you think I enjoyed the 30 dollar fee and really wanted that? Read the room next time.UPDATE #3 (shop is also updating their review and not marking the updates) this is removing context… I did not bring up the card fees. You guys did. That is a blatant lie and I am calling you out now. I was done posting about this horrible experience but now I’m going to add reviews to all other websites. I guarantee 1 thing, your security footage does not show me bringing up the card fees, but instead agreeing to them to get out of the store. Guess who was also recording with their smart phone in their front pocket! 😉
David Geng: Best bike shop experience ever! Very personable service and they tried to diagnose then service as opposed to just replacing things because. Excellent pricing and quality work. Will be my go-to shop from now on!
Daniel Horney: Outstanding customer service and quality of work: Our bikes look cleaner and perform better than when they were new. Highly recommend!
Jonathan Hale: Best bike shop in town! Great human beings. Honest. Reliable. Great service department. I trust them with all of my bikes. Would give 6 stars if I could!
Luis Aragon: Great affordable service!
Brian Blocher: Great customer service & quality work! Very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back for my bike needs.
Josh M: Super duper honest, friendly folks at this bike shop. Not a whiff of arrogance in the air, just nice people willing to answer all of my stupid questions.Extremely reasonable service prices considering I can’t do it myself, so they could charge whatever they wanted to.I wouldn’t go elsewhere.
Trevor Rush: I was in the market for a new road bike and the folks at INRUSH were very helpful! They were very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm very happy with my new bike. Great service! Would recommend.
Michael Uy: Charles and Micki are amazing
Tim G: They said they would call when they had time to repair my bike. Never did call in 2 years
jose sanchez: Such an awesome place ...I'm new to biking .. haha, So I'm one of those people that say ...you know I have a bike with the threaded bolt thing and I want it swapped out for a quick clamp thingy ?? (Over the phone mind you )... I immediately got a answer and rough price over the phone , that's how friendly and in tuned to their customers they are. She didn't ask a brand just asked that I bring it in to measure it to make sure it wasn't a weird size . Totally understandable! They also serviced my bike in a matter of 2 days , when they told me it may take around 5 days. Super friendly, knowledgeable and don't get snooty like some shops I've been to if you don't have a specific brand name bike. I will keep coming back to this shop for my entire family's bike issues.
V. Solomon: Had another AMAZING experience at In Rush today. Took my son's and wifes bike in to be adjusted, and also got a battery for my bike computer. Always treated right, good service, and fair prices. Best in Fort Wayne!!!AWESOME BUSINESSS AND OWNERS!
Dan Hart: Great LBS with awesome service selling Comfort Hybrid & Mountainbikes.I have a Giant CTX and wanted to get the wheels trued. The rear had a bit of wobble and the front needed spokes tightened. The shop I bought the bike from is out of business, so INRush is a Giant dealer and had great reviews, so I stopped inMicki and Charles were very friendly and helpful with my questions. The could fix my wheels the same day. I left both and ran mid-day errands; Charles called to tell my wheels were ready for pickup.I looked over both wheels; true to within one mm, and tight spokes throughout. I had two rides on Saturday and Sunday afterwards, and the bike felt more secure and responsive.Since they are a Gaint dealer, I can get OEM parts for my CTX; I will go here before an internet search.I have bought from INRush since 2016, usually for small tools and gear. The shop has always been great and this visit has made all of my rides since better.I did not have to wait and paid a fair price for two trued wheels within a few hours.Bravo INRush Bikes!
Krystle Reese: Thank you for the feedback...I actually didn't have an unpleasant experience at all...everyone was friendly, respectful, and helpful...I just responded based on my initial experience...that's my first time in a bicycle shop getting information about my bicycle and whatever I may need to fix it...I didn't know what to expect...I understand how important reviews are and I apologize if I've caused any confusion...my review isn't done yet😉...i got my bike back with my new seat and tune up...and I can say that Im glad I have a spot to go to get my bicycle needs done...thank you all for your help...I would recommend INRUSH
Bobbie Jo Starnes: Amazing people!!! Great prices.... very impressed!! Definitely recommend!
Anton Babich: I love these guys! Every time we come, they get us in fast, fix our issues fast, and on top of everything are super reasonable! Love this bike shop!
Peter Hoover: Recently went in for service on my bike after a crash. They never tried to upsell me, and service was done well and done quickly. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and my bike is faster now than it was before!
Gary Greene: I love going to the bike shop. I got great personal service at a great price to respoke my wheel and replace a stretched chain. The owner was very helpful I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me something that I didn't need. I will be back!
S Roberson: My husband and I decided to check out this bike store based on the awesome reviews because the reviews alone stood apart from any other place in town.We checked out some bikes back at the beginning of June. I was pretty certain I wanted a comfort bike. I had to let it go and think it over. I came back in and talked with the owners about wanting to ride a bike to keep up with my husband on more challenging rides. They helped me sway my decision from a Liv Flourish to a Liv Tempt and made a couple of modifications to give me the comfort factor I was looking for. I am very pleased with my new bike and so far have tried it in our neighborhood. I am excited to get a helmet and some accessories and get to riding soon. This place has been awesome in answering our questions and also for servicing his new bike. Do not waste your time with any other shop in town because this place has you covered! The customer service is top-notch and they truly live up to the excellent reviews. FYI, we went to the “other” retailer in town that sells a brand name and the customer service was almost non-existent. No care and little effort to talk to me about my likes/dislikes. We walked out of that store disappointed.
Robert Geise: Absolutely the best bike shop. Super helpful and knowledgeable. We've relied on Inrush a bunch over the years and they always come through big time. We have 10 bikes and ride every day it is above 30F.... total about 4500 miles per year.
Jacob Masterson: Recently picked up a used gravel bike that needed some tires. They swapped the tires & tubes, (which is what I needed), and went the extra mile and did some small maintenance that the bike needed! I left while they did the work, and a call from them within 45 minutes!Super friendly, eager to help, and just all around awesome. Will definitely be going back for all of my future needs!

Art Werks Bike Shop: what do users think?
Graham Blackwood: Nate was super nice and helpful!
Jeremy Morrison: Nate stocks new and used, old school and new school parts and equipment and is the most friendly knowledgeable person to deal with! His shop has that old school feel, which i loved!! He helped me out and got my son on his first racing bike this season a 2021 GT Speed series XXL! And while I was there I was able to pick up, at his suggestion, a sealed bottom bracket for my 91 Dyno Compe which made a world of difference from the old ball bearings!! Thanks Nate for an Awesome experience!!!
Brews & Views: This bike shop is pretty much the raddest thing in Fort Wayne. What makes this place so rad you ask. The level of knowledge of bikes and how to work on them, the owner and staff are down to earth. That pretty much it.
K to the R.C.: Pulled up to the store front and it appeared closed. There was a clothes basket in front of the door. Called the number on the door. When asked if they were open they gentlemen asked “service or sales?” When we said service he said he was booking a month out. This is definitely not the place to go to have your bicycled serviced in a reasonable time frame.
Michael Rhoades: Super nice guy! Very knowledgeable about cycling. I would recommend to anyone!
Kelby Musselman: My favorite bike shop. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Parker Sparks: What an awesome bike shop. My wife and I picked up two bikes last minute and they’re both awesome! The owner as extremely helpful and gave us both a solid deal. extremely friendly and made it worth every dollar. 10/10
Matthew Presswood: Just bought a smooth bike for my wife for her birthday. Super nice bike. The owner is such a nice dude and nobody else had a bike in stock for our price range. The shop has alot of used historical gems that reminded me of my youth. We shop local and just saying he knows bikes well. Thanks and we will be back to purchase another bike for sure! Can't wait to buy our son a bmx or bannana seat cruiser once he is old enough to choose his ride. Totally worth checking out!
Gerre Wade: Busy
Wesley Rigot: Went in for question. Unbelievably helpful. Gave great information and advice. Wasn’t about making a sale. Truly have smart cost effective advice. We will be back for bicycle needs for sure.
Ralph Marcuccilli: Called during pancemic, and got a quick call back within a few minutes. Seems very responsive and happy to do some business with them
Tracy McMenimen: I've left 2 voice messages asking to be called back and have not received a call back yet. I went by today at 2:00 today....the hours on the door say they opened at 11:00.....nobody was there. I'm very disappointed. I had to take my bike elsewhere.
keith buttke: I have purchased 2 bikes from Nate in a week. One for my daughter, a very nice and way reasonably priced haro 24 bmx. And a GT mountain bike for myself. The man is awesomely genuine, loves what he does, and will be an absolute staple for my bicycling needs now and everytime I or my family requires it. Keep it up, Nate!
gary mangol: Kind and curtious. Ready when scheduled. Very fair prices. All around good experience.
Savannah Barron: Stopped in thinking it was time to get a new bike... Nate was quick to change my mind! He dropped what he was doing to help me install new bike tires/tubes and oil up my breaks. Now my Panasonic is ready to ride! Customer service was 10/10. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for an awesome vintage bike or need a quick tune up! I will be back.
Anthony Biddle: Cool bikes , cool space , Awsome owner
Tonya Withano: Great shop, great customer service, vintage bikes, very knowledgeable.
Steve Lewis: Great shop !! Old cool school ! Vintage bikes , major repair place . Snoop it out , worthy of return !
Joshua R.: This place is great. Nick is extremely honest. I brought in a bike from a garage sale and t needed some work. The cost was exactly what was estimated (I was expecting a little more at least, but it was spot on). I will be returning here for all of my bike needs in the future.
Gates Cory: He fixes all our flats and we have many from riding on busy roads. Its how we get everywhere. In fact I'm going in today. This guy has a passion for what he does!

Fort Wayne Trails: what do users think?
Mr. Magnificent: 👌
Nissan 370Z Is Underrated: Glorified sidewalks which are useless for serious bicyclists. Other states provide bike lanes and paved shoulders for cyclists who do not want to dodge pedestrians and pedestrians walking their dogs, or having to stop at one side road or driveway after another. Fort Wayne is a backwards dump.
Big ERN: Fort Wayne has most likely the best trail system for a city as small as it is, and it grows and improves every year!! I've ridden on the trails since I was a lil kid when it was basically one trail that could take me from Johnny Appleseed park to southtown mall. Now it goes all through the city, you can park your car at Moser park in new haven and ride on the trail never worrying about car traffic until you get to downtown Fort Wayne, then go through the city, or there is trails that take you on the outside of downtown if you don't wanna deal with car traffic. Then, you can keep going west and it co nects to the Aboite trail system! I ride three times a week, and my rides are always a lil different!
Sophisticated Mapping: Great pathways connecting the city!
Greg Majewski: Fort Wayne has a great trail system, and it's getting better all the time. These folks are the reason why!
Tony Hills: My wife and I had read about the trail and not having anything to do on a Saturday afternoon decided to throw our bicycles in the truck and check it out. We left the truck in New Haven and rode our bicycles into downtown Fort Wayne. Much to our surprise a festival was underway and there was a manned bicycle corral there. We parked our bicycles and enjoyed the festival for several hours before riding back to the truck. All in all it was a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
Amanda Carothers: Nice ride
Alan Moran: I'm a regular cyclist, and am always sure to hit up the trails when i go somewhere for work. I was really impressed with these trails. The maintenance was above average, and plenty of scenic riding. Yeah, there are a few parts that need some work, and some sections that are less than scenic, but you get that with every trail system in a city. I was really pleased with the ride overall, and will be sure to ride it again the next time I'm in town.
D. J.: They are really improving on linking all the trails....I have enjoyed walking or biking most of them!

Fort Wayne Outfitters Bike Hub: what do users think?
scott Adams: Very knowledgeable, yet small and simple store. Mostly they assembly the new bikes sold from the main location. But when your on a ride and need an adjustment or quick fix, its nice to havea place downtown. They helped me when my peddle fell off
Sam Welch: Tim is the man. He took care of my bike quickly and did above and beyond on the service. Cannot recommend him or his work enough.
M. Casey Kirksey: Friendly staff, great service and set me up with a great rental for my ride. Quick and easy!
Steve Kepler: Great friendly service.
Will G: Great service, Friendly staff, and reasonable prices!! They have a great selection of supplies for pretty much all cycling needs, not to mention the awesome boat rentals. Rarely is there a more perfect process than the one they have there. Highly recommend
Amber B. Huyghe: With the weather now starting to break I decided to get my bike ready to hit the streets. I needed a new back tire and a more comfortable seat to ride this season. After purchasing a quality seat from the Cass store, they made a great suggestion to get the tire fixed at the downtown location since it would be easier to walk it down there. Emily was absolutely amazing! She was on it! The tire was taken care of, adjusted brake calipers, added air in front tire, and made sure I felt comfortable before leaving to ride. It was also very empowering to have a fellow woman hold in down in the bike repair world. She empowered me to make sure I understood the necessary tools to be safe and knowledgeable when riding. Thanks for the 5 star experience!!P.S. I didn’t have cash to tip her. Maybe add a feature to card services to leave a tip for the time and energy spent on taking care of customer needs. They deserve it! 😉
Problematic Rodriguez: I passed by while the employees were working outside on the kayaks I then asked if I myself could fit with my nephews they said it would have to be on a canoe but to rent one it needed to be online several days later I made and paid online to reserve the canoe I then called about 2 hours prior to confirm that myself and 2 children would fit on a canoe and that I reserved online as well then about a half hour before I called asking about the life jackets she let me know that they provided them upon arrival a gentleman approaches me and let’s me know that I am not able to use a canoe after I had already spoken to several people prior to arriving so you can imagine the disappointment of myself and my nephews when this happened!!!
Ben Messick: Emily was great to work with and took great care of our bikes. Great asset to downtown and highly recommended.
Zachary Newman: Good service and attitude even thou i dont quite fit in there
Josh Reno: Great staff, very helpful, and fast service from people who really know what they are doing. Was having issues with a New bike my wife had purchased and they fixed it right up in no time. Highly recommend!
Ian Richardson: Perfect service, and walked away with exactly the tool I needed to do everything myself to replace my rear rim. I really liked this little niche of a bicycle shop.
Dionne Myers: They did a great job, and are super fast! My bike was working way better when I left! Thanks Emily!
Thomas Strassel: Good little shop. Friendly service. They told me if you're riding around and your tire gets low they'd let you use their bike pump for free.
Blake Mihavics: Always very fast and friendly service no matter if I haven't been in the store in weeks or even months or if I come in 2-3 times a day.
Christopher Sanchez: High end store with a wide selection of name brands. ConvenientConvententlyy located in downtown Fort Wayne. Highly recommend!!!
Chris Leonard: Friendly, fast service for repairs and quick tunes. Great selection of commuter items and knick-knacks!
Al Steffen: Very clean and organized. Very helpful and knowledgeable employee. Not as much selection as main branch, as expected.
