Poor customer service, their online and mobile technology is extremely behind the curve, and most of all-ridiculous fees that other banks do not charge their customers. Specifically; a $10 monthly maintenance fee, $5.00 Non Flagstar ATM fee, etc. and on top of charging someone $36 dollars in overdraft—Flagstar charges their customers $6.00 each and every day the account is negative. Not all of those ‘fees’ are common practice among other banks and credit unions—beware!!I would also recommend that Paola’s Managers investigate her customer service abilities and would encourage them to listen to her handle a phone call from an upset client. I clearly left more unhappy and more frustrated after engaging with her. She was rude, disrespectful and lacked even the courtesy to let me finish my sentences.I feel sorry for any Wells Fargo customers you might have left. I’m closing my account and warning every person I am able to to avoid Flagstar.
Zac Coar: I come to this location almost every day, the employees are friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to go that extra mile to take care of you. Always greeted with a smile and quick transactions. If you want to choose a bank for business or personal in Fort Wayne, this is the one to go to. Leslie, Brice, Latoda, Khin... All the employees are amazing. Thank you for making banking actually enjoyable.

Grinch XIV: They are completely incompetent and think their on customers are fraud. I have a payroll check which went through but now they are saying they cant process it and think its fraud. I'm going to go find a different a bank
engle lease: Old national bank is the only bank in fort wayne that closed all!!!!!!! locations on 1/30/19!!! you think they could have had one branch open when every other bank in town is open!!!! poor customer service . understand might have had to close some branches but not all. Also they are one of the only banks in the area with no Saturday hours. As of the first of the year there drive thru close at 5PM most people work till 5pm but on Fridays they are kind enough to be open till 530 pm!! Find a different bank if your out looking for banks
Allen Brouwer: Great bank who cares about its clients. Always seems to be involved in community events.
Trevor Holtgrave: They nickle and dime you on your Health Savings Account (HSA). The HSA is there for a reason and they charge ridiculous $5 dormant fees.Note: This bank was previously Old Tower until they got bought out by Old National. We never had a problem with Old Tower. Old National does not care about the customers and simply wants to profit from their own customers. Go to another bank.

nicole manson: I called like I have before, I didn’t have any problems the first time I called. I called because I wanted to know how much I had in my account because my mobile account login isn’t working and I wanted to schedule to come in and get that fixed so I can get a working login after being told how much was on my card. The lady on the call wouldn’t tell me because she said she needed to know my social security number, I don’t have it memorized or have it on hand with me. So then I told her I need to go get it and she says I can not help you. I had no problems the first time calling in to ask until she refused to tell me. The first time I called I wasn’t even asked for my social security I was asked for a deposit number so that’s what I had with me. If what she did was for security purposes I don’t understand it because the first time I called in I had a good encounter I gave her the number she asked me for and a few security questions and I was told how much was in my account. I think what she did was rude, and if they were able to tell me with my deposit number why wouldn’t she let me use it again to find out.

Cort Chilian: The service that I receive at this branch has been personal and efficient. There have been times when the branch manager has assisted the tellers when they are busy. I have never experienced waiting for service. I have always been treated like a person not a customer.

Paula Oatess: I have been a Star customer for decades. I recently made a large purchase while on vacation and the experience getting the money from Star in Indiana to the people I made a purchase from in Florida has been nothing but a nightmare. Part of the money for the purchase came from a credit union account we also have and that was done in one day. Star made me do it as a Bill Pay for the money from their bank. They said the person would have the money by the 9th and today is the 10th and they still don’t have the check. Why Star couldn’t just transfer the money to the person’s account with the routing and account number like the credit union did is beyond me in the modern era of technology. I will definitely be making some financial changes when I get home to Indiana.
Kevin McCammack: I needed to make a large withdrawal and was told that I needed to put in a request 2 weeks before making a large withdrawal. The teller then told me she would call other branches to see if any or multiple ones could help me. She called me back sooner than I expected and found two branches that could accommodate me. I think everyone involved went above and beyond the normal to satisfy my needs. I’m very thankful to be banking with Star.

Heather Rea: Horrible bank and horrible service. They only want to give outrageous overdraft fees, even though your account is nit supposed to be in the negitive. They make it go in negitive so they can slap you with ridiculous amounts of fees. Im closing my account. I have a new bank that does NOT steal money from my account. I also have a lawyer. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK WITH ANY OF YOUR MONEY.

They always make me feel welcome and know me by name. The manager here is accessable and that's more than I can say for most managers. It feels like a small family owned place. Julie Peavler: My husband is out of town and called the customer service number to get an increase on his ATM card. They did not put it through. We had to call the the branch first thing on Monday to get it taken care of. I also had an incident where I needed to dispute a charge and customer service told me to call the bank that made the charge. The bank was closed and it was in North Dakota! We live in Indiana. I honestly feel they need to improve the customer service after hours. The branch is excellent! They are always helpful and do as we request.

Dave MacDonald: The staff at this branch is very welcoming and helpful. I was a bit reluctant to switch when they closed the Coliseum location because it was so close but don't regret it at all now. The building interior is breathtaking. They have extra lanes for drive-thru if you prefer that service.

Tim Kaufman: They kept calling and checking to see if I had any issues. I didn't at first. Now I got an issue and the local branch says call the customer service number. And they don't know anything! I can deposit into Draftking but I can't withdraw my money because of my bank. It says so on the Ap if it happens the financial institution didn't give them permission. I will be closing my account soon if it isn't fixed!

I haven't had an account w/ Flagstar Holding Corp for 2 years and that acct was sold to them by my previous bank. Credit monitoring is being offered for 2 years when this will be an ID theft concern forever.“Owner” I don’t use either one of those platforms.

Charles Metz: I came in to cash a check drawn on STAR Financial Bank. The young man behind the counter was of little help, scoffed that he would have to call and verify funds because it was such a large amount ($900) then indicated there would be a $7 check cashing fee since I am not an account holder. I indicated that based upon that info I wouldn't ever open an account with Star. He didn't seem to care one way or the other and sat in silence. If I wanted to be treated poorly I would goto one of the national banks, not what one should expect at a local place!
