Faith Webb: We chose to move to the Southwest Allen School district so our son would have the opportunity to go to a better high school. He spent K-8 in a different district. We have been very happy with the education and experience at Homestead. Not knowing anyone from the feeder middle school's, he made a lot of friend's in high school. They take education seriously, and don't put up with disrespect and classroom disruptions. The school is clean and the teacher's are great for the most part. Parent's... get involved, if you can, to see what's happening in your child's school. We are happy to say our son is a proud 2018 graduate of Homestead HS.

ethan l: This is the premiere high school of the southwest Allen county district. Homestead high school consists of over 2400 students. On a more personal note my experience here has been pleasant. Students of this school are kind and always willing to lend a helping hand.

This school deserves to be a 5 star school. We are all friends no matter what grade. We try hard to make this an amazing place to go. New kids love it as soon as we say hi.
Chris Raue: Like it's neighboring elementary school it is quit, "clickie", but there is a bigger majority of clicks so much easier to fit in and make friends but that also comes along with maturing children. The Leo schools are still a respectable system even if the people aren't that friendly.

Jeff Bradley: My comment is on the website, not the school. I'm a proud alumnus of Leo High School, who later graduated from Northwestern and moved to Hong Kong. Disappointed that the school's website blocks me due to the fact that I live in Hong Kong! I would think that an institution that strives to be 'world class' should not be afraid of contact with people outside the US - particularly alumni.
CM Forster: I attended this school 94-97. I went to a private elementary school and then a private college. Leo is a joke. I really had to work hard in order to catch up in college. The education is poor at best.I also agree wholeheartedly with a previous poster, unless your family has been in Leo so long, that your family has a street named after you, forget it. These people do not accept outsiders. I very very happy to graduate and get out!

Bdndn Ndndndh: Schools Sucks!all ceiling is removed, taking 3 years to finish a stupid renovation. Which is not fair for the students who have to go through it!! No heat, or air condition. COUNCELORS AND TEACHERS SUCK. The councelors don’t ever help with anything . The teachers pick favorites and give good grades to THEIR FAVORITE ONLY. The principal doesn’t comprehend with anything you say, is selfish. If i could I wouldn’t even give this school one star .

Sleeping Wind Spirit: I am awfully glad to hear this school had gotten rid of Kevin Simmons as principal and replaced him with someone competent. Simmons was a joke. He had ruined the school careers of more than a few students. He threatened students. He was basically a man-child. However, the childish behavior did not end with him. Almost the entire staff at the office seemed to be people they picked off the streets! They were rude, hung up on me more than a few times, threatened one of my friend's and called her stupid, would not help students with personal or school related issues. Where did this school get people like this?? Hell? Mrs. Gonzalez should also not be there. She was just like Mr. Simmons in his incompetence and often aided him in all the awful things he did to the students and teachers!! I think about eight or nine of the teachers I personally knew there quit because of Simmons, by the way. It was FWCS's fault for hiring these type of degenerates.
Anime Saved My Life: Hellish I went here and now have PTSD. I will never be free of this cesspool. I was literally subjected to acts of torture as a child and Northrop did more psychiatric damage through things like being publicly groped. I remember a school administrator telling me, "Every year has a kid everybody picks on, and you're that kid." She didn't care. I'm not even going to say what I thought about doing to myself on school grounds so people don't get ideas.
Allison Silva: I am not going to point fingers, and I do not want this review to affect how my future year at Northrop is going to go, but from what I have heard from my parents, brother, and friends, it sounds awful! My brother didn't get to go to prom for this unbelievable reason. He had mononucleosis for a couple weeks, and got 1 doctor's note to cover the whole 2 weeks. They said it wasn't enough. My parents called the school and talked to them and it got solved, but he still didn't get to go to his Junior prom. I have begged my parents to let me go to Snider, or South Side, but it just doesn't look like it will work out. I am dreadful, and I am worried of what is to come for my 4 years. Northrop has to be the worst high school in FWCS and I hope they can resolve the problems that need to be resolved.

c beys: First of all, I could sum Northrop up in three words: Rude, Wasteful, and Hypocritical. I say rude because 80% of the workers have no manners what so ever. If you ask to borrow a pen, you will get snarled at. If you greet a teacher with 'Hey.', they will scold you. It is wasteful with money. Why didn't they spend the money buying themselves a bear and flat screen televisions for air conditioning? Hypocritical because they will tell you to do one thing, and then do it the same them selves. Why is my gym teacher wearing heels? Why is my tear wearing tank tops? I don't think it's bad, but if they can do it, I feel like I should be able to also. The guidance staff are bad. There was a group of teenagers bullying and pushing around people in the main hallway and the guy, who was supposed to be a guidance, just stood there! Too much of a sissy. I do not feel safe or happy when I go to this school everyday. The students have no manners.The only positive thing I have to say about this morbid school is Mr. Ratliff. He is the only worker that can teach students to do the right thing. He knew what was far and what wasn't. He was flexible and always got things done.

Clairity Calvillo (Awry): Graduated 2017 Wish I could give zero stars. Went to 7 high schools and this one was the worst. Don't recommend this school to anyone. The Good teachers are amazing strong willed people and I don't know how they do it. The bad teachers are so bad that I don't know how they are teachers. Rest in peace miss holier. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have graduated I think. The staff has absolutely no control over their students. A lot of students there were seniors that barely could read. I lost some faith for education systems this school would be the example of why. So many family members went there and all agree with me. The bullying is insane even by staff. I had bad experiences with staff and when my mother called the school they just bashed me in front of everyone for speaking out laughing at me and acted like I was crazy. If you're popular with people then you would do fine here. If you already know people at the school you will do fine. Students carry guns. Drug deals right by the school. People smoke weed in the alleys. Students drug deal at that school. I could go on for pages.
Madeline Garvin: My graduation class has reunions every 5 years, and several of us are still close. While a student attending this institution, I had many positive experiences. The majority of the students and staff were positive and welcoming.
